Nicely done! I like your approach of showing the tool with large, obvious steps to demonstrate the operation and then some real examples, without tediously taking us through an extensive example. Now I understand the selective adjustments better, not just copying the steps. Thanks!
I'm currently using a trial version that is supposed to be fully functional however, the hue is available in the local adjustments but the temperature and tint is not available. Is this because of the trial? If not, what gives?
Could it be that you're using the Windows version? The Mac version has some advanced features, though not many, which the Windows version lacks. The good news is that via updates most of those functions tend to finally make their way into the Windows version after some time. Coming from Lightroom, I've gone through various Windows iterations of OpticsPro/PhotoLab (Elite) over the years and have found it a highly intuitive and powerful piece of RAW editing software, particularly for subtle and natural-looking edits. Head over here to see some of my results: needacreate.smugmug.com/. The b/w conversions were done with Silver Efex Pro, which is part of the DxO Nik Collection.
I learnt a lot from this video. Whoever’s the narrator is a great teacher, he explained everything well.

Functionalities are getting there. I’d like to see opacity slider with the new layers. And I’d like to see NIK edits on a layer in PhotoLab.
