This car is the reason I gave R.O.C.S. my '87 3.2 to work on...not to replicate; in fact, not to do anything like this Palo Alto Panamericana. The sheer artistic talent, coupled with the technical "know how", sold me. The work is second to none!
What you guys have done is pretty amazing and the fact that you let your build do the talking is even more impressive. It's a back to basics hotrod in true American style, using a German car.
Unique build, quality workmanship and cool design - - Discovered this video today, watched it twice (back-to-back) and book-marked it to watch again later!
I really enjoyed this video and seeing your car. You really nailed the look. Nothing looks out of place. It's like stepping back in time 50 years. All the components look like they "belong" in the car! Really nice work.
the body panels (front and rear bumper) are perfect for this car. simple, clean, aesthetically pleasing. not a big fan of "aging" a car for looks, but to each his own. i'm under the belief that age shows the cars history and story...you can't buy that.
As you said, It is subjective, so many tribute cars also don't have a "history", backdates, re-imaged cars etc, etc... even factory retro-designs and model name resurrections...these all fall in a very personal segment and certainly will not appeal to everyone and that is OK. This is an art car before anything else but then finely balanced with the ability to be daily driven... We tend to see things slightly different :-) Thank you for commenting.
That active aero! Such a good idea. I'll have to find someone to do that on my 87 Targa. I removed the WT for a smooth rear but this is a game changer!
Love it that you actually drive the car....hate ppl who buy them and leave them in garage...and if theres a scratch or not perfect...omg ...its a peice of junk to them...thanx for sharing
This! In an age where everything is about paint protection films, ceramic clear coats, high gloss finishes, touch screen infotainment, computer assisted drivers aids intervening every millisecond,, electronic automatic shifters, etc. etc. etc.... we are presented with a car that is built for just a singular, yet intuitively obvious purpose, to be driven.. This is what the car life is all about IMO and something I am striving to get back to. Take all the fluff and show out of the equation and get back to you & the machine versus the road. A true drivers experience in a unique car that personalized to the owner. These are the types of cars owners build and never sell. These new machines are flipped early and often because they lack the 'soul' these unique and purpose built cars possess. Well done!
After owning a 993, I was always worried about parking (I parked a mile away from other cars), pot holes and rock chips... oh the rock chips! This is awesome and would fit me perfectly. I'd probably want a newer looking interior (except the steering wheel), but the exterior is awesome. Beautiful build and smart customer who asked for this!
Don’t like the idea of a 3.6 in the early cars. To heavy, way over powered. We built a mag case 2.7 short stroke, and the car weighs 1800 lbs. Really can’t use any more than about 270 horsepower, otherwise it’s a death trap as you say.
Wow! So special and different to see, compared to the “everything perfect” class! But so much work went into it to be imperfect too, lol. Love it!!!!!! New subscriber here!!!
Brilliant, car as well as the thinking behind it. Simply stopped going to museums and most club meetings as nearly all cars are just boring relics without a history, just shiney metal objects. My cars/hobby are/is by most considered as 'ratty tatty'. Only wild & technically 100% but with leaving all its dents/scratches/holes, from former owners. Even one has a bullet hole in it (came from the US in a banana container) etc. Most (even family) ask 'when are you going to restore'... when I am just painstakingly finished getting it perfect working.... Some don't get it & as long 'real provenance' is not compromised, generating a feeling is only what matters (in my life anyway)... Great work you're doing, will look fro more of your uploads...
When we build a ROCS car we are building more than a car, each car is individually built, tailored specifically to the owner with near limitless options.
Nice car and all - but fake. :( I am all for patina. But fake patina is bullshit. If you want patina, just wait for goodness' sake! Or build it as a tribute car, and give it death, and leave it dirty.
I actually agree, it seems that at least at the time it was a way to distinguish these restomod builds, we now generally refer to them has re-imagined or restomods. Thank you !
There should be no shame in faux details - it is an art craft. Well executed and demands the respect of even the haters.

We are fortunate and grateful! Thank you so very much!

