I wasn't sure how I felt about Adam taking over the Nicholas role. However, the scenes he played with Nicholas (Spencer) with baby Ace, gave me a real insight into his portrayal of the dark prince. I think he'll do just fine! Adam had the embodiment of both Marcus and Tyler.
So impressed by Adam. You can tell he did his homework. Hearing him talking about Tyler let’s me know Nikolas is in good hands 💕
I actually teared up when yall started talking about Tyler. I appreciated that Adam watched that Nicholas and I saw it in those scenes with Spencer and Ace. That was the day I accepted Adam.
Wow!!! This was a great episode. Adam, the scene with baby. 😢 was so touching. Babies know real people with peace in their hearts.
I actually wondered if he was the real daddy.

I have totally got on board w Adam as Nicholas. It takes awhile for a new actor to make a part his own. Loved the scenes he did where Ace went right to him and cuddled. Made the storyline so beautiful and believable. Great job!

Adam is nicholas for me now. From his scenes with maura, To Nac. i loved it so much. The scenes with baby ace. Really won me over. I can't wait to see whats in store for him as nicholas.

Adam is so incredibly handsome. He is great at playing Nikolas.
Adam is such a great addition to GH. I love his interpretation of Nikolas. You can tell he really did his homework on the character because he is so natural in the role. I have enjoyed him since his first episode. Watching this interview you can tell he is a great guy as well as a great actor. I remember watching the episode he spoke about with Joey Clay (baby Ace). It was amazing to watch how comfortable the baby was with Adam. I teared up watching it and it will always be one of my favorite GH moments. I hope the show has Nikolas on more frequently so we can continue to enjoy his work.

I truly had respect and admiration for Adam when he had to step into Marcus’ shoes each time because it always were at key moments of the storylines and truly dramatic moments and each time he truly knocked it out of the park. Even though I love Marcus and miss him, I’m truly liking Adam. He’s a great actor. Oh my God, I loved the scenes with him and Joey/Ace. They were so adorable and Joey is an awesome little actor just they way he went to Adam/Nikolas and the facial expressions he made and right on cue-he’s definitely a little scene stealer.
Another great episode, thank you for getting Adam. Even though I already had respect for him, I have more for him after watching this episode.

What you said about the difference between movies and such back then as it is today with kids I think that's why they have so much depression in the world I should say much much more depression because they don't get out and fellowship with others

Adam! When you met “Baby Ace,” and his RESPONSE to you, I was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY! Now I don’t know if they used BOTH TWINS, for those scenes, but I FELT, it made it more believable, with the way he IMMEDIATELY cuddled up into your arms! I don’t know if anyone else noticed that, or felt the connection, and the way “Spencer” was so easy to let Nic take Ace out and take off with Ace. 🤷♀️🙌❤️💔

Oh Adam…replacing Tyler, especially now that he’s gone, is a tough job. But, really, the more you play Nicholas, the more you become him. Thanks for this interview! It helps me see you as Nicholas more now that I’ve listened to you about the role.
Wonderful interview. Loved learning more about Adam. I just returned to watching GH with the announcement of Steve’s impending return and have been able to see Adam in action. He’s doing wonderfully in his portrayal of Nikolas.

I was watching Bold and the Beautiful on a daily basis when Lance came on and it was very interesting how he died but I had no idea that it was this actor that played him. Wonderful soap opera beginnings and I love how humbled Adam is talking about where he got his start in acting and it is so wonderful to hear that his family was behind him 100% because not everyone is that lucky and supported in such a way. . I would always daydream about what it would be like to be on all of those 80's shows that Steve and Adam mentioned and what it would be like working on that set working with those people end coming up with Scripts in my head of my own for the next episode....😊
I did not know he was on power and I watch that when it came on lol but I'm warming up to him more he doing good as Nicolas and ik the original Nicolas is happy we love u tyler christopher we miss u 😢

