Just got the gadget, really good for knowing distances travelled, its great for finding shortest route in the city. The voltage display is good for knowing how well your alternator is performing also, its a great bonus.
Hello Bug, You'll find in a Cherokee there's really no good place to mount it other than right on the steering column and as far as the inclinator goes I wouldn't buy it for that, It is a little over sensitive. But the other features like you mentioned are pretty cool.
This one has a very nice housing but still like the Autool x90 Satellite GPS version with all the options up front instead of the press to scroll through display functions.
pitch & roll are very sensitive, and this make the product really annoying when alarming also leveling indicator moving very fast which make it un useful. Wish if there is solution. Other feature are good and helpful also materials used make it very rigid. Screen resolution very clear.

I'm going to buy this to replace the faulty speedometer on my Toyota Pickup that is my daily driver. I've been using an app on my cellphone as my speedometer for almost 6 years by now and I think its time to replace it with something more permanent. I assume the inclinometer is "too sensitive" because its not meant to be used while driving on paved roads, but to be used while rock crawling.
Well I think the the slope meter will also be way too sensitive when rock crawling your vehicle is constantly bouncing around even if you are just going very slow. It does work great for a speedometer though. 👍

In other words, can it be mounted with the base to the right at 90 degrees and still be readable and calibrated level? Thank you again.
I’ll reply to myself. Yes, it is possible to calibrate zero X/Z position even when mounted at 90 degrees, which is great. The downside is that the display doesn’t rotate, so while that works, it displays sideways and that’s arguably unusable :-(. Awesome unit otherwise! Super fast GPS lock, well thought-out displays. The voltage display is, in fact, very useful if you use the battery to USB wire as it then shows the actual battery voltage rather than just the USB adapter constant 5V voltage.

Whatever the settings were set at before you turn it off will return when you turn it back on like the color, time, screen etc.

Can the tilt/inclinometer be calibrated to level zero after installation? In case the mount surface isn’t perfectly level itself.
yes after installing the X95 it can be zeroed to level in the menu.

No there are no monthly fees or anything like that other than paying for the unit that is the only cost.

So you can't turn off the beeping on the inclinometer screen? seems like a pretty useful guage tho when going off road
Yes you can turn off the beeping In the settings mode.
What's the point of knowing how many sattalights you can see? Is it for people who use a satalight phone or somthing?
No it's just going to give you the most accurate readings and with no interruption in service to the device.

Both an alarm sounds but only once, and the display changes to red when over speed. And yes, you can set it for 10 km per hour
