I go over a few specific methods that you can use to ensure that your clothing doesn't give you any more shocks. These are simple things that can be done on a regular basis with all of the clothes in your closet or just with specific articles of clothing that are more prone to shocking you with static!

I have a wall heater and that seemed to work the best for me. My shirts have been getting really statically lately. I hear those moth ball things work if you don't like dryer sheets.

Moisturizing your hands and body, with lotion, works wonders! But, mixing 50/50 downy liquid laundry softener or similar with water, and spray the mixture, to your clothing, bedding, fabric car seats, will take the ZAP, out of your day! You’re welcome! Aloha808

Hardly any of this is true. You can put lotion all over your body but I guarantee you you take a fleece lined pullover and it is going to look like a thunderstorm while you're putting it on if you turn all the lights out when it's dark. Also we use 90% metal hangers and still have a ton of static. Touching a piece of metal does not get rid of the static as soon as you move around a little bit or try to remove that piece of clothing it will recharge immediately. Don't take my word for it go try it.

FN genius instead of putting dryer sheets with damp clothes just rub dryer sheets on the clothes you're going to wear at a time!!
