Gonna have to get these for reverse lights
😂
Is the Relay OK to be screwed in anywhere or is it supposed to go into a slot in fuse box?
Congrats on the Santa Cruz! I used this video for similar lights I installed on my SC
Very cool!
Nice and simple!
the lights are conected directly to the battery forever? I guess it should be another way
Great video. Would've been nice to see how far and wide they light up the front of the car.
Yep 😂
can you show the lights from a different view to see how bright they are? like pointing to a dark street? I like your videos I've been following you since you had the Optima greetings from kilgore TX
Yes! I’m going to do a separate video on that, I figured since the install video was getting kind of long I’d do a part 2 showing how it looks while driving.
Thanks 👌
Great mod. I may not want the lights on hood all the time (i.e. highway road trips, etc.)...any concerns just unplugging the lights & removing the mounts ... in other words any special protection for the connector plugs under hood when not plugged in the lights/lights removed? thx!
I noticed your Kia Sorento door handles were blacked out. Did you skin them or use an overlay, or did you replace the body colored handles with new black ones? If you replaced them, from where?
They are some “carbon style” plastic covers you can find on Amazon - amzn.to/46b8yKz
Interested in more Content for the Sorento! We have a 2022 SXP X-Line and I'm definitely looking for ways to spruce up the sorento
I should have some more stuff on the way!
What gauge wire did you use
Thank you for helpful video.I will buy this at Amazon
Thanks for watching!
3:08 no se que qp2 pero a este gringo si le entendi 😅 bueno bro gracias por el video me ayudo 💪😎
How have the brackets held up? their are plenty off options on Amazon, these dont seem to be the best. Then again, time always tells, so please let me know. Cheers!
Had same question, seems if you can find the ones that mount to the hood support/hinge thatd be best but another channel I saw said he hasnt had an issue with them in his 9 months of owning.
They were great, my only issue is I over tightened them to the hood and left a little dimple in the paint. Other than that they’ve worked perfectly!
@KDMCurt have you driven those pod lights through a car wash tunnel with them not being pulled by the car wash while touching the vehicle? I am on the fence from being concerned these might get pulled off by a touch carwash.
@@ziggydiaz7601 yes they fly off, so pull them off or tuck them away inside the hood before entering.
Did you have to drill the brackets into the hood?
I think instead of hood mount I would of tried on roof rack but that’s me
will that metal loop you used to attach the relay to the plastic work as a ground if i just connect it to the frame of my car?
There is an empty socket in the fuse box that you can install the lights on it ❤❤❤❤
Any issues w the mounts?
They hold up pretty good, my only gripe is I overtightened them on the hood and left I little dimple in the paint. Other than that they were great!
Love these Sorento Videos. I own a 23 Sorento and I can't find anyone besides you who does these. Keep it up! Hopefully you straight pipe and put on an after market BOV on here soon 😬
I’ve got some more plans for it!
You didn't adjust the aiming. You could potentially blind the oncoming traffic.
I adjusted them for off-road so I can see what’s infront of me at a longer distance and wider angle. You shouldn’t use these on main roads with oncoming traffic that’s not what they are for.
