One of the most advanced "Car HUD" devices that I have seen and tested until now and by far more than a simple heads up display. This device integrates several main features such as HUD, OBD2 DTC & PID reader and a GPS. The HUD is highly customizable with several type of graphical interfaces and can show a lot of info regarding the car. The OBD2 interface is able to scan and report for stored and pending DTC - diagnostic trouble codes, it also has a PID scan function and will show you a lot of extra info such a fueling loop, ECT, IAT, MAP, etc. The GPS functionality enables this HUD to also show information such as speed, heading, altitude and time without needing to connect to any other devices. Last but not least this device is one of the few existing that support HEV and PHEV cars where the ICE - internal combustion engine doesn't run all the time.

It should probably work ok. When this was initially sold it mentioned that it doesn't work with hybrids, yet it works perfectly on my plug in hybrid.
I've had this one for about 2 weeks and then one day it suddenly stopped working. But it wasn't bad at all and also works for a Volvo V70 p3 👍

Obd 2 has a wire for always on and switched power so obd 2 port does supply constant voltage even when key is off.
Not on all cars, on some Fords the OBD port will stop supplying constant voltage when the key is in off position.
what is the usb cable for ? if the HUD only have 1 usb port
Probably to reprogram the firmware.
Is it the Oil engine temperature or the transmission oil temperature?

Yes it can also show oil temperature.

Yes, on some models it can show transmission temperature, but keep in mind that these units are constantly updated and some of their features change. If I start in OBD2 mode then I don't get any mph speed... so frustrating. Only when I choose GPS mode that I get mph working but then I don't have rpm
I think you can change from settings so you see the speed in OBD2 mode.
Hi, do you know if this is compatible with a 2008 daewoo matiz 1.0 (Chevrolet Spark) the 7 is OBD2 but ive been told it doesnt work in all cars, can someome tell me?
If your car works with a cheap ELM327 and android apps such as Torque then it will probably work fine with this display also.

Pretty much any car newer than 1995 has an OBD II port so yes it will

This unit seems to be cloned and rebranded in a million models. It's mostly up to the H/W and F/W version. So if you are lucky you can get a good one like I did, otherwise it might not be ok.

Yes
Since it uses OBD port.. will it harm the car any way in the long run?
No, there is no damage or harm. The only thing that can happen is to get some battery drain while the car is off. Some manufacturers keep the OBD port supplied with battery power so this will keep the OBD reader in standby, but the drain is very small.

U didn't started the engine, what you showing in this vdo
The car is "started", this is the most important thing as all other OBD scanners will not work and not read any kind of info while the car runs on EV power with the internal combustion engine off. With the engine started you get the working RPM meter, while the rest of indicators such as temperature continue to work and show data even in EV mode.
