👍🏻that is some serious good welding dude !! i’m welding for about 30 years now, you have ticked all the boxes... purging, cleaning all with acetone, even the wire, etc. you’ve earned my respect !! 👍🏻 🙏🏻
i am aeronautic welder my self here in France and i love watching your welding videos, the way you work i see that you take welding seriously thats nice
@@dawsongamblin5246 it's perfectly fine are you joking me I've had a manifold that's probably on it's third owner now completely supporting the turbo and it's mint few years old and thousands of miles and hundreds of passes on it stop hating these hold up on tons of cars making big power with no issues and if ever there is he would take care of it he's a stand up guy
good job Hayden! I feel that you are getting better and better every time I see a welding video, I love the fact that you are very meticulous with your deburring/polishing and the fact that you clean everything with acetone prior to weld. You are doing it the right way!
Of your “circle” i always thought Wyatt had the most refined content... then you put out this gem! And you didn’t have to say a word in it at all! Still mad respect to all the Dad Bods out there!
I've been a first class fabricator for 27 years doing this and I can say the construction and preparation is absolutely on point :-) :-) very good video mate impressed :-) :-)
How do you get the weld els and pipe so shinny ? How do you prep them ? Please share that secret , everyone i asked that question to has looked at me in disgust and ignored me .
Hayden cleaning the inside of the tube is just as important as cleaning the outside, can pull in contaminants from insides into the root resulting in eventual cracking
Whooooah, looking GOOD!!!! I think it's awesome watching you evolve and improve your technique, keep up the good work man, you're on your way to being an ARTIST!
Glad to see a manifold with some inches of straight pipe before the first bend. Curious to see if that makes as much of a difference as I think it does. Good shit!
I tend to reach as far my wrist and tourch will allow then start my weld moving slowly but staying in puddle and moving tourch handle slow down only to twist handle other direction. To allow tungsten to flow across tube. If you do this right, you can weld a tube 3/4 and match to one inch tack. Note: I start like you with spot tacks hit peddle at 90-120 amps I still run a one inch track on tight spot where tubes hard reach. Each tube would have different locations most of time. Remember to bend wire to allow first 5-10cm of reach. Practice makes better welder. Push yourself. Set a higher amperage and pulse to flow out weld and keep heat down. Not your heat signatures shows your hand pause. Don't pause or rest, keep going....
Your stick out is soo long and somehow you get beautiful welds , I guess you're purposely doing that for some coloration. I'm learning how to weld now so I'm still figuring out every little aspect of my welding setup and can't wait to get it dialed in. Nice man.
Cool change from the normal style, more "cinematic epic" feel. Anyway, for a young guy you got some serious skills there. Keep at it, you're making a great name for your self.
You been getting better at this keep up the good work , i wish u guys can customize the manifold for my Mitsubishi eclipse 2000 . But shout out from Phoenix Arizona i been watching ur videos ever since boostedboiz started.
That welding plate was a sweet idea - saves a bunch of messing around. Quick changing for the purging, just need to swap drilling, multiple drillings for different manifolds and thick enough to prevent distortion. Going to steal that concept for the next one I do - bit of time making it but once it's done it's ready for the next one. Ah, checked some of your other videos - cool as welding :-)
Straight sexy pipes you obviously love doing this as a career and put a lot of work and effort into your builds of headers they aren't half assed you are going to get very far with this
Very nice work. You're an excellent fabricator. Don't know if I would have bothered with this project though. I was always taught just get the exhaust gas to the turbo in the fastest and shortest path possible. You may actually be losing pressure wave energy with those beautiful snake pipes. Did enjoy your video.
im honestly excited to eventually order a b series top mount from you and run it been watching you and everyone else you know who from the start and its pretty sick just seeing how far everyone has come keep it up man id say your fucking killing it some of the nicest manifolds and priced right can't beat it dude
It would be cool if you could build some sort of device that clamps on to the tubing and spins the tubing while you weld?I could imagine it would save time and give a seamless finish? Never seen one but I'm sure it's been done lol
Super educational video! I have a question for you. What wheel is that on the bench grinder? About to grab a brass wire and another stainless wire wheel...I've used other kinds that made me work way too hard to get it done
Yo Hayden you ever think about doing manifolds for all motor setups, or just header setup, if you do I’d be interested, your work looks really good keep at it bro
nice welding, but as a welder, would like to see it in real time, mainly with the inbetween sections, where the tungsten is way out and feeding filler from the side is your gas set to 80 the whole time, or only when you have the tungsten "too" far out? thanks for sharing!