I absolutely love the look of this car ! The worn out look is perfection
This would be the third time I’ve watched this video. What a great build.
Now, that is pretty cool ! Thank you !!
and i am watching it again as I can't get enough of this car.
The headlights keep sucking me back in.
I’ve watched this video 3 times in the last hr. This is the style 911 I want. Beautiful work guys. Cheers!
watching this again.Just when you thought every possible original 911 build concept had been utilised & copied, these guys do this.Simply marvellous
15 yrs old molding P cars. I was deep into modding my Dyno VFR and Air bmx bicycles. That is awesome
Unique build, quality workmanship and cool design - - Discovered this video today, watched it twice (back-to-back) and book-marked it to watch again later!
Thank you very much, we worked very hard on this, glad you like it !
Thank you. back to back like Jordan in 96,97

Yeah - they did a great job making the patina look real, but it's kind of a turnoff to know that it's all artificial.
You can buy a brand new new beat up guitar from most companies. They call it a relic in the guitar industry. ua-cam.com/video/5xnwzUxQMv4/v-deo.html

Yep it looks cool but just another pretending car, no story behind it
That active aero! Such a good idea. I'll have to find someone to do that on my 87 Targa.
I removed the WT for a smooth rear but this is a game changer!
I'm limiting myself to one watch per week with this.......just excellent. Art and motion in perfect balance
Haha! So great to hear, thank you very much Virgil !
What a great looking car the aged look works really trick with the seats fantastic as though they were sixties and used every day since then
Brilliant build. I like everything about it. That shifter is exspecially(sic) cool. Very, very nice job, Richard!

Glad you like it, happy to build you one :-)
I like that car ...and I like that guy's idea his approach. Realy nice !
Steve, you get it... thank you sir !
We gave it more power! What brakes? what power figure? Shouldn't it have a half cage for artist reasons?
This. is. freaking. amazing.
very cool period build......that sc worked flare?...amazing... where oh where did u find a monza /momo?????
absolutely love that - awesome job
Thank you !!
Your cars look like Garagem Aurora Porsches no Porto, from the 60's and 70's. Lot's of tradition.
This is awesome! and the music just adds to the awesomeness factor haha
THAT is a drivers car, not a buffers car. wicked cool all around. i want one.
Personalized cars are hot. Even if it's not what your looking for, it allows you to view a more intimate/personal side of the owner.
Indeed, thank you for commenting!
It's pretty damn cool!
Very freaking cool! love it, rough and ready
This is absolutely divine - lovely build
Thank you Shaun !!
Love the music!
Thank you Lynnnancy
All the music are original tracks. We worked really hard with the composer. Thank You

Thank you Kris, appreciate the kind words and your assimilation of our vision!
I gotta know the front wheel/tire specs

Where did you get those seats?
Great. Loving it.
Thank you very much !
How is rocs different from normal porsche?
They do almost everything in house. When you go get your car build it is completely custom. A lot of shops just give you a options to choice from
Feeding the Tree Productions thank you
When we build a ROCS car we are building more than a car, each car is individually built, tailored specifically to the owner with near limitless options.
Not sure about those tail lights.
I don't get patina
Portugueses ?! Seria fantástico 😍
Affirmative
ROCS Auto São cá dos meus !!! Awesome job, really well done ! Mais disto !!! 💯🔥
Perfect
Thank you sir !!
uauahhhh!!! top, love it!
Reminds me of waterworld. They spent gobs of money to make all the top of the line boats and skis in movie look like junk.
This was indeed a tedious process. Thank you for commenting.
One day
do want
what can u build me for 100
We can actually do quite a bit depending on the base vehicle, feel free to email us. www.rocsauto.com
Boss love 👑 👀💓💋
You talk about real but it has a fake vintage look. There is a reason bodies are wide and have aero including wings needed
I am sure its a wonderful machine, but honestly I don't like it. Its different to have a patina because of "true" age than to age it on purpose.
Nice car and all - but fake. :( I am all for patina. But fake patina is bullshit. If you want patina, just wait for goodness' sake! Or build it as a tribute car, and give it death, and leave it dirty.
Fiberglass no no
Fucking RAD!
great car...just not a fan of the "lots of patina" look
If you do an RWB build on any Porsche.....then you deserve a place not in Heaven!
Mr. Barnes okay boomer
Judi
Gorgeous 911 but I wouldn't want the made up patina...a car will earn its stripes not given
Geez- so tired of the “outlaw” term. Nice car
I actually agree, it seems that at least at the time it was a way to distinguish these restomod builds, we now generally refer to them has re-imagined or restomods. Thank you !
nothing spectacular here, come on!!
