      It takes a little getting used to climbing on it out in the open… Normally you put your hands on a taller ladder, but I really like it. If you are close to something to touch with your hands it’s no different at all.
      Thanks 👍

    Good video, thanks for making it. I am a big fan of Little Giant ladders. For confined spaces, this one looks killer. I have "Jumbo Step" 2-step ladder by them that I like a lot. It has more of a platform to stand on which I like, but it is also less compact so it won't go into spaces quite as tight as this one will. Also, you mic sounds good. Take care!

    I've been using these 3-step ladders for the last 10 or 12 years. Here they cost from $20 to $40 and are made of aluminium. The ladder weights around 6 pounds. I also use them as a part of a small scaffolding: two ladders + plywood platform with aluminium square tubes screwed underneath. Because of the price I have 1 very clean, 1 for dirtier jobs and 2 for anything else.
    I also use 5-step two sided ladder. I cant even imagine using one sided ladders. I know that over some heights they are safer (safer in the way that they force you not to do dumb things), but I hate that type.
    New mic sound very good. And bloopers at the and are a brilliant idea.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Рік тому +1

      I’m a big fan of the 2 sided ladders too. I also have a 4’ double sided and almost all my extension ladders are the foldable type that are also double sided.
      I take my 4’ Double Sided with me to job sites and the one in the video in houses. The double sided is a little heavier to move around a finished house.
      Making scaffolding is always a great idea for many jobs.
      I do dumb stuff on any ladder. Not as much now as in my younger days, my balance isn’t quite the same 😂

    Ah. Another good recommendation. I've got a 6' Gorilla, a 6' preacher from Werner I think, and a 12' Little Giant. I like them all, but they are either heavy or bulky, and therefore inconvenient to use inside the shop. As I get older, I have started appreciating the little usability qualities in my gear.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Рік тому

      Same here… the weight of things from drills to ladders has become a big selling point.
      I have a Gorilla and Little Giant foldable multi ladder. I like the Gorilla Ladder better because of weight, but I use the Little Giant more because it has feet you can adjust for level.
      They both make great ladders.

    I like that little ladder, I havent looked yet but it would be sweet if they had a platform version of this. I use a kobalt 2 step aluminum ladder that weighs 5.9lbs. 250lb weight rating. It lays easily across my back seat and has the "tool storage" dealie aross the top- Model #20453ABL2.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance

      They have a Little Giant Jumbo Step that like walking up stairs I was looking at… but I like how this one opens/closes.
      I have one like yours, (not Kobalt) that I leave in my building. Those types are big space savers and the platforms are nice.
      The top step on this one is like a platform, but it takes some getting use to not having something to grab onto.
