I can't believe those cops delivering that kid to Dahmer on a silver platter. They were standing in his apartment which smelled like death. This kid didn't even look 14 let alone 19 like Dahmer said. He was drugged, incoherent, bleeding. They should have caught him right then and there instead of sending that kid to his death.

@peggypeggy4137 Actually, it didn't smell like death, at least not at that time. They described it as a chemical smell. Dahmer had lots of cleaning chemicals as well as acid in the apartment. Acid has a smell to it as well. It's not illegal to have cleaning chemicals in your home.

I was born in Milwaukee, but raised in Mississippi. When the Dahmer case first broke, I was a freshman in high school and was taking driver's ed. All students had to provide a copy of their birth certificate to get a permit. My mother had to send off to Wisconsin to get mine, and I was the last student to get my birth certificate. When my teacher asked why it was taking so long, I explained my birth certificate was coming out of state. That's when the whole class found out I was from Milwaukee. They started peppering me with questions and I told them that I had relatives who lived mere blocks from Dahmer and that when I visited during the summer, we always went to the Plaza Mall, which was one of Dahmer's trolling grounds. I remember my classmates and even my teacher looking at me like Jeffrey Dahmer was my freaking daddy or something!!! It was a really weird time, and the story stayed in the news for weeks!!

Great video guys. I was born and raised in Milwaukee and still live in the area. I remember very vividly waking up that morning like everyone else and finding out what was going on. It was morning news, all that footage of evidence being removed was late night after the ten o’clock news had aired. The city was completely stunned, shocked, and frankly freaking out because as news trickled out it got worse and worse and worse and seemed like it was never going to end. You guys are one of several to come to town and talk about it and about how Jeff was killed. He was beaten to death, which you know, along with another inmate. Nobody ever talks about the other inmate. Jesse Anderson was his name. His case was also very famous in the Milwaukee area for killing his wife and trying to frame two black teenagers for it. Both inmates in the same place at the same time got “handled” by another who was already serving life and was never getting out. Keep up with the great vlogs I love watching you guys.

I rewatched this UA-cam video after finishing the Dahmer series on Netflix. It's insane how there never really was a memorial for the victims. The show did a great job at showing the victims' side of the story and they did not glamorize Jeffrey in any way. Now that I have even more knowledge and details of this case after seeing the show, it's insane to me how this story has impacted so many people in such a cruel way. I hope for nothing but peace and happiness for all those people hurt by Dahmer's cruelty. Being a true crime enthusiast, I believe respecting the victims is our sole duty as we learn and hear about these dark stories. It's all history we should learn from.

If you ever do a video on Adam Lanza, the monster who killed those children and teachers at Sandy Hook in Newtown CT, know this. The tore down the school where the killings took place and built a new building RIGHT ON TOP of the land where the original building stood. I NEVER understood why they did that. I live here in CT and it haunts me to this day over 15 years later.

intense. Still captivating all these years later, and terrifying. His actions have cast a permanent pall over Milwaukie . A Dahmer death gloom is sort of woven into the city's DNA. Not surprising after all these years, parts of the community have just decided to accept, if not embrace it. His Grandmother certainty knew what was going on, but looked the other way. While his organically creepy father incessantly filmed his son as if he knew something was seriously wrong with him, even though he could not ,at leased at the time, put his finger on it. So many folks dropped the ball on this, it really makes you wonder on how this tragedy got so bad. Thanks for another micro Grimm masterpiece. Keep em coming!

I was laser focused on this episode, and quite frankly, I was about to pass it up, and NEVER view it.... but... I felt that you would tell it with some sort of dignity, and you did. This has to be one of the most bizarre cases to ever be reported on this continent, of of course for good reason. I found the old footage that you dug up, to be really intriguing--- the woman news caster, who interviewed JD... WOW, who would have interviewed this nut?! (would you do that, GriMMs?)..... I think that the interviewing of extreme people, was a product of media from the 90s---- just not practiced today, and for good reason. Then, moving on to the Grand parents of JD's house--- who would live there, still (my God there was an old lady tenant there!)?!... Many people ask, "What possessed this person to do such a thing", and I have the answer.... a TOTAL Disconnect of mental function (or mental Malfunction), because there can be no other answer. Also, that initial encounter with the current tenant got a little heated there---- please, GriMMs, watch yourselves (that looked sticky), I want you both back nice and healthy... Thanks, for an interesting episode, and take care....

Silence of the Lambs is not based on Dahmer. Gein. Get your facts right. I am a criminal ist and criminal attorney who profiled several infamous cases, Dahmer isn't all that intriguing. Nightstalker is more psychotic and cold. Ramirez was extremely terrifying.

Factual. Seeing his body altar drawing fully shows premeditation.
He wanted to have his black murder table covered in painted skulls, have blue globes hung above it, a wall plaque, and two painted skeletons with a single black chair in front of it for him to admire it all.
      That's not an oopsie, it's a cult's worst nightmare.

And I totally understand. You have to deal with people like that on a daily basis I don’t find it rude. I applaud you guys for doing what you do.
