Never played D&D myself, but this series has been one of the best things I have ever watched. I really hope you guys can figure out a way to film and continue the story soon!
the dungeon master really makes the game, and Rob is setting the bar way to high lol people talk about the mat mercer effect (another good dungeon master online) but for me Rob is the best DM ive come across, add in these 4 idiots and this is just amazing. I would pay for this leveling of DMing in my games.

Furthermore, other people’s dice actually managed to f*** Ben over, whether it was Greg’s poor heals, the "of course" moment of Rob rolling to select a target, or Rob rolling damage to KO Bob in one hit. Ben technically rolled the most Natural 20s, which was surprising, but didn’t actually help him much. He also rolled the least amount of damage; partly due to casting _Sleep_ instead of attacking, partly due to rolling low on damage often, partly due to being knocked out in both combats, and partly due to his main weapons being a Dagger & Shortsword. He rolled 11 or above 19/30 times, 10 or below 10/30 times. Our boy is still definitely cursed. Rowan rolled the most, in large part due to the 18 rolls he made with advantage, which saved him from actually having to use either of his Natural 1s. He dealt the most damage, and succeeded the most. Going by his actual rolls he rolled the worst. He rolled 11 or above 25/50 times, and 10 or below 23/50 times. But since so many of them are with advantage, he improved his roll 15/18 times. He succeeded 14/18 times while rolling with advantage. All of this goes to show just how powerful advantage is. Adam rolled the most 1s, in large part due to spamming _Magic Missile,_ because at low levels why wouldn’t you? Damage is damage. Another was for initiative, which doesn’t actually give any real disadvantage. Another was for *Wild Magic Surge,* and it didn’t do anything harmful. He & Bodger are nearly tied for damage, and even if Adam rolled more 1s, he always rolled multiple dice to make up for it, whereas when Rowan rolled a 1 on damage, that was it. Even when he loses, Baradun seems to win. He rolled 11 or above 11/29 times, 10 or below 12/29 times, and had the most unknown rolls because he rarely called out his rolls for *Wild Magic Surge* unless it actually came up a 1. Alan continues to roll considerably less than his allies. He got 5 Nat 1s, but two were for healing Bob, and one was for damage. It is hilarious that his “Lucky” re-roll gave him a Nat 1, however. This speaks to his luck across all his dice, as he rolled 10 or below 15/25 times (11 or above 10/25 times) and failed to get any Nat 20s this time around.
I've lost track of how many times I've watched and rewatched this campaign, and the encounter with the four assassins from the Dirt League is still one of my favorites 🤣
Never was interested in playing DandD until i watched this series. Really opened my eyes to all the fun it can be. Played a one shot two weeks ago and now have joined a new full (pirates-ish theme) campaign with 5 friends every Thursday! Thanks for opening my eyes to the joy of D and D!

The guys need to become a travelling boy band; the 3B's, with Greg as their manager, responsible for pop hits as "You Should Be Castin'", 'To Explode Somebody', 'Buffoonery' and "(barely) Stayin' Alive".
Supercut! Yay and Aww.... I always love your Supercuts, but but, I was also looking forward to a New episode.... Such a tease guys. Thank you all for the hard work, best content online by far!😂💎💯👍💪❤️
Every time I rewatch this, it just blows me away how keen Rob is. He can take one stray word or comment and turn it into a story or character trait. If he asks you a question, think long and hard before you answer. He is listening!
Alright. I've been watching VLDL for a while now, voraciously consuming (wink) all the content I can. I very rarely comment on any UA-cam videos, but this series has inspired me to leave two separate thoughts here: Firstly, I now aim to use Godot to make a soundboard of Bodger and all his catchphrases: "Right", "I am pissed off", "I'm going to hit him...with...ma axe.", and of course "AALALALALALALALA". Secondly, I watch these with captions on so as not to disturb my wife TOO much (she never played DnD, and a group of rambunctious adults rolling dice and screaming can be a bit grating), and I have to say "chorus of dodgy didgeridoos" is one of the greatest subtitles I have ever seen. You guys nail even the closed captioning humor. Kudos, one and all!
Yes! Thanks to daylight savings time here in America, I get to watch this at 1 in the morning instead of 2 here in California. Looking forward to guys visiting and filming an episode out here. I'm sure it would be Legendary! Rowan better bring back his Californian personality from the first NPC D&D, LOL!
This has been such a great campaign. Hope you get out of the claws of the 'rona soon so we can get back to Bodger antagonizing people, Bob dying, Greg wasting his healing fluids and Baradun acting smug! Maybe a quick round of isolation games? Pretty please?
My favourite things from NPC D&D: - Exploding them from the inside - Bodger's inspirational speeches/Bodger's heartfelt connections - Bob and bodger, comin at ya. BOB AND BODGER, COMIN AT YA! - SLEEP!

