Millennials too. In Rainbows came out my freshman year in college. None of my friends paid for it but we downloaded it at 12 am and listened all night.

Jigsaw is my favorite. I overlooked it for about 8 years of being a Radiohead fan and then in 2018 it finally clicked and has been in my top 3 ever since
This was my first time listening to this album in probably about 2 years and so when I said "it's a good song" when it started, I didn't remember it being anything special, and then I heard the humming at the beginning and I was like "ok ya this song is goated"
Nothing worse than a man that's scared and insecure to feel or express.

By the time I get to Phoenix would be a funny follow-up, contrasting in rainbows softer acoustic songs with the very harrowing, Smokey songs Phoenix made. Both two of some of my favourite albums.
Definitely follow with Phoenix. It would be great to see your dad reacting to that along with the lyrics.

Bro no way House Of Cards is also my favourite song by Radiohead. I really wish people would appreciate it more, like the atmosphere of this song is so other-wordly, so ethereal yet so calming and relaxing it's incredible. Really happy to know you also love it!

Its a great record, but there are definitely some really unconventional, even hard to listen to moments.

Hey, boys, I enjoyed this video you did wholeheartedly. It cheered me up, because I wondered, "What am I doing here?" K-dawg, your dad seems like he's back to being cool, and that's nice.
Actually, the moment in the video when your dad adjusts his microphone up high in the mix the sound he makes with the mic sounds as good to my ears as Radiohead sound, and I enjoy Radiohead, of course. Just sayin'. In my life, lots of my friends have been Radiohead fans and when it comes to In Rainbows time after time they have made it confusing for me, like I just don't get it.
(Maybe I don't get it. But I do. I've listened to it dozens of times as a young man--I want to hope I got it).
You're the first boy who explained In Rainbows to me in a way I understand (despite earlier experiences). I was a lot less confused this time. No surprises.
Let's see some more fine videography from Kyle Reid. Even if you just toss in the odd review of a record that left me dazed and confused I would be perfectly content to continue licking your bootstraps. At ease, gentlemen!

YOOO Kyle I also love House of Cards. People often pick it as the worst song on the album since it's slow I guess, but I always loved the atmosphere of the track, and the lyrics and vocals are fantastic.

Last year I was a student in Canada, my English teacher used to study in the same uni as Thom Yorke, he actually didn't know who he was during his studies, rather one of his ex classmates mentioned Thom Yorke and Radiohead, and in surprise my teacher says "Oh the very shy guy at college?" I don't think he likes Radiohead though...
Also I heavily recommend an album for you and your dad, listen to Bocanada by Argentinian rocker Gustavo Cerati, the lyrics might be nonsense because they're in Spanish, but the music is perfect mix of latino beats and rock music

after a wild ride through a lot of music in the past 2-3 years (20 yr old), I can confidently say black midi, radiohead, king crimson, and frank zappa are my favorite bands/artists rn, probably not in that order. How do you get around the copyrights for playing music on UA-cam?
That's the reason why these videos are so cut up and the music is quiet. Anything more than a 9 second snippet of a song, UA-cam can pretty much recognize. It helps if you're talking over the music and the volume of your voice is louder than the music. I always upload the first cut to see what gets copyrighted and the adjust accordingly. Takes me a few tries each video lol
