Open a window? Really?! It's -2 degrees outside. It's so cold all the moisture has been frozen out of the air and causing it to cling to every surface. It turns the outside into a beautiful flocked world with glitter sparkling everywhere. It also increases my cat's silhouette by 3 time his normal size. A humidifier might give me an extra 5-10% humidity on a good day. In the last 24 hr humidity has hovered between 18-22%. I gotta do something though, the cat shocked the dog from 8" away this morning. Neither were pleased. From the look they gave, they blame me. The mousturizer works really good on humans, been using that for years. Im going to try the hanger thing on my clothes. My animals are all rescues, the 150lb dog was severely abused by the bastards that had him before. A hanger would freak his furry ass out. Maybe aluminium foil?ill give it a try. The only thing I have found that makes any real difference is keeping water boiling on the stove. That isn't an economical or green fix. I'm so tired of being dry, itchy, and flaking.
