It's a song about the band and their dynamics. Sometimes they can't get along with each other, but certainly not without each other. The band has been on the verge of breaking up more than once, but they always got together again. But they have sworn one thing to themselves, if one ever quits, everyone will. There will be no replacements or anything else. All for one and one for all. Regarding the video, I can say that there is a so-called death zone when climbing some mountains. This means that if injuries occur in this zone, any help is excluded. This means that you can't get back or forward in time to get help and you certainly can't transport the injured person anywhere. In this case, you should leave the injured person behind so as not to die yourself. Till in the video is such an injured person. Help is out of the question and it is already clear after the fall that he will die. His comrades then decide to fulfill his last wish and take him to the top of the mountain. All together.

Regarding the quitting thing. They even took it up a notch. They made a contract, that if one of them quitts, none of the other bandmembers can ever play any of their song again live or use it on an album.
Song and Video came out of a time, where the Band had serious trouble after Till Lindemann (Singer) made a Video for the Song "Mutter" all by himself without the participation of the other members. Might sound strange, but the Band has in its "constitution", that every discission has to be made by all the Members equaly. 5 yes, 1 no means no...
Nice, calm Rammstein Song! 👍 But I don't think the Video for the Song is so fitting! I would have liked something different and more fitting to the Lyrics. Anyway, I can't do anything with this Video for the Song.
