I agree......the styling isn't "too much" and has class and is a Mercedes......but wakes up and turns into a monster when you get on it. I also like better than new ones even with bells as whistles of today.

1 year owner now.. and i'd want to say that' its a super all day use SPORTcar.
how has the maintenance been
I bought one about a month ago. Has 60,000 miles on it and is a certified preowned. Other than a few small rock chips, it's nearly perfect. Cost me $37,000 at a dealer. Has every option except panorama sunroof or a total of $10,780 worth of options. That puts MSRP around $69,000+ new. Love the car by the way.
This will be a classic. The 2009 ( original look) is the best looking one in my opinion! The engine sound is unparalleled!

I just bought a 2008 S-550 4-Matic in Iridium Silver. and I Love it. Only when I park it next to our 2001 E-320 in Brilliant Silver can I tell the difference.

This is pretty much the best car you can get for that price
I think this is Steel Grey. Currently MB uses three colors that look very similar they are:
"Steel Gray" which is the color of the C63 in this video.
"Indium Grey"
Palladium Silver"
"Iridium Silver" which replaced Brilliant silver went MB went to the w211 model, our third E-Class was in Brilliant silver and we truly love that color. The new "Iridium Silver" in brighter, crisper, and more sparkly. This is what we would told by an MB salesman. Currently awaiting the 2011 or 2012 E-350Bluetech

This car makes me proud that I live in this day and age. And its not even the cost of a small home either! Sure its not cheap, but after a few hard years of saving up, this will be worth it. And if I'm lucky, it may come with a added bonus of a wife too.

I love this car, but damn...12 MPG in the City???
Last time i check a car with a stick shift is more fun to drive than a automatic. Sorry the interior dash is a let down compared to the W203. Seats are nice.

The light bulb is not broken. That's a rear fog light.
i think the automatic suits this car's lazy muscle persona better than a manual would.

go with the c63 I think the price is more worth it for the performance, look, and sound. I currently own a 2006 c55 amg and I know I will be buying a c63 soon

Its rounded up from 6208 to 6300 cc because of 2 reasons:
in motor sport, the displacement gets rounded up like that
and the german vehicle tax does the same.
Boy Moog the 6.3 badge is kept to maintain the heritage, their first V8 engine was a 6.3, and that’s why they have kept the badge. And you shouldn’t really be talking, look at what u own
Who gives a fuck about 0.1 litre. The 63 on the 4 lt turbo new ones are a crime!

Um.... this is the second review where I saw you drive around with the rear fog light on during clear weather. Not good if you want to get pulled over by the cops for a broken tail light. Then trying to explain to the officer what a rear fog light is.
great car, but it's not 6.3, it's really 6.2. damn germans just wont let go of the 6.3 badge.

I also have Brilliant silver w211 and for me is better than newer color. Hope MB will come back Brilliant silver,best silver on earth. :)
