Thank you for making this video. You present the information clearly and as another commenter said, " make it look easy". I have a 94 pickup with 330,000 miles. It runs okay but doing research on the web the idea of cleaning the intake manifold ( along with the throttle body) came up. My 2 local shops where I live in California want around $400 to do that. I know it's not as easy as you make it look but you had the intake manifold off in minutes. I been on youtube for years and have uploaded (and removed) some videos related to construction. For the first time I've subscribed to a channel- yours. You've got a gift of clearly presenting information. Thanks again.

You made that look easier than I think it will be lol.. Good video.. Thank you.
Edit 4 days later: pretty simple but after I got it put back together & running, I had a leak around an injector 😔😕... Now to redo, sighhhhhhh... 🤔 We did purchase our parts from the same guy on ebay 😉

Excellent video, makes this weekend warrior think this can be done with a little help. Hats off to georgia girl for taking on the task and posting experience. I'm having a crank no start issue, but when i place my hand over the throttle body hose pipe to restrict air intake it starts temporarily but doesnt stay started.

Could be a cold start injector time switch, or a coolant temp sensor.

Nice video. I had installed 12 port injectors under the promise that it will increase low end torque, which it did 🙂 I purchased them on ebay. They had the wire adapters as well as a "thing" that removed the ballast?? from the wiring.

Excuse me, so did your truck work better after you put the injectors? I have an 87 4 runner, you think this would work on my 22RE . And where did you buy it? Can you put the link if you have it. Please and thank you.

@@mizaelmontijoduarte9068 Purchased on ebay a couple of years ago. The tires are too large which hurt low end torque. These 12 port increase low end torque, made the truck fun to drive again. Unfortunately, one of the injectors is now partially clogged and I have not had time to work on it again. My thinking is that the holes are too tiny and easily clog. When I get back into it, I will install a high quality fuel filter to hopefully never have this happen again.

Looks like you aren't selling this kit anymore. I heard something about being able to do it on an 85 22re if I remove a resistor pack. I am concerned about 8% more fuel though.. You say the computer will compensate... but here is my understanding (granted I have forgotten 5 times more than I remember at this point):
Sure, it will compensate .. while in closed loop. However, in open loop (when you put your foot down and you arguably have more potential for damage), it needs a preset, richer, but very precise AFR that makes the narrowband o2 useless... so it ignores it. It will not know it has different injectors and be throwing more fuel than intended because it just has a pre-set program based on airflow etc... according to all that I know.. but if I am missing something I am open to hearing it... in detail please. How would the ECU know what is happening under load in open loop? Maybe I will learn something. I see no reason we couldn't find 4 holes that flow the same rate as stock though (at the same fuel pressure)? I mean richer is better than leaner but it is still not great. I suspect most people experiencing better gas mileage did a lot of closed loop driving.

Replaced the injectors in my truck because it sat for almost 15 years. They keep leaking on me! I gotta fix the leak for the 4th time! Nice video though, I like watching someone else do it to make sure I don't break anything. You deserve a like.

if they are leaking at the fuel rail, you need to take the railout and clean the inside where the injectors go with some 220 grit sandpaper and finish it with 440 grit. luge your orings and you should be OK.
