Absolutely amazing, your work, great video! I've been driving Porsche since 1989 and I feel it, the passion, the spirit and the mechanical things that come to life when you drive. One of my strongest impressions was buying a 911, while on vacation in the US back in 1994 I saw the 911 S on the side of the road in Flagdstaff with the sign for sale, I was hooked... and knew this was my car, I bought it and drove it through California…. And shipped to Europe Switzerland,. today I'm lucky to have a GT3 Touring and a Taycan GTS in the garage and the 911 1972 Porsche isn't just a car, it's a way of life
Why with less of you? You are part of the story - you have started it. It was a wonderful to hear about a man with a passion and this level of dedication to a restoration of a beautiful piece of history - The 911 !!! Thank you very very much, Freddie!
Passion and a hobby. Some times its wise to keep a hobby, just that ,a hobby. But a MAN needs hobbies ., I restore Sports Cars , I build Cafe racer style motor cycles, I play Blues Guitar....I am never bored. A MAN needs hobbies this guys passion and hobby turned business is "rich" Great video !
Freddie, what a great video! I work just down the street from your earlier Howe Rd., Martinez shop. Five days a week I drove by the shop and saw magic in-progress though the open bay door. Then about a year ago, you moved. But now through the Internet I can continue to see you work your magic up north in Oregon. Thanks for sharing your art with us. And yes, I drive an old 911. Take care. John
I never get tired of watching this movie Freddie, You gave this Aga Blue a second life, and I'll do my best to introduce her to our European roads :-)! Your friend, Thomas
A car is only original once... Remember that before you strip a running driving car down for a restoration. It's one thing to bring a car back to life and save it from destruction. But it's completely different to take a car that's running and original and take away the originality just to make it shiny and "New"...
If they grew up dreaming of one day owning a shiny “new” classic car then they should pursue that dream. It’s their dream, not yours. They are the ones that earned the money to buy it, not you. Focus on your dream. Don’t worry about what someone else is doing.
@@overbuiltlimited its only original once. But having said that it's not mine and the owner Can do what they want with it. That's just one of many things that makes this country great. Have at it.....
True, but after 60 years you have a leaky engine, useless suspension and rust. It’s hard to call that original because that wasn’t how the car left the factory. Replacing worn out bits with new Porsche parts is perfectly fine.
the attention to detail is nourishing. refreshing.
