Thank you for watching! Want to delve even deeper into the Forbidden Zone? Watch our "Making Mutant" Video here: ua-cam.com/video/cSh7L0S4pN4/v-deo.html There, we discuss the challenges of doing a short film and a pilot at the same time, while also offering some reflections on the making of the effects and masks, shooting in Pripyat and whatever happened to the proposed sequel. Cheers!
Thank you! We put our hearts and souls into this and particularly the continuation, but creative differences and legalities with the IP-holders put a stop to the feature film: ua-cam.com/video/cSh7L0S4pN4/v-deo.html We’re currently making new original short films based on folklore and aim to make a feature length film some time in the next, oh, ten years. :) Thanks again for your kind words!
Just for stealth's sake, you don't have your mess kit just hanging where it clanks as you move, not to mention that it could fall off if you had to run or had something chasing you. You put it in a pouch and secure that to or in your backpack. My family is military and backwoods, so this is something we grow up learning.
Allison Shaw, that's d first thing I notice,! It's a very Kool short film, but I was like that metal bowl, could trip u. Or make noise, or reflect light giving your position away to possible enemies! I ain't an outdoorsman! But I grew up n Alabama and d Florida panhandle USA. 😂 😆 LOL
I know right, people in the apocalypse in their trying to be stealthy will always have pots and huge metal stuff on the side of the big, making a bunch of noise, i would prefer either to travel light or find a way to avoid making noise while having any type of metal object.
@@Kiss4cooper We really crammed a lot of stuff into this little film, hopefully without feeling bloated. We’re finishing a making-of documentary as we speak, should be up later this week! Thanks for watching :)

Very enjoyable flick, meant to be enjoyed for what it is, not picked apart by the reality police. It called "fiction" for a reason. Great tongue in cheek humor. Loved the Derp-Phone.
The gun fight was awesome! A good combination of tense action and comedy. The modified shotgun was off the chain. One small point though...he wasted a bullet to shoot open a can with an obvious clip on one end and potentially valuable stuff inside? Really?
Great film, about as cool as it gets. Hilariously funny gun fight and the farting baby in the glass tube was a great touch. Nice departure from the usual. Good work Albin Glasell.
Thaaaaank you, Jon! We thought so too, the script actually exists (in Swedish) but it’s in limbo with the company… we’re making a video on the making-of Mutant as we speak, you’ll get to know more stuff from there :)
@@Dude101p Thank you! I’m sounding like a broken record-player in these comments but long story short: we had every intention of making a feature film as a continuation, I wrote a first full draft and then the IP-holders got cold feet. Now I make the films I want to make while the company owning the rights to Mutant has been bought up by some gaming publisher. Have a good day, thanks for watching!
What a great short film!! The whole time I was thinking this is like Fallout the game, if ever they made that into a movie, this would be the trailer for it. The farting baby cracked me up laughing lol. Please do another episode if you's can!!!
Thanks, Nathan! We really tried to mix the feel of most popular post-apocalyptic properties, glad you mentioned Fallout! We had a whole feature film sequel planned out but the owners of the Mutant property shut us down, I’m afraid. We’re currently editing our latest short film, inspired by the original Alien! Have a good one!
@@AlbinGlasell That sounds awesome!! Can't wait for that one! In space, noone can hear you scream.....or brown your pants if there's a chest burster 🤣💩
THANK YOU! Funny thing, we wrote a continuation as a feature film which then would conclude with a series. Sadly, there wasn't enough interest in the script from the producer nor in the IP itself from the various streaming services... But we learned a LOT! Thanks again for giving it a watch, have a good one!
Thanks, me too! Sadly, a continuation is unlikely (as of now). Me and the cinematographer are working on a reflection-video where we openly discuss what happened behind the scenes and the future (and intent) of the project. We’re in editing now so it should be completed and uploaded soon!
