Don’t forget to enable “notifications” after you connect to Bluetooth under the BT submenu by clicking the “info” icon next to the Audi connected devices on the iPhone. Otherwise, you won’t get text properly.
I have tried enabling CarPlay on my 2019 Audi A6 by myself by UA-cam videos by Audi representatives and by Apple representatives with negative results. Wi-Fi is on Bluetooth is on my phone is linked to the car but unless I am physically connected with a USB cable equinox automatically connect why?
Not all Audi cars have WIRELESS CarPlay enabled. For my 2020 A4, it's the same as your A6. I bought an OBDeleven to enable WIRELESS CarPlay, and I am about to use online instructions to make the necessary changes.

Is the Audi that you have use wireless Apple car play or you have to put the usb lead to it ?
But my 2019 sq5 does not have touch screen

Isn’t the touch feature only available on 2021’s?
