I can only imagine myself being in her class and being the bitter classmate that's like "ugh why is she such a try hard" and then going home and crumpling my craptastic poster in the bin and crying myself to sleep with insecurity. You inspire me to be a better student, even in Uni! Even more than that, I'm learning to be a better person, and instead of making fun of someone better than me because I'm jealous, I feel like I would react differently and ask to better myself instead. Making a better world one video at a time, study quill! XD
studyquill please could you maybe do an entire video on faux calligraphy/ how to write like it because you've done snippets that are easier than any others and I'm trying to learn ✨ found your channel at 3am last night 😂💕
"To kill a mocking bird" is actually a really great book, I'm thirteen and read it like six months ago and it had really a deep message even though it doesn't seem like it first. The book really touched me on a personal level and I would *definetely* recommend it to people who like this kind of literature :)
fearlessfoxyroxy I would suggest going into your studying with an open mindset. Some people might be intimidated by Math just because there's a preconceived notion that it is hard. But, it doesn't have to be. You will hear this over and over again but the best way to study math is to practice it. I suggest that when you are going through each chapter, write down important formulas on a separate sheet of paper and call this sheet your "cheat sheet/formula sheet". Once, you've finished a chapter, try the practice questions. While doing the practice questions, consult your cheat sheet. As you do more practice questions, you'll notice that you use the formulas enough that you don't need to look at your cheat sheet anymore. Be creative! You can put anything on your cheat sheet. You can even look at youtube videos on topics you need further clarification on (KhanAcademy or Patrickjmt are good channels here on youtube) and you'll see that some people's way of teaching will make a difference on your understanding. Try to find the best way to learn by using the internet too! don't just rely on your teachers. I'm doing an actuarial math major in university and these tricks have been helping me a lot. I hope this helps you, too! :)
In my opinion, practicing is the best way to study maths! Sure, you do need to know the theory too. But practicing helps you see what you don't quite understand properly yet, and it will help you solve your problems quicklier on tests. Practice makes perfect. (Or at least better. No need to be perfect.)

it depends on what you’re studying for. if it’s a test based on chapters in a textbook, definitely go over that textbook multiple times, write out how to do the questions and do as many questions as you can, until you feel comfortable doing that sort of questions. if it’s a big exam e.g. igcse maths, do as many past papers as you can!! if it’s just revision, again, just go over your textbook and do some example questions
i used to be a VERY diligent and hard worker in middle school. i have no time but study hard all the time, and i love it. and yeah, that was my 'golden ages'. but now in high school, i lost my motivation and confidence bec. of my mental health, and ended up as a VERY lazy person. but, i saw a light from your videos. thanks
I watch these to get motivation to study! I messed up my year and might not make it :( but, i really want to show the teachers I try and hopefully they'll give me another chance :) love ur videos
You really inspire me to be a better student, I do procrastinate a lot and watching your videos where you get so much homework done I wish I could get it so
I love all of your study with me videos but this one is by far my favorite. They inspire me every time to do my homework and work towards my goals. Thank you 💕 you're amazing
beyhive killa i can say right now, all it takes is a change of mindset. i slacked off so hard first semester and didnt care about school. i realized i didnt want to be getting C's and D's. i pushed myself and I'm already doing SO much better within about a month. trust me all it takes is that! also, maybe getting some nice supplies will help you be more motivated. it's easier to start fresh with a new semester/school year but it's never too late to change bad habits!
beyhive killa one thing i was forced to do was think about WHY i am a procrastinator. I always thought it was because i am just lazy but i really thought about it and i have a fear of failure as ironic as that seems. It's easier to fail at something and blame it on my me not giving it my all, versus failing at something I gave my all. Other reasons for me are comparison (being that I am a twin and I'm usually the one who doesn't measure up). Other causes for others could be feeling like they don't deserve success, low self esteem, emotional baggage. Find that reason and deal with it. It's not really because you're lazy.
beyhive killa ^^i agree with the two comments above, because i remember living like that. pushing school away and consuming myself in anything else. i couldn't find the motivation till i found the study community on social media. i realized i didn't want to be failing student. i knew i had to push myself and stay firm on it or i would slump back into the lazy slacking student i once was. and remember- just because you've started moving doesn't mean you can stop pushing the pedals.
amazing! your videos really inspire me to work harder in school, because i was always the girl who would um.. i guess play? when exams are coming and now i wanted to work harder! thank you! ♡
thank god I found you. Your videos are gonna be my motivation for my last school year next year! wow awesome videos... could you make a tutorial on taking notes or how to make pretty headlines? :)
I was wondering if you have any tips for studying French? I'm always looking for fresh ideas on top of my grammar drills and flash cards. I love your videos so much. they definitely help keep me motivated (and make me wish I could be as creative with my notes)
OMG i'm reading To Kill A Mockingbird right now! Its definitely a very good book. Takes me awhile to read but I'm annotating at the same time so it's pretty interetsing and fun :)
