@andyMutale if you are that capable you should be able to plan an efficient side hustle. find away to get some people some stuff they need. dont do doordash its a waist but if you have a Transit type vehicle you can deliver a bunch of stuff, or even have someone else close to you that's not doing anything do it for you. As much as this CCU looks cool, its like comparing apples to oranges and Tesla deserves credit where its due. Firstly, AEMEV's CCU is 6.6kW OBC compared to 11kW on Teslas.
Secondly, AEMEV CCU doesn't seem to support DC fast charging (which is big bummer) compared to Teslas 150kW DC charging support. Obviously other manufacturers do this too, but since Tesla was mentioned in the video I compared to them :)
Also I think, this wiring harness needs wrapping after ironing out all of the small issues.
All in all, great content as always guys 👌

On the second point, technically the CCU like OEM on-board chargers is not involved in DC fast charging; because it is DC, it bypasses onboard charging, and what comes out of the DCFC is more or less dumped straight to the battery. The device itself (the DCFC) is actually the charger.

Normally we just parallel onboard chargers to get to the charge rates we are a looking for. On conversions it is easier to find locations for a few small boxes than it is to find an area for something like a large Tesla charger. I am not sure you can parallel the AEM chargers out of the box. Public lvl2 charging stations are rarely above 6.6 kW. So there is not much reason to go higher at this time.
DC fast charging is completely different it is not done on board the vehicle. All those electronics and AC to DC conversion is done in the DC charging station. The car is communicating to the charger the voltage and current rate it needs to charge the battery.

At the end it would be nice to see the price breakdown of the whole car and also how much the electric motor conversion part of it cost

Look Tim, I get that these are sponsored parts and you gotta do these "ads" in return, but what we really want to see are these projects going at full beans around a track or down the road.
You made a killer turbo carbon Z and it's just sitting in your shop collecting dust. I've only ever seen it drive ONCE and I think it was when Larry Chen shot it. Major disappointment, given that's 60% of why I'm here.

Got to say this is painful for me to watch I have the AEM EVC 200 and no idea on how to hook it up to Zonic motor. My whole UA-cam is all about how to hook up Ev parts from different vendors. But I am unable to do this one on how to hook up a AEM system. Got videos on how to hook up the hyper 9 , on how to hook up even Evnetits and zill controllers. Every part I've documented how to hook it up . I believe in being the change I want to see and the idea of just selling somebody something and then not giving them the information on how to use it not the world I want to live in.

Benz use noman ICE engine coolant, but others have specific ev coolant eg Hyundai/ Kia. What coolant you use with AEM? Do they sell a coolant, or what the battery pack manufacturer spec uses?
