I've been watching this since the beginning and at first I have to admit I was like why??? But man I give all the credit in the world for doing this it's been amazing to watch I like that you had the little fella involved once in awhile that was cool to see, my son wanted no part in helping me with my cars when he was little now he's grown up and he was like I wish I would of payed more attention dad because he's finding out cars are expensive to take in to fix, but keep up the great work it's been fun to watch!
Just found you this morning, looking at all the content, I have some catching up to do. This is what I love to do, I love building panels from scratch. good job.
That's progress my friend! Never having to remove those frame rails again. That's a reward in itself! Those minitubs are going to be worth the trouble of relocating the seat belt anchor nuts. Good prudent, idea seam welding along the frame rails for extra strength on a 53 year old car that's going to get an engine with more torque than it had originally. Up in Sudbury at my brother's for Christmas. Finished the brake job on my Niece's car yesterday, started the brake job on one of my brother's cars today. Goes fast with three of us working as s team.....in between stuffing ourselves and opening presents🙃. Can't wait to see all new black AMD sheet metal under that automotive work of art you're resurrecting from dust and rust. Strike on! Malcolm Ottawa Valley
Amazing how you pulled off the whole rear frame rails on your own. But great job doing it. Nice how the "68 Charger is coming back to it's old glory look. Thanks for another great video. Wishing you and yours a Happy and safe Holiday. Cheers.
Same here been watching since the beginning, and just scratching my head as to why. I can't wait to see you driving it. This car is truly a labor of love. If you added up just the hours into this car it would be astronomical.
I absolutely love what your doing keep up the fantastic work buddy. One day I wish I can do what your doing and I love you involve your kids they will cherish that for ever. Hope to be able to do this one day with my sons !!!
You've been busy adding a parts shelf with a stairway nice going to be one Bad A charger and love the 2 post lift that's getting serious about building cars keep going loving the video's
WOW that was a great video. Your thought process for layout is spot on. The whole frame rail install was incredible. I don't know how many hours you put into just this install but I am sure it kept you very busy. Your work areas are always spotless and this is reflected in the work your doing on this car. I am looking forward to next series of videos as you bring this car back from the dead.
My grandfather was a tool and die maker by trade.....from Germany. I was raised on building/re-enforcing everything like a brick shithouse!! I'm with you 200% brother!! Merry Christmas to you and the family!!🎄. Looking forward to the next video. BTW...I was watching a Power Nation video restoring a 72 Chavelle, when your video popped up. I suspended that to watch yours!
Well dang. I'm all caught up. Now I have to actually wait between episodes... I love your mix between presentation/commentary and then actually showing how it's done. Other channels (and heck, TV shows) only give a brief description and a couple minutes of work, then BAM- it's done. After watching your series, I'll definitely be a little less picky when looking at project cars! Here's one for your next Q&A: Since you've obviously poured over every nook and cranny of various body panel catalogs, are there any metal parts that are NOT available for a Charger of this body style?
Man seeing u work on ur charger has got me motivated to work on my lady and has just moved under her own power for the first time in 2 years so thanks alot mate and merry christmas.
Every time i see this beauty coming together it make's me come to see more i love this car its my favorite Ps:sorry for my english hope its not so bad greetings and even if it's late marry christmas from germany
I am with you on the welds. I fully welded a bunch of parts on my Scout that were originally just spot welded. Necessary or not it definitely gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Looking forward to this all day. Couldn’t stay up late to watch. I haven’t been feeling all to well. But that’s not that important. It’ll probably be gone by the end of the day.
You do some excellent top notch work. I often wonder how UA-camrs build an audience, and then I noticed that they often do a collaboration with another UA-camr that has a much bigger audience. This only works when the work is top notch, which yours is. Months ago I met Derrek of Vice Grip Garage. I'm in Minneapolis and he was in Coon Rapids, but he's now moved to the Nashville area and just hit a million subscribers. He does occasionally do shout outs for other channels, but I bet if you did a little bit of work on one of his cars and he did a shout out, your subscribers would skyrocket. Just a thought... I'm loving this series, and I'm excited to learn about your other cars. I'm going to go watch those uploads next.
This is a great channel. I'm surprised your channel doesn't have way more subscribers. I bet in time it will grow quite a bit if you continue the way you are. It's great watching you bring these cool cars back from the dead. Have a Happy and prosperous New year!✌
Another Great episode on critical car support, butt welding, and uni-body structure. If I ever see you at Javier's: I'm buying. Sure hope this car doesn't crab.
Again a great job of yours! I'm always happy when there's a new video that shows the progress on the car. I wish you and your family a Happy NEW YEAR 2022!🍾🥂🍻😎
Enjoyed the Video looked really nice, was glad it squared up. Have a happy New Year looking forward to seeing the next video. Bobbie from Georgetown Indiana.

