Sorry man, didn't notice your comment. Other than the intake elbow, I just have a Lightning MAF, Pypes catted-x, and Pypes Race-Pro mufflers as far as power mods go. It made about 10psi at redline and 415rwhp/406rwtq. I got the head-unit for a steal: $500 off the guy I bought the car from. After I bought the wideband, boost gauge, couplers/reducers, and injectors, it ended up at about $1000 for everything.
I have the 3.6" pulley. Just pull out a tape measurer and you'll know the size. Somehow I made almost 11 pounds of boost, but I think most expect between 8 and 9 with a 3.6".
Sweet! Got a couple of questions for you if you don't mind me asking.. What do you have done to it besides the bbk throttle body? Also how much boost are you pushing? Horsepower, and how much did the s/c set-up cost? thanks
you're thinking of turbo chargers. this is a centrifugal supercharger, basically a belt driven turbo. instead of exhaust spinning a turbine like turbos, the turbine is spun by a belt connected to the crank shaft.
Thanks for the video! I’m planning on getting a kit this summer or fall. Did you upgrade the injectors/fuel rail, or the fuel pump? And did you tune it yourself or take it to a shop?
@@83178sorry for the delay guys. def need a tune! previous owner blew the original motor bc of no tune. upgraded to 42lb injectors i believe (green ones). can't remember the pump i got but definitely needed to upgrade that too
Shouldn't run too hot unless you don't have a good cold air intake or have it running 20lbs of boost you can get intercooler kits for pretty cheap I've heard
Edward Duran it’s all determined by the pulley size you use. The smaller the pulley that connects the supercharger to the belt drive, the more it’ll spin and increase boost
nice set up so how much money and how much hp can a mustang gt handle 500 hp on stock internals thats what ive heard everything above 500 can blow the engine nice car bro do a test drive
Its a centrifugal supercharger. Essentially a belt driven turbo. It is considered a supercharger though, not a turbo as turbo's are exhaust gas driven.

Where is the boost gauge hooked up to
Did you need an extender harness for the maf
I just bought the same non intercooled kit used. I don't know what pulley it has, but what is your pulley size and how much boost are you making?

What size of injectors are you using
believe they’re 60 lbs
@@tylerhorner7261 holy fuck 60 lbs do you need injectors that big for a supercharger or can you just go with a little over stock like 24 maybe
Do these v2 kits require a priming procedure before first start up since they are oil fed like a turbo?

Hey man what inlet tubing is that? It seems different than the tubing I have on my kit.
Vortech changed the inlet after the first year or so that the kit was released.
where is the MAF ?
In the fender well
I was wondering the same thing hehe
+Tyler Horner hey man ...this kit has no intercooler , right ?
+Dream big, Be happy, and live in peace Nope
So was I I am glade u ask him
So with this, it doesnt hook up to your exhaust like the other ones?

Did u tune using sct

Me too did you have to do all that

Any problems since you added the supercharger ?
Nope, been running strong for a year and a half now at 415rwhp.
Install video please!!!!
do the car run hot without the intercooler
Shouldn't run too hot unless you don't have a good cold air intake or have it running 20lbs of boost you can get intercooler kits for pretty cheap I've heard
Sorry for the noob question but how do you set the amount of boost you want?
Edward Duran it’s all determined by the pulley size you use. The smaller the pulley that connects the supercharger to the belt drive, the more it’ll spin and increase boost
that was mine exactly
Sounds like a spark plug backing off
nice set up so how much money and how much hp can a mustang gt handle 500 hp on stock internals thats what ive heard everything above 500 can blow the engine nice car bro do a test drive
I've heard 400 is most for stock internals before making it a time bomb
Jose Villegas 400 on stock internals 400 on a auto 4r70w or about 450 on the manual trans is somewhat safe
Thats a turbo charger not a super charger
Faluur- your a jackass

Faluur- who told you that lie?
Faluur- it's a belt driven turbo. Technically a supercharger.
