This car even in its stock form, sounds really insane. European V8s are normally high revving but this had a grunt and a roar like an American muscle car. And in stock form it is way subtle compared to modern AMGs
1st. - I haven't seen all the vids, but I've seen a couple where the horses are mentioned and I love that he doesn't go there so he doesn't disturb them 2nd. - I love that he drove so many cars, Ferraris, Porsches, Maseratis, whatever, but he's so thrilled about the sound of this car and he's so happy driving it, you can feel his excitement - I love it!
@diznutz5110 I have one too. Thinking of replacing the head bolts as a preventative measure and while doing it add the factory mechanical diff, supercharger and stage 2 tune. Prolly cost $10k total and mean the car is a supercargo killer for another 20 years

Here many people buy compact pick ups and fill them with speakers and walk around the city at dawn with the loudest sound possible. unfortunately it is very common. no police care. I've noticed that Brazilian people love LOUD music. It's on a different scale than what some others do (like in America with big subwoofers)... The bass is powerful, but it isn't ear piercing.
I love that you are considerate to people, animals etc when it comes to the noise and the speed at which you pass them. They don't need to perceive our hobby as harmful to themselves.
@@seanpang1119 I’m moving back to the US soon so I’ll be getting a US spec BS. The Euro BS is a lot more expensive because it’s more track ready with carbon roof, bucket seats, roll cage, etc whereas the US versions lack a lot of those features.
I've got a 2010 w212 E63 with this same 156 6.2 V8 in it and it is awesome ! - The M156 was the best engine AMG and Mercedes ever created - Wish they would bring it back again ! :-)

lol my son had a merc c63 special edition and the gearbox failed so got rid of it spent £23k and sold it 6 months later £12k wish we never got rid of that beast , we live here in the uk so right hand drive , but yours is awesome.

Really rare to see a exhaust mod on the C63 that makes it sound better. This one is perfect, since it just cranks up the volume. The stock exhaust on these is just about perfect though, its honestly a waste of money to buy other exhausts for these...
Manual mode it’s slow. There’s about a half second delay between pressing the paddle and the transmission actually shifting so the car is actually a lot faster when left in S+ (automatic) compared to manual mode.
I have a pre-facelift C63 and I love the seats... the bolstering makes me keep both hands on the wheel. My wife hates the seats though... 😂 Also, I have just the resonator removed and it's a symphony to the ears!

93 octane ? over here in the uk cars are meant to be ran on 95-99 octane in fact we don’t even have 93 octane, and if you meant 95 why are you sticking shit fuel in a AMG? I put nothing but 99 in my c63, sacrilege putting anything less than 99 in

Just to let you know your incorrect about some of them gains. Just remap 500-530bhp max, anyone claiming more their tuner or dyno is wrong. Remap plus headers 540-560bhp, but these headers are MBH headers which are one of a very few full long tube headers, the rest are shortys. These headers are supposed to be the best on the market for quality and gains so the figures on this car could be true. Also the benefit of these headers is they keep the AMG tone if you leave the stock resonator and mufflers in.
This is such an iconic model. Mercedes did a great job. The car gives a lot of smiles per miles. The sound is pure heaven, could never get enough of that v8 amg rumble. And those seats are soo perfect really 10/10. Thanks for sharing it with us👍

Both C63, Pre-Facelift and Facelift had the 7G Tronic. But the Facelift had a wet Clutch while the pre Facelift had a traditional torque Converter with changed software.
Prefacelift also has 7 gears but has a torque converter, which is smoother for normal driving. Prefacelift has better amg bark downshifts, facelift has amg bark upshifts and is a little faster in shifting and pedal response I never had the feeling the brakes are coming short, maybe they just need to be replaced on this particular car?

My 2013 has a secondary cat delete and eurocharged tune and sounds completely insane! I’m dragging my feet on buying another because I don’t think I can get rid of this one. If this had a 6spd manual gearbox, it would be the perfect super sedan.

And i will be happy with the stock 450 horsepower version.😂 Beautiful, timeless, legendary. The exhaust pipes are real not fake like on these modern cars. And this is the one which should be called C63 AMG. Not the next generation with the 4.0 litre engine and definitely not the newest generation with a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder. My C220 has a bigger engine than the newest so called C63. BTW thanks for the video it was awesome.

You keep saying the transmission is slow, but it doesn't seem slow at all to me? Very quick and snappy shifts at the limiter.
Manual mode it’s slow. There’s about a half second delay between pressing the paddle and the transmission actually shifting so the car is actually a lot faster when left in S+ (automatic) compared to manual mode.
Yes, it's not slow unless you use the paddles. I use automatic mode, which is perfect and the shifts are 100ms

Both facelift and pre had 7 speed transmission. The facelift has a MCT the pre has a torque converter.
