    Nice tour of that system. I agree with getting things here and there if you have a modest budget. Had a few power outages last year and all I really powered was my laptop, a USB fan, and a couple fridges for a bit to make sure the ice parts stayed frozen. Didn't even come close to having to set up my solar panels.

    Nice set up! I put together an inverter and 200 ah LiFePo4 system on a rolling cart 2 years ago to keep my refrigerator going in a power outage and it works GREAT! Next step is to add a charge controller and larger solar panel. My current panel is only 120 watts.

      120w panel is a trickle charger. Go with a 400w or bigger and bifacial.

    Very nice system. Love seeing what others are doing !! Great stuff they have. I have large panels like that. 10 on 1 system. 3.2KW . With that inverter able to hard wire that can be used with a transfer switch to breaker panel . Thank you for showing that system with us !

    Hope you told
    ecommended for them to rotate that panel and out of the shade. 2000 inverter to power that pump is probably max it out. Need a 3500 or more probably.

    The 200A breaker might wanna be 100A.
    Might wanna put a 100A fuse straight off the battery.

    Good day I have a 100a -100v mppt solar charge controller with a 12v 2000watt pure sine wave inverter can I connect a 405 watt solar panel to it to for a 12volts setup ?

    • @OFFGRID_Trucker
      @OFFGRID_Trucker Місяць тому

      I'm not bob, obviously.. but yes. If the voc on the panel is less than the controller.. you can. 100a and 100v...? Volts are probably right, but 100a ...?

    • @kevongardner
      @kevongardner Місяць тому +1

      @@OFFGRID_Trucker yes the max spec on the charge controller is 100a 100v max 12/24/36/48

    • @kevongardner
      @kevongardner Місяць тому +1

      @@OFFGRID_Trucker I'm good with the 24v setup because that setup up says 30-50v 2400 watts solar .. and for the 12v setup it's 15-25v 1200 watts of solar

    • @kevongardner
      @kevongardner Місяць тому +1

      @@OFFGRID_Trucker but where I am I can't get any 200 watts solar panels because that wouldn't pass the 25v for the 12v setup now I'm wondering if I could use 405watt panel with the 12v 100ah battery and the charger controller is mppt So I'm thinking that would regulate the voltage

    • @OFFGRID_Trucker
      @OFFGRID_Trucker Місяць тому +1

      @@kevongardner It will work. Only thing that matter is the VOC of the panel is lower than the MAX voltage of the controller. So it's plug and play for you.
