When Ted Bundy was 3, he went near his 15 year old sleeping aunt, he placed 3 butchering knives beside her and grinned as she wokeup. She felt weird, and shooed him away outside her bedroom. Later she went and told Bundy's mom about, they shrugged it off.

I have also been reading about Lynda Ann Healy ( his first known murder victim ) and am amazed that Ted walked into a house with 4 other girls and walked away with Lynda after dressing her up in new clothes at night. Noone heard from Lynda again ! Do a video on her if you can - I am very heartbroken for all the victims. It is all very sad.

What's really freaky and can be seen in comments online, the state park where Kimber leaches body was discovered in the old pig pen has a campground in that state parks in which residents have reported super Natural activity suspected to be from Kimberly around the campground. It is not a favorite campground by many so it is one of the Lowest prices per night of any state park in Florida. I travel a lot in my small RV with it being really cheap anywhere from 10 to 13 a night with electric, water,, bathroom showers and what ever recreational activities eack park offers (except rainbow river state park which is $16 a night or any in the Florida keys which is $18 a night on my military discount to state parks here. It is not a state park I prefer for that reason alone may she rest in peace.

I read the book on the Kimberly Leach case. It's more disturbing than people realize. The police think he was violating her, then they think he slit her throat during the act. She died a very violent, nightmarish death! Horrible!! They also found a lot of blood in the van. Also, there were two witnesses who saw Bundy with her. The first was a fireman who was going home to change clothes and he saw Bundy leading the child away from the school. She did look upset and the fireman thought it was a father picking up his child. Kimberly had a football jersey on with her name on the back and they theorize that is how he lured her into the van. He probably called her by her name, then might've told her there was an accident with her family or something. Maybe that's why she was crying. The other witness was a lady driving behind the van (stolen from the university in Tallahassee) and she witnessed Bundy screaming at someone in the van, almost as if they were on the floor of the van. She said he looked pissed when he was screaming at whoever it was that was on the floor of the van. I wish they could of saved her! Poor child! I cannot imagine how frightened she was! He was an absolute monster!!!

My understanding is that the murderer refused to "discuss" this particular victim. Yet, he was willing to discuss others. I wonder if he realized his evil nature and what he did to her (and the others) would "awaken" a necessity for punishment for his sins? Like many of you, I often wonder what strikes fear in the hearts of murderers?
We assume he was an atheist. But I wonder how he (and other murderers) can be SO SURE? At some point, close to their own death, they must wonder what awaits them. If there is judgment for their crimes, it would be the worst imaginable result. When Leventry Beria (Stalin's chief murderer) was told he would be shot, he immediately collapsed into tears and begged for his life. Naturally, he feared being shot in the head.
But he also had to be thinking about what awaited him on the other side. THAT would be a good reason to beg for his life.

Literally at the last hours, Ted was wailing and praying. He had acknowledged Christ as Lord and was actually confessing as a way to cleanse himself. (It started off as bones-for-time, but as one tends to be faced with their own mortality, fear strikes, and it turned to repentance). A lot of people don't want to believe this, being who he was, and what he did, but Ted is at peace and is healed now of this sickness. @@sanjosemike3137

I wouldn’t feel bad in anyway about what you’re documenting simply because these victims and their stories should never be forgotten. You bring to light the reality of what so many of us have only seen in the news and the movies. This is a good thing. My son being a retired New York State Correction Officer had over watched Mark David Chapman (John Lennon’s killer) at Wende Correctional Prison, the Son of Sam David Berkowitz in Attica Prison along with the transport of Richard Kuklinski (the Ice Man) and many more. He said within the last few years Attica Prison covered up most of the bullet holes from the uprising.

22:00 -- it wasn't actually a faulty alarm system. The back entrance of Chi Omega had a sliding glass patio door with a broken lock/latch on it that didn't always catch -- it led out to the rear of the building & a parking area, & tons of people went in and out that way without always checking the lock. And The Oaks wasn't really a halfway house, it was just a typical '70s on/off-campus boarding house