Adam won me over as playing Nicholas. He is great. Loved the science when he was talking to Spencer and the way he was with Ace. I really loved Tyler playing Nicholas but feel good about Adam taking over.
Not sure Adam will read these comments (I hope so) but if he wants some camp horror I recommend Motel Hell with Rory Calhoun and Mrs Balbricker from Porky's actress Nancy Parsons. Also, American Gothic with Rod Steiger and Yvonne DeCarlo (also has a soap actress in it Fiona Hutchinson who played Gabrielle Medina on OLTL). On another note, welcome to GH fulltime Adam, it's rough to be a recast 4 times over especially to us fans who have been watching for decades! I mean I personally have been watching since 1978 before all the Luke & Laura hype (I was a fan of the Webbers & Q's which is why I tuned in). You're killing this role, the on screen chemistry between Maura and you is FIRE! Loved your scenes with Nicholas too! Can't wait until you reunite with Genie. Keep up the great work!
Motel Hell, omg….haven’t heard that movie mentioned anywhere in forever it seems. I remember me and my sister watched it, it was really late one night and it was the creepiest movie, nothing what we expected. Awesome mention!
Adam, your scenes with Spencer and Ace were heartwarming. The baby reached for you immediately. I pray General Hospital keeps you forever. In my opinion you’re the best ever Nikolas, hands down!!
What an awesome interview. It's got to be tough to come in and fill someone else's shoes, especially a character that's been around a long time, but here's Adam..just killing it. I hope they give Bradford more meaty material because he deserves it. I love the way he looks at Cody with such disdain and he nailed it when he said that he was jealous because Spinelli really does want to be back with Maxie and it would be cool to bring his lady X back since she is supposedly still dating Dr Griffin boy do I miss him as well❤

This was a fantastic interview. Thank you for doing it. I never thought I would be happy about anybody other than the late Tyler Christopher in the role. However Adam has won me over as and doing a wonderful job. I hope he stays on General Hospital for many years to come. I also enjoy his Lifetime movies so still give him time off to do those please lol
I think many of us were hoping that Tyler would come back. The writing for Marcus as Nikolas seemed off. Now the fans have to accept someone new as Nikolas and hopefully the writing is more like it was the scenes recently with Nikolas and Spencer.

I accepted Adam in the role right from the beginning from the first day I saw him. He brought powerful scenes where he would be yelling and veins popping out of his neck eyes bulging so much passion and power behind those scenes blew me away and I was hooked from the beginning. I'm like this is the Nicholas that we remember this is the Nicholas that we need to be connected to because he can be dark he can be mean and also loving and caring but passionate about whatever is going on is where you want to be and he came through with flying colors. The Passion that he put behind his work sold me. Love you man keep up the great work. I hope to see you around more often on the show❤❤

I had a hard time seeing Adam as Nicholas. Seeing him on here and showing his personality is helping. His last few appearances on GH have been much better. I think a lot was the writing. The last scene with baby Ace was great.

I’m glad people are giving Adam a chance as Nikolas. He was getting dogged. So far he’s the only actor to actually tap into what Tyler has done. What made me know he’s the one was the scene last year in the hospital with Laura. The tears and how they spoke to one another. Nikolas cries because he’s emotional, but the way Adam held it and spoke, that’s Nikolas. I hope he stays. He honors Tyler doing a good job. And yes he was on the show Power where he played Josh Kantos.

Yes loved Marcus, think they let him go cause he got Covid and was sick for a while…he did not expect to get fired !
I respect Marcus a lot and he did bring a lot to the character but it just never felt like the true dark Prince Nicholas to me like Adam makes it feel and deep down I think Marcus knew that which is why there was a discrepancy and he didn't want to film his final scenes and so Adam knocked it out of the park by miles.

I 100% agree. Tyler Christopher was the master but all Masters need to pass the torch at one point or another and if it had to be then Adam is the perfect replacement and he brings his own to the table and makes it real with such passion and vulnerability just like Tyler Christopher did.

I love Genie Francis I started watching her when she played the character of Diana Colville with a love interest with John Black on Days Of Our Lives. I didn't like the way she left though story-wise because it was out of character for her but it seems like she was ready to go anyway. It would be very interesting to have her on your podcast

I hope Adam starts playing Nickolas more like he is in this interview. More relaxed. He’s comes off stiff when he’s playing the role which makes him do weird things with his mouth. I’m not seeing any of that here. I can get on board with him as Nickolas in this case. Great interview and I’m so glad I got to see this side of Adam. Edited to say….I think Adam just won me over!
