    I just watched it for the umpteenth time---I was struck with the fact that this is so much more classy and meaningful than the Dylan version. The whole lot of them walked out in front of the audience, sat down, not a worry one in their minds at all. They totally had it all together--no doubts, no misgivings, they knew exactly how it would be---PURE EXCELLENCE. Jerry and Chet and the others just worked like a machine, they obviously had no apprehensions. Wonderful video, hope it stays here a long time. Wow---26 years ago, hard to believe.

    • @pickerdad8402
      @pickerdad8402 6 років тому +2

      Agree completely. Seemingly without any effort at all, Jerry gave this standby a totally new harmonic structure from the very first note. So rare that we see Chet take a full length solo, and this one is a masterwork. And to top it off, Pat Bergeson's guitar is both tasteful and tasty, and gives yet another interpretation to what I always thought of as a lonesome blues. This one's going in my vault.