Great video. There’s one thing I don’t understand. Why do you run your purge lines in on the top? Argon has a higher density than air. That means air stays on top of the argon when purging from the bottom with a vent on top of the part.
*and professional. Not "like a" I'm here ready to go to comment war with anyone who doesn't agree that this is professional work done by the pro himself.
Sly Brotha Rick Sanchez are u dumb cause if u agreed u would of just liked my post don't care if I spell shit right still zero fucks all day everyday build and race until I die.
Sly Brotha Rick Sanchez I don't know Hayden personally but he actaully trying to prove him self and dose what he loves doing everyday and don't have to put up with peoples shit.
Pin this for no reason
ATLAS GAMING down
this is great
ATLAS GAMING so you couldn’t even find something to say.
the reason is because there is no reason
1M views thank you everybody 😎
Metigulous Do you buy your tubing locally?
Don’t tell me what to do I want my view back
👍🏻that is some serious good welding dude !! i’m welding for about 30 years now, you have ticked all the boxes...

i am aeronautic welder my self here in France and i love watching your welding videos, the way you work i see that you take welding seriously thats nice
but those weld burns though....

man only seeing this now, youve come so far and yet this manifold is still so beautiful
I've been a first class fabricator for 27 years doing this and I can say the construction and preparation is absolutely on point :-) :-) very good video mate impressed :-) :-)
Bhaiya kha se ho
Dude what an epic production quality. Your videos are getting better and better everytime.
Makes it look easy, but all the measuring and fab, great job!!
How do you get the weld els and pipe so shinny ? How do you prep them ? Please share that secret , everyone i asked that question to has looked at me in disgust and ignored me .
Bro in my head I thought, "ima look at exhaust fabrication because I'm looking to do mine", and then this popped up, wtf! FUCKING AMAZING!
What kind of wheel is that on the bench grinder? Scotch- brite Multi finishing wheel?
i love how you keep everything clean
Hey mate, what kind of wheel on your bench grinder did you use to make the surface clean and polished? cheers!
Hey man wicked video, just curious though, what’s the wheel on the pedestal grinder that gives it such a nice finish??
Hayden cleaning the inside of the tube is just as important as cleaning the outside, can pull in contaminants from insides into the root resulting in eventual cracking
If you ever get a chance to use a ro
Tig with pulse it does wonders for heat and constantly
Like the cap-off to those two pipes so the gases, instead, merge through to the main pipes via a cutout.
Perfect work man ! where i can find the same wheel please ? (0:32) thankss
Whats the name of the disc you use for polished al the elbows and pipes?
Whats the wheel used 0.33?
Sick video Hayden. Loved it. Please make another
Definitely one of the sickest videos you’ve done. Good shit
Whooooah, looking GOOD!!!! I think it's awesome watching you evolve and improve your technique, keep up the good work man, you're on your way to being an ARTIST!
This is just awesome man. One of my dream things to do is have my own shop, where all I do is fab custom manifolds and exhausts. Beautiful work
Glad to see a manifold with some inches of straight pipe before the first bend. Curious to see if that makes as much of a difference as I think it does. Good shit!
Good job with the planning prep and welding, only thing I don't understand is why put the turbo so far away from the engine....
Watch and learn kids, this is how you TIG weld, the inside is as important as the outside! Good job buddy 🤙
Awesome vid dude! Enjoyed the whole thing. Music was great and no bullshit.
Great welding!!
Crazy to see how far you've come dude. You should keep making these types of videos
I tend to reach as far my wrist and tourch will allow then start my weld moving slowly but staying in puddle and moving tourch handle slow down only to twist handle other direction. To allow tungsten to flow across tube. If you do this right, you can weld a tube 3/4 and match to one inch tack.

What wheel is on that bench grinder you get a great finish
Great video. Never thought the BBoiz split would be so beneficial. Seems a hard thing to say but there's so much quality content now.
Too much talking in this video
He needs to stfu
Best video you’ve posted to date. Manifold looks amazing
This video is the start of your future career. Looks amazing bud.
You should show how you weld the runners to the merge at final assembly that seems to be the hardest part
This was a very well made video of some serious craftsmanship. Nice job man
You been getting better at this keep up the good work , i wish u guys can customize the manifold for my Mitsubishi eclipse 2000 . But shout out from Phoenix Arizona i been watching ur videos ever since boostedboiz started.
Welding next to the can of Acetone!! Nice!!
matt huff all the pros do it! Lol
That what I was thinking WTF
Tig doesnt throw sparks. It's not ideal to have the can of acetone on the bench but far less dangerous than if he was stick or mig welding
Beautiful twin scroll manifold!
They belong in an art gallery not on a car. Great video. Beautiful work!
