I grew up on this music! It is very nice to see a younger generation appreciate the talent here. This whole album is great, but then I would be hard pressed to name a bad album by him.
Time, awesome. Probably their best cut. This is the kind of song you listen to laying on your back on the floor, late at night, with your headphones on and your eyes closed. It's an experience.
Tbf, he was an assistant engineer on Abbey Road and Let It Be. I think he was mainly just a tape operator and had no input on the production. He was lead engineer on Dark Side and so is responsible for the recording quality of that record and he probably had some production input as well.
It's hauntingly beautiful. One of my favorites. I remember when it came out on the radio in the early 80's. Still makes me cry. It's nice to see someone else appreciate it's beauty. This is the kind of music we boomers grew up with.
...And to think that a song like this was readily available for all to hear on radio stations across the country. We didn't have to dig for it. We didn't have to search high and low for it. It was just there, for all to appreciate. Times have definitely changed. Thanks for this reaction.
Jus Jammin's reactions are always respectful, little to no pauses. I'm still waiting for the Reactor Awards, so these hard working guys can get their props. Ppl don't realize it takes a lot of work to create these videos.
Those guys are production geniuses.Thank you. Nobody seems to react to Alan Parsons Project "Time",and it is so absolutely brilliant and beautiful. A little while back my daughter heard" Time" on the radio ,and she called to talk to me about hearing it. I always shared the songs I love with my kids and grandkids now my greatgrands. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.
This song makes me wonder if it got some inspiration from Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon, with similar arrangements and a song also titled Time. I always loved this though.⏲☮💜
Young people like beat, but melody wins. Sorry but it does. I'm glad that young people look back to see what's out there and realize that music began a long time ago. Good luck explorin'

A sublime classic. Time stands still for 5 minutes. You disappear.
*"I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You"* is another class Parsons track.

His production is top notch. Alan helped produce 2 Beatles albums, Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon”, and Ambrosia’s first album.
I knew about ELOs earlier albums were produced by Alan but never knew ambrosia as well need to check that out thanks for the info
He also did Al Stewart's album: "Year of the Cat".

Thank you for your thoughtful reaction, and for listening all the way through. Wonderful
Can’t believe I missed this reaction. This one always gets me in my feels. Thanks 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥

I think young people desperately need to hear music of the past to feel something.
I was 10 years old when the song came out and I absolutely loved it. Still absolutely love it today❤ Alan Parsons Project is so talented
I haven’t heard this in years. Loved this.
Sublime song. Haunting chord progression and arrangement. RIP Eric Woolfson.
This is a masterpiece! Glad you reviewed it.
Such a beautiful song ❤🙏

Wow, when I put "first time hearing" in my YT search today and "Time" came up, I rushed right over here! THIS IS AWESOME! I'm just sayin'. 😊
Beautiful and worthy reaction to this. 💋 Thank you.
Thank you too!
Your brief interaction together with these comments made me sigh a happy little sigh. Don't mind me, I'll just see myself out...
Such a good album!
They have a ton of great songs try dammed if I do and games people play
Production may be off the chain but it's 10x better live! There're a couple clips with live orchestra, I think it's Brazil or Madrid, FANTASTIC
The one for Chile was awesome especially with the orchestra playing.
