- My objective for this channel is to share with others what I have learned over the last 30+ years about living and eating healthier. I share my knowledge with my small circle of friends all the time. I am not a doctor, nor do I hold any type of medical degree, but I believe that my tried experiences may help someone else.
For over 30 years I have used every diet imaginable to lose weight, but I confess that I am now at home using the vegan lifestyle. I want to share what I have learned about eating and enjoying food. And, since I am still learning how to be more consistent with this lifestyle, I have decided to eat more healthily, realizing the weight will come off eventually. Though I have not reached my goal weight, I know that sharing with other people in front of a camera with help me to stay on course.
I have, with the help of my husband of 37 years, raised 3 grown children. I will also share some cooking shortcuts as well as some natural formulas I have used and still use for everyday problems.

Oh, Lona...I just saw your comment. I appreciate you taking the time to leave it. This tip worked so well for me, I just had to share it. Try it for yourself and see what happen. 😉
Miraculous! I'd rather do this than spray a bunch of chemicals on my clothes! Thank u! ❤️
These tips are genius. Thank you.
I have a dress I made when I first learned to sew that I don't want to get rid of, but I made bad choices about the fabric and it's been a clingy nightmare since I made it. Maybe I'll be able to wear it now?
I sure hope you have gotten the chance to try and this tip and that it worked for you, Shona. Are you wearing that dress you made that was so "staticky?" 🤔
Wow! I have had the same question, thank you!!!!🙂
This really works for me Karen, I hope it will for you as well. Thanks for your comment.
Good idea, I’ll try it, thanks. I’ve used lotion on my hands and then rubbed my legs and/or arms and that seems to help a little.
The dress I used in the video was always clinging to me; even an slip didn't help. But these simple tricks, especially the hanger works so well for me so I had to share it. Hope it gives you good results as well.
This was so helpful! I’m packing for a trip and I couldn’t get the static out of a dress I’m bringing.
Without chemicals! I am going to try it.
I just did it on my pants ...THANK YOU SO MUCH! It worked in less than 20 seconds ❤️
I am so delighted to hear that 6ixpak. I had looked for help with this problem for a very long...ad you didn't have to 👍🏽😊
Trying this now❤ thank you!!!
Thank you for this tip, I’m going to try it on a scarf!
Please do and let me know what happens, Lauren. It really worked for me on this dress and another one, as well.
Kind thanks to you for sharing your comment
😊🧣
Better to use something metal. 🤭
You just saved my outfit. Thank you.
I tried it on my satin jogging pants and it worked; thank goodness I didn’t throw out all of the wire hangers from my home just yet ♥️
💃🏾
I’ve got s satin dress too, i hope it works for me
@@cynthiahoyi3925 I hope so. Give it a try. Let me know if it does...or doesn't 😔. I'd like to hear from you either way...okay? Have a joy-filled day. 😀

You're welcome, Mr. Crowley. All I can say is that this worked for me and I hope it works for you as well. 🧷😊
It worked right away but as soon as I put it back on and started walking, it took a charge again. I think I need to get cotton or wool socks.
Thank a mill
I love you 💕 your videos are amazing.
I am so glad. I learned this little gem awhile ago but I had to share it. Thank you for taking the time to leave me your comment. I do appreciate it, Dena. 😊