Nice... good to see your technique on the tubes.
Re-watching and just noticed the "shocker" - naughty boy :-D
Great prep, great execution. Absolutely lovely job buddy
Love this format. Nice work on the video and the manifold!
Pretty sick considering you've never had any formal training. I hope that I can get that good once I pick up my tig welder!
Straight sexy pipes you obviously love doing this as a career and put a lot of work and effort into your builds of headers they aren't half assed you are going to get very far with this
That's badass bro. Hope to see more content like this in the future.
Sick didn't know you knew how to fabricate. This was satisfying to watch
Very nice work. You're an excellent fabricator. Don't know if I would have bothered with this project though. I was always taught just get the exhaust gas to the turbo in the fastest and shortest path possible. You may actually be losing pressure wave energy with those beautiful snake pipes. sick video. relaxing
you're well on your way to 50k keep killing it hayden!
Hooray for back purging and doing things the correct way.
Those are some awesome fat welds. How many amps were you running on what gauge tubing? Looks like 14ga or 16ga
What are you using for filler wire?
Cool video. Great quality and chill tune. Two thumbs up!
When manifold is worth more than the car.
Masa vaan clean b16 noo way, maybe a b18b1 or b20non vtec yes
when the manifold's more important than the rad... also those burns though, welding too slow.
At college, I had an old bike, which is so shabby that my roommate joked at my having a bike lock more valuable than the bike itself.
best video of gtaw on a manifold that i have seen on youtoube
you should see toxicfab xD
This video was somewhat hypnotizing! Absolutely sick Hayden!!! You need to go into business if you haven't already.
Dude, by far THE best video you've made! loved it!
lovely work bro.....currently awaiting my tig exam results ....so watch ur back....ho ho
Do you use aluminium or an other metal ?? What size of tubes you use ?? This is the best video of manifold build see ever. 👏👏
Stainless
It would be cool if you could build some sort of device that clamps on to the tubing and spins the tubing while you weld?I could imagine it would save time and give a seamless finish? Never seen one but I'm sure it's been done lol
Don't fix it if it ain't broken. Go work for nasa lol
Super educational video! I have a question for you. What wheel is that on the bench grinder? About to grab a brass wire and another stainless wire wheel...I've used other kinds that made me work way too hard to get it done
Best video you posted so far imo. Keep it up!
Work of art. Wanna just put it on my shelf.
Yo Hayden you ever think about doing manifolds for all motor setups, or just header setup, if you do I’d be interested, your work looks really good keep at it bro
that sticks out a lot, will you make a bracket to support the turbo or will it be fine as is?
You got mad skills dude!!! Looks awesome
Love the video no talking or stupid into just right to the point! Keep up the great work hayden! #iowaboysgeterdone
Dude what sick video! Awesome welds too
What kind of stainless is it .. Thats really nice fab+welds
Shocking @ 4:26 :) Nice work, man!
Approaching 1 million views! Congrats man!
Bro this was the sickest I’ve seen someone e make a welding video ! That beat set it off! I’ve work Hayden
Great video, nice editing, and beautiful welding. Keep it up my dude, good shit.
Awesome work Hayden, nice video/editing aswell !
What wheels are you using on the bench grinder to pollish the pipe??
Damn great work hayden , like always , super sick looking manifold
Good job man!!!
Your work is looking really good!!
My understanding of tig welding.
You took too long or too much amps to weld the joints, hence the colour
nice welding, but as a welder, would like to see it in real time, mainly with the inbetween sections, where the tungsten is way out and feeding filler from the side
is your gas set to 80 the whole time, or only when you have the tungsten "too" far out?
thanks for sharing!
The prep is unreal but the results speak for them self
What is the wheel on your bench grinder that you used for the stainless please ?
Great video.
There’s one thing I don’t understand. Why do you run your purge lines in on the top? Argon has a higher density than air. That means air stays on top of the argon when purging from the bottom with a vent on top of the part.
V.I.P.N - Lonely Nights.
Packin a bowlski to this jam asap rofl
That manifold looks so damn good !
Badass welds, Hayden! Damion’s gonna get fast out there
Well done mate your skill have come so far since i first started watching your videos
I don't care if it's the same process, keep posting vids like this one
Post flow sign language ftw, sick vid man make more like this plz.
Heaps good, the manifold looks killer.
Love ur work man looking clean like a professional
*and professional. Not "like a" I'm here ready to go to comment war with anyone who doesn't agree that this is professional work done by the pro himself.

That was a great video. The quality of the product is also very high
I didn't know you had so much skill with this. The one you did for Jeremy's civic is really good too
