This is literally My wife and I's dream build, we daily a Tesla MYP, and the performance of a Tesla performance model with old school JDM looks is perfection, I only found this channel because we have been talking about doing the same thing with likely a 300zx or an R32.. and R34 would be perfection but I could never do that to such a legendary car.
Im always amazed at the mold making process. Just insane what essentially is a bunch of cardboard and foam then turns into a straight masterpiece. I hope one day Tim will find a reason to make carbon parts for an f31 bmw and ill be the first on the list to buy!
Maybe I'm one of the few, but I have to appreciate your ability to see a designed item (or just imagine one) and than do the reverse engineering to create a mold and once that done, you now have the finished piece. It's really astounding. Awesome work today and have a great weekend, guys!
Yes red center with a bright white outer ring for the reverse light? The little lip spoiler on the rear hatch needs to be more flared or dramatic looking. It would then match the theme of the car and total visual flow.
I want you guys to know I have been watching your builds from the beginning and even know I watch a lot of UA-cam The electric z is the most unique idea on UA-cam today. Thank you and keep it going
You guy's are building my ultimate dream Z's. I learned to drive in a 240Z and I've been chasing the high ever since. The FairLady and Z's in my personal opinion are the best looking car's ever made. Keep up the excellent work. Someday I'll get a Z.😊❤
haha nice job on the editing , definitely better than the previous one especially the out door shots , but the indoor ones need a bit more work . tweak the exposure , contrast and shadow levels ig . in order to reach the perfect 50 balance , right now its at 40 for the indoor ones . But awesome project , cant wait for the next upload
Holes! I wanted to mention in the last video the hole at the front, do like a bottom of a wing shape to make so it creates some down force? If you're not doing it already. Awesome video!
Most of the Spal fans I looked at had pusher and puller models, so no need to reverse polarity, I'd imagine the efficiency might suffer if you were to use them with polarity reversed anyway. Love your work BTW!

Another fantastic build starting. I’ve watched your first 240z build about 5 times now lol. My next project will be of similar build. This may be a daft Q? Any reason why on this build you’re making moulds and panels to bond them on rather than using the original body as the plug? Are there advantages for this type of work? I’ve made moulds and panels before for previous projects but only in grp. Lastly any particular reason you removed the drip rails from the roof on the original 240z other than aesthetics? Sorry for all the questions…..
I've been getting small voids and pinholes in my layups of the A side surface, I use frekote mold sealer and release but haven't had any luck. I've tried layups on glass and PPG CRE primed surface sanded to 5k and polished. Any suggestions would be awesome
Swapping polarity on the SPAL fans may not be efficient- if you have curved blades thry are direction optimised, you may need to change them to be pushers . My previous company had issues on HVAC systems because of this
Lesson of the day? It's very important to clean your rear ends people! Tubing, lots of lube and elbow grease could all be required. It's hard dirty work with some grunting and cussing expected. 👍🏻😂
@@StreetBandito 😁 I'll be here all week! On a serious note if prep isn't done? I've got an idea for y'all with the rear end. Make a custom plaque with your logo and some back lighting to put in between those rear mounted radiators. Also for the drive unit, maybe take off the covers and paint or anodize them? Ad some metal or painted sleeves over the hv wires to really dress it up a bit instead of the boring orange. 👍🏻
i fell like if you guys would make and sell custom carbon fiber cars like this , you could make milions of dolars , i mean next to a normal supercare this thing is 3x coller in my opinion
SQUUUAAAAADDDDD ASSEMBLEEEEEE!!!!!!
fist bumps and proceeds to yell, LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO

I love the frequent video updates on the channel recently. To make it sweeter, the content relates to a Z
Michelangelo sculpted marble. Tim sculpts foam. Both create masterpieces. Chef’s kiss 🤌🏼

I kinda feel it needs a different rear defuser with a F1 rain light.

the full tubers are full tubing hell yea
You should make the taillight wrap all the way around the rear, like a rectangle led strip and do infinity lights like the Lexus LC500🫣
Every other day. Nahhh yall are spoiling us now
Do you guys ever have open houses at the shop? I've been following for a while, am local, and would love to see the cars up close.