Well it's official lorquin has made their move. Now the balls in robs court. You gotta make your otherworldly language be real now!
Rob looks so young at the beginning. 69 episodes of explaining how Rage works really takes its toll.
RECKLESS, FRENZIED, RAGE
He's not going to be young when they eventually get to the end of this campaign
Lol, just revisited this campaign from the beginning. Yep, Bodger aged Rob 10 years lol
WTF is rage?
Yeah I just rewatched the series.
Poor rob 😂

same here...

When it’s on harmless forest animals it’s horrifying torturing assassins fair play 😂
Watching Bob just slowly become absolutely insane is absolutely amazing content alone.
As one of the few with the same level of bad luck as Ben, let me tell you, it's not nearly as fun to play.

We should stop complimenting that wonderful genius. Hes gonna get a big head
1:04:33 Greg casting his Ray of frost is this series funniest moment imo. 😂
hahahah I have forgotten that, top anime attack sequence right there...
Gotta be one of my favourite moments haha
Bodger: "I don't want to be fighting! I wanna be diplomatic."
Also Bodger: "Lets just casually set this tent on fire for no reason!"
There was a reason, they needed to create chaos. And it sure did!
You can always count on Bodger to get the job done. He is a man of action not words.
Rob is such a creative DM, especially on the fly. I get this is for entertainment but he is also extremely patient. Lol
Yeah, agreed, and how he gets so into acting out the NPCs like the wolves and the Frog king is excellent.
Extremely, as well as lenient for new players. The first time I played the DM was ruthless and I damned near died.
It's funny to see NZ folks on about how doing an Aussie accent is funny or difficult...
When the rest of the world can barely tell the two apart 😂
Awesome, I've been waiting for an excuse to watch this series for the 85th time!
They are by far the better dnd party I dint think I would be laughing as much as I am

Bob and Greg: No kill the small ones
Me:… oh no…
This supecuts are like "before we continue, in the last episodes..."
And boom! Epic music!
I've watched a couple times now and that ending with the old man left me crying with laughter each time. "This is the worst birthday ever!"

