    If I'm not mistaken I thought Bonnie's mom said, "Clyde had my daughter in life but, he wont have her in death." That's why she's not buried with him.

      Or he may not be berried with bonny due to separate graves as there there may not be room for her next to him in the grave or on top of his coffin. Unless there's no one in Clives grave plot with him, then they could of worked it out if bonny could of been laid to rest in the same plot as him. Or unless there families want them to be separate from each other in heaven or hell.

    Buck Barrow, and W.D. Jones killed my great great uncle Alma Town Marshal Henry D. Humphrey. I have had the opportunity to see where it happened, where they shot at the deputies and found some of the bullets from the guns they used. I’ve followed this story my whole life because my family always talked to me about it. I got into law enforcement because of him. I retired as police chief after over a decade. Knowing where they shot him, seeing his police report, and photos of the incident

    My grandfather was an Ice Man during this time. He delivered ice to the funeral homes of both Bonnie and Clyde. He told me that most of the people who came for the viewings, were seen spitting on the bodies as they passed them. People who cheered their escapades while they lived, now turned on them in death with the ultimate insult; spitting on their remains.

      That's really sick and evil because Clyde was raped as a young man while in jail for only returning a rental car late. The guards let it happen and abused him themselves. That's why he started trying to get even with the law and society. The first time he killed a man, the man had shot at him first. Bonnie never actually killed anyone. My Grandfather hung out with them at Rex Beard's house in Wichita Falls while they were being hid out there. Their story has been twisted so much that only few people know what really happened. They were extremely poor kids who made some bad choices that spiraled out of control. They didn't deserve to have people spit on their dead bodies....makes me sick.

    • @alynsak
      @alynsak 3 роки тому +19

      @@sherstone They also killed several people. As horrible as it was for what happened to clyde as a young man, it doesn't excuse his choices. Plenty of people are sexually assaulted and don't go on a murder spree. That's never an excuse. Bonnie and clyde knew what they were doing and enjoyed it. They didn't have sympathy for the people they murdered, so why do they deserve any, even in death?

It was a pink building in a state of disrepair. The grounds looked like a rattlesnake haven and the weeds were high. There was an old man living in a trailer next to it. I took a small chuck of pink concrete that had fallen off because it looked like it would soon be torn down. So glad to see it was restored.

      Same the whole world over. The masses are fascinated by who they're told to be fascinated by in media. Who the media hypes and gives the oxygen of publicity to, gets the public's interest. But Sheep also have a peculiar set of standards. If somebody rapes, they're the lowest of the low, but if they murder, even torture, the more they kill and the more evil they become, the greater an idol they can be turned into by the media. But then the same sheep will bemoan how supposedly evil and warlike man is, like they've never taken a look at their own idols. It's really odd. I think some people are a blank slate the media can shape with their fiction, however contradictory the message.

It is restored to the way it was and there's a bullet hole in the closet wall from Clydes accidental discharge and there's also knife marks on the floor where Clyde was bored throwing knives into the floor. The bathtub is still the original bathtub that was there when Bonnie and Clyde was here, yes you can bathe in the tub that they bathed in themselves. Schifferdecker Park Museum has some of there belongings they left plus the original door with 22 different bullet holes in it. About 20 minute drive from Joplin is Commerce Oklahoma where they killed their last victim before they themselves were killed. If y'all make it to Joplin I can shoot you my email and we can meet up and I'll buy y'all dinner, big fan of 2! You remind me of my best friend who I lost 13 1/2 years ago. I'm from NJ... border of NY not far from where Grimm collective did Sleepy Hollow area tour along the Hudson River by the Tappan zee bridge..I'm in Joplin Missouri area a lot..if Grimm collective did Bonnie and Clyde hideout.. there's also a really cool old brothel that is haunted in Galena Kansas up the road.. like 8 minute drive on the main street by the Bonnie and Clyde shotgun pawn shop who owns the authentic Clyde shotgun...they have a lot of knowledge about Bonnie and Clyde. Anyway..the brothel was where miners would go way back when..and they'd be murdered and robbed there and bodies thrown into the mine shaft. It's really haunted and a very cool old town... Grimm collective would enjoy that part of route 66. Very cool 😎. Also not too far from there is Oklahoma where NY Yankees Mickey Mantle grew up.. Commerce Oklahoma...and Bonnie and Clyde shot a police officer dead there as well..this is all along old route 66 which all can literally be done in a day and there's cool old motels in the area with a ton of history and fun and cheap to stay at... they should do it. You can even see real live bison behind the downstream casino in Kansas not far from Joplin Missouri as well. It's cool how the three states there so close together. So much history I love it

      I have family in and around Joplin. I've been in that town many times. Even lived in a small town in KS about 20 minutes west of there. I've been to Shifferdecker Park many times. Didn't know about the museum, though. I've also never been to the house where Bonnie and Clyde stayed. I'm so hoping to go up there again with my fiance (probably husband by then) to visit family and show him some of the places I used to go with family as well as places damaged by the tornado. While we're up there, I'd love to see the place B&C were. We're both into history & historical locations. That would definitely be a cool place to visit.

    It was nice to see your take on this. I live in the area. My Mother In Law's sister knew the family while she lived here in Dallas. That area you were in where the station is is called Oak Cliff. She attended a special school here & got to know the family while living here before he became America's most wanted. Clyde also escaped from the Waco jail which is 100 miles south of Dallas, Waco is my hometown. My mother in law grew up in Will's Point, Tx. When she was little her dad came home to hitch up his team. He told them about a couple that he was helping them out of the mud on the nearby road. Being in the 30's they had no media. It wasn't till the killing of Bonnie and Clyde that her dad was able to identify them as the couple he helped out of the mud on their way to Louisanna . My dad as a young boy worked at hid dad's general store and they made furniture & he load two of their special chairs into their car not knowing who they were at that time. Good job. There is a huge cemetary in North Dallas that has a lot of celebs. Hope you come back sometime.