OMG you are amazing
U R A GENIUS THANKKKKUUUUUUUU
I receive your kind words but only if you'll understand that l just share what l have found works for me. Thanks so much, Gloria.🥰👗
Awesome 👍
It really is and a little unbelievable but it has worked for me many times, Thomas. Thanks for your comment. 👍🏾
I'm going to try this. Every time I switch on my kitchen light in winter I get a shock. I've been using a wooden spoon to avoid skin contact. Maybe the problem is my flannel winter blouse?
Could be that flannel blouse. Try this and let us all know if it helps. Thanks for your comment.
I've noticed that cotton flannel builds up way less static cling than polyester flannel, so keep an eye out for that too.
“No wire hangars!!” -Joan Crawford.
Haha I don’t have a wire hangar.
Sorry, perhaps the nearest dry cleaners can give you one. Thanks for your comment. 😊
Change your softener that worked for my joggers! I bought a new fabric softener and oh my God I was charged with electricity my trousers were at half mast! It was like my budgie had died haha!
Thanks so much. I have tried too many softeners to mention. But I honestly appreciate your comment. 😊
yes it worked thank you
I am so thankful for that, Thomas. I appreciate you letting me know so that others can read about your success! 😊
Ok I need help. I have a beautiful dress but it gets static when I wear it. I put pins inside and they don't work. I can't exactly go about my day carrying a hanger for everytime it gets clingy with static again. Should I get another fabric sewn onside it? Because it's basically the same material as the inside material we have in dresses. Otherwise I have no idea what could work, I feel it's helpless
Honestly, Ismene, I don't know what else you could do. I am so sorry. 😔 I just did a search and read that a fabric CONDITIONER will help with the cling. White vinegar sprayed/misted on the dress if the fabric can take that. Otherwise, I just cannot tell you anything else. Again, I am so sorry.
Wow
Thx so much 4 this
You're welcome, Fatoomi. It works for me. I hope it helps you as well. Thanks so much for your comment. 😊
ThankYou ❤️
You're quite welcome, r4y83! Have a wonder day. 😊
Thank you 🙏🇺🇸🇩🇴
💖💖💖💖💕💕💕💕💕💕💖💖💖💖💖 Stopped video to try out this hack. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 IT WORKS!💖💖💖💖💖💖💃🕺 Thanks! 😇
I am so happy this worked for you. It has worked well for me as well. Thanks so much for your comments and enthusiasm 😊 💃🏾
Great idea! I always put lotion on my legs, and lotion my hands really good, then rub them over each pants leg or dress.... thx 😉
I am sorry for the delay with responding to your comment. I am so so glad I saw it. Let me know if your use this 'static remover' tip. I would like to hear what happens, Lois. Thanks for sharing🥰
THANKS
thank you! :)
You're so welcome, Javier. This works well for me; I hope it will for you, as well. 😊
I'm trying this on my polyester coat, but it doesn't seem to be working 😭
Any hair spray
👍👍👍
Hi, Mrs Berta Jay. Thanks for your tip. But l couldn't resist saying how gorgeous you are.
You're welcome and you are so kind, Belbras. No one has ever said I was gorgeous before! Those are truly humbling words for me. Thank you. Have a productive and calm day😊
It really worked
That's awesome ♡
I hope it works for you as well as it has worked for me. Thanks so much for your comment, Erin. I hope your Thanksgiving was happy and the day after glorious. 😊
@@bertajay I will use it, you as well thank you 💕
@@erinleary5873 Very good, Erin 😊
Does this keep it like that while you're wearing it though? I feel like I could do this but then the static just comes back while wearing and it gets all clingy to the skin again
That's my thoughts, it's terrible when you get up and the contour of your bum is there for all to see. At my age it's even more embarrassing. I don't have a wire hanger but I'll give the pins a try. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia 72yrs
The hairspray trick wirks the best
Tell me more about how you use the hairspray, Lolly🤔 because as you tell me others will read your comment and be helped and blessed also. Thanks for sharing. 😊
@@bertajay i just turned the dress inside out and gave the skirt part a light spray. I would suggest using hairspray that doesn't have much smell if that type of thing bothers u, i used my kerastase hair spray and the smell was to over powering, but it worked.
@@lollyb8808does the hairspray leave watermarks onnthe dress and how long did it work until it started to cling again? Thanks ❤
I tried it on my skirt for choir because I needed it to stop being staticky and it worked but I picked it up five minutes after doing the hanger hack and it was staticky again so Idk what to do
I put safety pins on the hem and side seams, also. Try doing that as well; then, do the hanger swipe again and see if that lasts. It really does work for me. Let me know, Hydro.
Ok thanks 😊
Thank you👍
You are so welcome, Nicholas. A simple little tip that works for me. 😊
@@bertajay yeah, and it works like a charm. My shirt was sticking to me like cling wrap.
@@nicholasstephenson573 hahahahaha😄! I know what you mean, Nicholas. This works...I hope others will try it. Thanks for sharing your very positive experience. 🙂
💕💕💕
It works
I bet you never had this problem before synthetic fabrics became popular.
Will it help me to stop getting zapped from my car? Dang it . Every damn time.
Hi Berta, you are a very lovely lady. I like your videos.
Thank you so much, Guan. I appreciate your kind words. I do really enjoy what I do. I am so glad you are enjoying what you see. I do hope my videos are useful to you. Stay safe and keep watching. 😊
Does a magnet work
I really don't know 🤔 l have never given that a try. How exactly are you thinking a magnet would be used?
My mum said thank you
Tell you mum that she is welcome, MrOwen. 😊
She seems like a sweet lady
😯😯😯😯😧😧😧
Thanks!!!
You're welcome...it has worked for me many times. Thanks for your comment. 👍🏾
i like u madam. thanks for sharing
Thank you so much, pearl. I enjoy sharing the little l know hoping it will help someone else. Gla ssd's it has helped you 👍🏽😊
Do you put several pins on the clothing?
I am sorry about not seeing this comment. but I did put a few safety pins in the seems of the dress. I hope that helps you. Thanks for your comment. 🙂
how do you use hairspray for this?
Sorry about that, Sabbath. What you do with the hairspray is turn your garment inside out and just spray it, then let it dry. That's suppose to work. It didn't really work for me. It might for you. 😏
Whaaaaaat
I KNOW...right!? This has worked for me a number of times. Just be patient and keep swiping that metal hanger over the garment. Try it please, Jenna.
Thanks for your comment. 😊