Every time I rewatch this, it just blows me away how keen Rob is. He can take one stray word or comment and turn it into a story or character trait. If he asks you a question, think long and hard before you answer. He is listening!
I absolutely love the simplicity of the acted bits, the visualizations of gameplay are hilarious!
Ah. The memories. The first time Bob exploded something from the inside in game.
frank the old man is the real MVP of DND
being so kind to anyone, and yet treated him like a bad guy
:'D
dont forget was his birthday
Can't believe this was more than a year ago
Sheeeeeesh
It's so sweet in the first compilations how they all worry about Bob dying, instead of accepting it as a matter of course.
Alright. I've been watching VLDL for a while now, voraciously consuming (wink) all the content I can. I very rarely comment on any UA-cam videos, but this series has inspired me to leave two separate thoughts here:
Firstly, I now aim to use Godot to make a soundboard of Bodger and all his catchphrases: "Right", "I am pissed off", "I'm going to hit him...with...ma axe.", and of course "AALALALALALALALA".
By far one of the best series on UA-cam, goddamn love the d&d series 🙌🏻
i even watch this with my adblocker off,
you guys are great
UA-cam premium, mate :P
I think Baelin would be a monk with a staff (his fishing pole) if he were in a DND series...
A refreshing way to start the day. 🍻and to watch some great content from the past.🙏🏽
Thank you so much for the new Supercut! 🙌
Watching D&D hasn't been something I've enjoyed in the past but boy, this crew. Wow. Love you all!
I love those Mini-Skits like when Greg catches the attacker with his rope "this is magic, isn't it?"
"I don't want to hear the backstory"
Some time later: pisses Rob off by asking the backstory of everyone
18:57 The power of a DM
Bodger: a'right, I'll do push ups, sit ups and I'll run lapses
Saitama: I'm so proud of you
Omg I love this series so much. Best DM ever. All the voices and acting make this so enjoyable.
May I talk to you about our lord and savior Matthew Mercer?
@@Clybielike dude didn’t realize he did a D&D show! Will definitely check that out, thanks for the suggestion!
@@TimeLadyChristi you are welcome
@@TimeLadyChristi (but to be sure: Matt Mercer is not the dm in this video 😅 but also a very talented dm and awesome person)
Ngl i love these long sessions. Cant wait for super cut 3!
Crazy rewatching this now considering where the campaign is now. Seeing how Rob's grand plan starts out in this session. Mastermind at work. 🎉
Funnily enough, I’m watching this on Australia Day so the Aussie stuff is even funnier.
48:00 the comment from Rowan that redefined B.O.B and shaped story elements for the rest of the adventure.
Time to make my way to episode 69(nice) again supercut style. All my love and support go out if all of u during this absence.❤❤❤
I hope everything will be ok soon 😏 we'll be watching your carrier with great interest young VLDL 😂
Bob finally being competent and overkilling the wolf is the hero arc I've been looking for
Ben has Dutch lineage! Cool! Never knew that. Loved the episode btw
This is gold! The idiots are so funny. You just have to love Bob for being absolutely unhinged.
This has been such a great campaign. Hope you get out of the claws of the 'rona soon so we can get back to Bodger antagonizing people, Bob dying, Greg wasting his healing fluids and Baradun acting smug! Maybe a quick round of isolation games? Pretty please?
Finally watching the supercut since I am rewatching the series for the 3rd, or is it 4th, or 5th? time. You guys are phenomenal.
Stephany should definitely appear on Epic NPC Man!
Knowing that Frank was supposed to turn out to be a badass makes this whole episode that much funnier. XD
I'm bloody loving these.. started at Comp 6 got to comp 8 and have started back at beginning.... listening to these like a podcast while working
YAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!! I've been waiting so long for this. lmao I think this will be my bedtime watch? :)
So relatable when Rob said "I don't know why I was worried about having enough content to fill today's session."
Looting a giant's toe is the most Skyrim thing ever.
I thought bardic inspiration was the bards main AOE spell that inspires the whole party with morale
Omg the cut between the episodes are so well hidden
My favourite things from NPC D&D:
- Exploding them from the inside
- Bodger's inspirational speeches/Bodger's heartfelt connections
- Bob and bodger, comin at ya. BOB AND BODGER, COMIN AT YA!
- SLEEP!
finished super cut 1 and loved it and have watched 3 hours of this one so
far and loving it going to watch all the super cuts till i catch up
Guess I’ll have to watch the 1st supercut before this one ✌️😜
I can't find it? Did they upload 2 instead of 1 1st?

@@M1CK3YL33 Cheers!
Oh my, what there will be waiting at Greg's tavern when ever they get back :D
This seems to be starting out as "Revenge of the DM"...
Rewatching for the third time around...still making me laugh out loud! Love this series 👍👍
Love you guys so much you made me want to DM for a group of friends hopefully it happen soon keep up the good work gentlemen
They definitely need a healer or some healing potions.
