- In this Post Apocalyptic Short Film, months after the nuclear attacks that targeted all of Americas major cities, as seen on Nuclear Monday, we see Brian and Chris adapting to their new lives underground in this post apocalyptic short film.
After making their way to their neighbor's bunker, and surviving the nuclear attack they face new challenges brought upon by the nuclear fallout. - Розваги

According to a more recent guide as long you have enough dog food you can keep her.
When it's about survival, like it or not its best to leave the dog for obvious reasons. The dog will be a drain on very limited resources (stuff you need to survive, if the dog lives it can scavenge around for food), and unless the dog is very well trained it will bark and make noise where others (possibly bad people) can locate you easily and take your supplies and more than likely kill you).

Back in 1965 I was living in Roseburg Oregon when the sirens went off accidentally and I went to the basement but nobody followed because I was only a kid and the rest of the town people didn't recognize the signal and that was less than 3 years after the Cuban missile crisis how could they forget so soon ? 12:21
Well done. It does portend a confrontation with a foreign power and what it would be like after the nukes. What a sad, frightening future for us.
It would have to be a lone crazy leader. The superpowers are locked into the peace through mutually assured destruction theories!
But one lunatic with a nuke? Willing to use it. Well that's something entirely different! I just hope for strong and patient leaders for the future. One small step and the planet will have to reset itself IF anything is left!

That was good effect. I've heard stories from US soldiers that have witness these things go off. Strange colors & illumination, & than you hear a quick bang after a couple of minutes went by, not a rumbling explosion, but a sharp ear shattering bang. Leaving you with the ears ringing & the reverberation like thunder all around them.
That was good for amateurs!
Yup can confirm this from people who witnessed test shots. The craziest ones were the Castle Bravo shot that had way more Mt then expected (7Li photodisintigrates giving lots of energy) the Starfish prime test created a powerful EMP and made aurouras that lasted a while..😮

You wanna be stuck in a fallout shelter with about 300 other nasty people with no supplies? I'd rather take my luck with the fireball in the sky! Because you may be down there for a couple weeks and we all know what happens when that many people are stuck together with no survival skills or supplies...

Do you live close to a primary target? I mean close but not too close.
If your too close you'll be vaporized immediately. Unfortunately if you wanna see the "fireworks" you're gonna have to live a ways away from a target but then you may survive for a while until the radiation kills you. I say stick close to a primary target. So you can go outside and melt. You won't even know what happened.
My first thought was about the lack of gloves as well.

If these two are in a house in good shape then so is their town or area which raises somr logical questions that start with they would have neighbors in there good houses. They wouldn't be hiding from all their neighbors. 😊

Hummm , many people think they would survive a full nuclear strike hence they support such confrontation, however the chances of surviving it are remote , if you consider that after surviving , the blast , the expasive wave and the periferical heat anything that gets flashed or XR by the Gamma would be either immediately destroyed, or in the case of been hundred of milles away have their DNA destroyed, in the most optimistic case surviving for a month or so and perishing the most painful death there is. If so lucky not to be exposed to the previous efect , the fall out , the wind and water contaminated by radiation or gamma exposure, nothing exposed would be edible , the EMP would destroy most generator filtration divises, electronics inside bunkers.

Typically us Brits don't have basements. We would be expected to take off our internal doors and make a makeshift shelter...its so ridiculous 😅 it was in our official protect and survive manual and eas broadcasts. Yay uk 🇬🇧 lol 😂

I Do Believe People Should Now Be Preparing For What’s Coming In Our Nation. It’s Real Serious And Scary. Millions Are Not Prepared In The United States . We Are At Almost At The Edge. Could Be This Year Or 2024 or 2025! Many Will Not Survive.
If all out nuke war happens it's best not to survive it, Hollywood never shows the nuke winter that follows that lasts 5 yrs or more and how it kills basically everything on this rock. Starvation, disease, and the radiation affects are not something to face even if you are somewhat prepared.
This is downplayed from the real thing. 90 percent of humans will be wiped out after the initial attack

The worst thing for 2 young guys in a post apocalypse world, would be a potential lack of female companionship. With a good woman, you can get through anything. Plus, you have a whole new world to create.

I have the same question. I think it might be 1 of the army books shown on the bookcase at the start of the short film.
OK, went back and looked at it is "Dare to Prepare" by Holly Deyo. Currently available in the 6th edition. Not cheap. Reading some reviews, it's not touted as a survivalist's book, but more a preparation book. Has very little information on guns. Hope this helps.

And, by the way, after three months you’d be fine to expose yourself to the residual radiation