Really nice seeing how you are going about putting all the new pieces in. Any chance you could make the music the same volume as your voice segments? I end up turning the volume up and down during your videos.
Been following the build since the beginning. Since you went with a mini tub and just replaced the spring mounts, do you plan on doing a leaf spring relocation to maximize the available room with the mini tubs? Keep up the great work.
Sounds great buddy and what great little Christmas gift can’t wait to see the rear floor and trunk pan to go in you are doing a great job sure love to see this car when it’s done keep up the great job hope your family Christmas going great
Man that guitar tone when you was welding the sub...been chasin' that tone for decades! Another curiosity question: are you going to do what a lot of Unibody guys are doing to these, and connect the rear sub to the front clip, making it a one-piece chassis?
Hey, did I miss something, my last video I watched, you just hung the quarter panel, I never seen the frame rails cut. Did you see the video last month or so of the frame sub connectors Chris Songbird put on Mayhem, from the rear all the way up to the front, you talk about strength. It is amazing how thin those frame rails really are and handled all of the tork. He built fully boxed connectors, for a super rigid frame, it wasn`t that big of a job, he also bitches about AMD, calls it China junk, because nothing ever fits right, you don`t seem to have that problem. Love the vids, can`t wait for more. Joe from Michigan.
AMD is by far the best quality in my opinion. Maybe I’m just a little more optimistic! The rear quarters are just pinned into place with sheet metal screws for now until I get the trunk pan installed.
Maybe I missed it in your first one, or I just forgot, it was a while ago. But how did you get the spot weld holes to line up on the rail to floor pan? Is that really a critical detail? Or do you think just drilling holes a set distance apart and spot welding them would be sufficient?
No, they are were only two holes that were in the rails that I was able to match up to the floor pan. Gave me a little more confidence that the new rails went in the same place as the old!
Man oh man bro, you sure are getting that charger up really fast. So tell me, are you going to undercoat the bottom of the car. You could color match the undercoating so you can put it on part of the rocker panel.
@@rustbucketrestos6511 oh ok, what's lizard skin though. I thought I'd put the idea out there. I know how much time and work has went into it and preserving it would be my key

Hey man. I’ve been studying all the 68 episode series. How do I watch episode 25? I really appreciate your work and taking the time to make videos. Great job!
I tend to run as hot as I can without burning through or without melting the wire before it hits the metal. My welder is a little different. It just has settings 1-6. No voltage or amp adjustment. I run it between 3-4 and wire speed at 3.8.

I do. I’ve had to pull it all the way out 2-3 times to reel it evenly across the reel. As long as I don’t reel it all up on one side it goes back in for the most part. Hope all is well with you! Can’t wait to see the next jump!
@Rust Bucket Resto’s awesome bro. I bought 2 of the other ones they sell and never had an issue with the reel itself. This one here sucks. My General lee is at Birdsong junkerups place in Las Vegas. I am restoring a 69 for a friend / customer now. I've watched all your videos.