Appreciate you guys doing these, as you called it, "silly little documentaries," lol. It's not silly - as you said, you're covering history. And with history, it's important to remember it. It's also important to remember these poor souls that this monster murdered back in the day. You're both utterly respectful in each and every one of your videos of property and others, and that's commendable as well.
I grew up in Texas and remember Henry Lee Lucas's rampage well. I also clearly remember the morning Ted Bundy was executed; I was driving to college for class and the local morning radio show on the rock station was having a lot of fun with electricity SFX and the like. It was like a celebration when he was finally put down, and rightfully so. Thank you for your thoughtful and interesting coverage.
One more thing - you guys are probably aware of this now (this video was four years ago after all), but in real estate, you do not have to tell people if some horrific crime happened on the premises. If they ask, and you know the answer, it's my understanding you do have to let them know. I don't know how this works for dorm rooms or renters but I'd hazard to guess it's similar. My thought is, they'd rather keep people in the dark than tell them "oh by the way, Ted Bundy killed someone in this room...welcome and have a good night!" It would be interesting to see how many college-age kids nowadays have knowledge of these events, or if they're utterly clueless.
I'd also wonder if the place is haunted.

Great video, Michael and Jessica, however, I'd like to point out that Ted Bundy was on the run from the police in Colorado when he was in Florida. He had escaped from the jail in some place called Greenborough Springs, Colorado through a broken light fixture in the ceiling of his cell. Apparently, Ted Bundy had lost 35 pounds to do it.

This seems so surreal to me, I'm from Santiago, Chile and I've been close (and I live really close) to torture/death centers of the fascist coup that took place here from 1973 to 1990, and to be there where people have been murdered or tortured makes it so much vivid and real and you can just imagine what all of them had to go through

    I have another story.
My friend was watching this clip on UA-cam, and I had just happened to walk through the front door while he was watching it in the living room, and I joked “What are you watching now, Ted Bundy?”. This was because he had previously watched your Black Dahlia video (if I recall correctly it was the day before). I was cracking a joke about his viewing habits on UA-cam. I had no idea he was actually watching a video about Ted Bundy right at that very exact moment, since I was not paying attention to the content on the TV (he streams UA-cam on a smart TV). It wasn’t until I started listening to it from the kitchen (right next to the living room) that I realized you were talking about Ted Bundy on the video, and I literally laughed! It blew me away.
He doesn’t just watch crime-themed videos, but a bunch of random things like music videos and live streaming. There are so many potential things to watch on UA-cam, but I happened to just suddenly quip about Ted Bundy, just as a joke, right as he was watching this particular video. Very fucking cool.
I believe everything is interconnected in some way or another. We are spiritual beings, and reality is just an illusion. Also - aliens are real. haha

I actually met Ted Bundy after he was arrested in Pensacola, Florida. If you were not aware of what he was accused of, you never would have suspected him of any wrong doing, at first glance. From what I can remember, since it was so long ago, I believe the NCIC, (National Crime Information Center) went off-line so when David, (the arresting officer) tried to get information on him, he couldn't. Bundy, in a panic since he was in a stolen vehicle, assaulted David, who immediately arrested Bundy. After Bundy was in custody, and the NCIC came back up, we had him. The next day, the whole building was on lock-down due to Bundy's history, wants and warrants. Only authorized personnel was allowed into the Police Department.

I suggest if anyone is interested in getting into extreme detail (not extremely graphic, just very detailed) specifically about Bundy’s crimes, there is a set of books written by Kevin Sullivan that are fantastic. The first one (which I’d start with) is called “The Bundy Murders” and is very informative about both his life and his crimes. I just read the new 2nd edition of “The Phantom Prince” by Elizabeth Kendall, who was his long-term girlfriend when he was in Seattle and Utah. It was also interesting to hear about things from her perspective. She was one of the first people to call the police and give them Bundy’s name and all of the “coincidences” between her boyfriend Bundy and the “Ted” that was committing these crimes. Just FYI. 😬

My girlfriend and I were vacationing in the Gainesville area of Florida during the time the killer was still on the loose. The entire community was on edge and it reminded me of way back in the 70s , as a 19 year old, crossed paths with serial killer Gary Gilmore. I escaped, actually he let me go, gave me 5 seconds he said to run out of the gas station- party store I was working at at 1am. These other people were not given a chance and I feel so bad for the victims and their families. Unbelievable that people could do these things to other people. Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer and the rest... it's like they're not even human.

Ottis did not kill Adam Walsh. He admitted to the murder, and then continuously denied, admitted, denied then admitted, just as a way to drive John Walsh batty. There is more than sufficient evidence to suggest that it is far more likely that Jeffrey Dahmer, who was living in Florida at the time, killed Adam, and not Ottis.
