RIP 🌹 Barbara Jean (Jackie Z.) Her body of work on GH was phenomenal, her portrayal esp during BJ storyline was memorable, as was her early days going after Scott & against Laura, as well as her chemistry with Luke (Tony Geary) & Ruby 😢 God Speed 🕊
I began watching GH very young and I loved nurse Bobbie with the pretty red hair. She’s always been a staple of show. Bobbie had a wild life but it sounds like Jackie lived a full exciting life herself! What an amazing woman. She will be missed.
I can't believe she's gone. I was so shocked when I heard the news & been in tears since. Cancer steals another one, cancer stole my Dad & nephew too. Prayers to her daughters Lacey & Cassidy , all her family & loved ones. We all miss her. She was an incredible woman & actress. Thanks for airing this , it is real special.

I remember when she first appeared on GH as a student nurse - the writers wrote wonderful deep stories for her character and she was amazing!
She brought so much to the many facets of Bobbie Spencer, captured the feisty spirit tempered with love. We watched Bobbie on her path through the years. Never would've guessed she was anywhere near 70. Rest in peace, Jackie Zeman.

Oh no!!! My sincerest, deepest condolences to Jackie's family and friends. I started watching GH back in 78 with my mom and older sister and remember Jackie's first appearance as Bobbie. Like Steve said, I grew up with Jackie. And over the years, her portrayal of Bobbie made the character one of my favorites, mostly because of all the energy and talent Jackie brought to the character. In fact, just this weekend I was re-watching clips of her return to GH in 2013 for the 50th Anniversary, remembering how happy and excited I was to see her return. This is so heartbreaking to hear. Sending prayers to her family and both of you. She will be deeply missed.

I have watched since the 60s, as a kid. Bobby totally evolved as a character and Jackie was a great actress. This was such a shock.
My Mom started watching GH when I was 6 months old, so that would be in 1965. I remember when it was still in black and white. Jackie was a staple on that show. Sorry to hear of her passing. She had to be such a kick to work with. She will definitely be missed.

I've watched her since she started on One Life to Live and I was so happy when she wound up on General Hospital. I only met her once at a soap event in L.A. but she was so sweet and so kind definitely made a lasting impression. Jacklyn Zeman lived an amazing life and it's so heartbreaking that it was cut so short. My condolences to her daughters and her family and friends and fans around the world. Rest in peace sweet lady, we'll never forget you.❤

I lived in Englewood for 7 years, go to certain stores in Bergenfield and watched GH since a teen now 58. I hope they name a street after Jacklyn in Bergenfield. May her soul be at peace and rest. Such a shocker.

I met JZ in 1993 at the SSW at MGM in Orlando. It was like she had known me for years. So sweet and personable. Thank goodness I took lots of pics that year. I'm so shocked and sad over her passing.

Yes, GH was a must watch, so much drama with varied characters, it was my favorite and Bobbie added so much to the show. If she was in a scene you were riveted on her. I am not surprised to hear of her zest for life.
