It’s not fun to see him in the playoffs every year and our favorite teams losing to him and the pats year after year. I don’t necessarily agree with him being a great person tho. The teams I root for never seem to be able to do what he does even when they have a great team as well.

I think, I figured it out, Tom is simply a classic workaholic. His obsession is football and I dont think he was ever very popular growing up and so he became socially awkward to most. So basically, his entire social identity is layered in football and thats why he cant find it in himself to quit and thats why he wants to be the best so bad because for him football has been his entire world and gave him more than what he could of ever thought possible probably and more. So that creepy vibe you get is there because hes just a fish out of water when talking about anything unrelated to football probably.
And im sure him his wife probably have over 50% of there conversations revolve around each others work habits and self discipline routines because most models in order to keep themselves flawless have to be work obsessed as well because there entire life revolves around it.
