I'm a lefty & this really helped me. I'm almost at my 2yr mark & wanna do 2strand twists but couldn't figure out how. Now I got it. Thanks again & beautiful work
I came here to learn how to do a retwist with the two strand twists better because my man’s hair kept unraveling too! This is my first time ever doing a retwist and also my first Time styling it but I wanted to learn so I could do his hair and he wouldn’t have to go get it done so I’m definitely an open book when it comes to wanting to learn and do things right and make it look good! Thank you for this video I just did one of his two strand twists over bc like I said it kept unraveling and now I’m about to do his whole head over again 😂 😊
You should try turtle berry jam with spirits it holds the style way longer but sad to say nobody ever makes this gel to sell only for personal use plus turtle berry jel grows your hair plus its natural
I wonder is there a difference between retwisting it all first, letting it dry THEN two strand twisting? Versus two strand twisting it as you retwist?? I'm trying to figure out if one is better than the other 🤔
You did such an amazing job!!!! I'm a beginner with doing dreads I started doing them in my husband's head in February of this year and even though I still need to improve... I get comments on my work, and I'm so proud!!!
Thank you for being honest about washing and conditioning the dreadlocks. I have a lot of dirt, product build up and lint in my hair. I was wondering how you would remove all of this dirt and lint from your hair? your clients hair look so nice and clean I know you're in the United States I'm in Canada are you in Buffalo? I have used apple cider vinegar and banking soda and a lot of product buildup was removed however they were lots of lint built up I don't know how to solve that issue? Thanks you for any simple maintenance advice for healthy strong dreadlocks.
Bottom line is.........if locs are twisted to the left, 2 strand them to the right, if locs are twisted to the right, 2 strand them to the left? Correct? Thanks for this tutorial! xoxo
Thanks for the video! When would you say a person’s locs are mature enough for this style? I’ve been wanting two strand twist, but am afraid my locs aren’t mature enough yet. I’ll be 7 months instant loc’d this month.
Hi how long does this style take you? I'm trying to speed up how long I take doing this style on clients and could use some advice if you could share some tips because I usually take 3 hours lol
Hi, I am finally about to start my loc journey but I don’t know how to start! Should I do coils or two strands. I know I love the distressed type look!
Well it really just depends on how you want it to look. You can eventually get them to look the same once loc’d no matter which one you get so it really just depends on how you want them to look starting out. If you get twists to start, you can either keep the two strands in and let those loc up or do a twist out and let those be how you start out. Me personally I prefer coils which is how I started mine because I really liked the way they looked when I first got them and I maintain my own locs so I do little maintenance consistently so I can preserve the starter locs look but that’s just me. So yeah it just depends on what you want, from my experience.
Hey friend I literally got mine done last night I decided on two strand so if I change my mind it’ll be easier to untwist as opposed to combing out the coil locs and you can never go wrong with a twist out! I’m so in awe of them and am excited to see my growth journey
Retwist to the right and two strand to the left...or if u retwist to the left two strand to the right...comes out perfect every time..
This comment just saved me!! Thank you so much!!
The secret formula ❤️ so happy too finally know what I've been doing wrong
This really cleared everything up for me 😍
This just saved my life!
Wouldn't you be untwisting the loc
I love the mentions of not being perfect and will fix it. That statement itself speaks volumes🙌🏾
🥰❤️

That looks great. Thank you so much for a wonderful visual explanation.
I wonder is there a difference between retwisting it all first, letting it dry THEN two strand twisting?
Versus two strand twisting it as you retwist??
I'm trying to figure out if one is better than the other 🤔
Did you ever figure out?
I usually re twist and two strand twist at once then move on
@@rssshuuD897 I agree! Either that or I two strand twist mine after a few days of getting the retwist
You did such an amazing job!!!! I'm a beginner with doing dreads I started doing them in my husband's head in February of this year and even though I still need to improve... I get comments on my work, and I'm so proud!!!

How much should this style cost on average
Bottom line is.........if locs are twisted to the left, 2 strand them to the right, if locs are twisted to the right, 2 strand them to the left? Correct? Thanks for this tutorial! xoxo
Whew!! Yes that’s it ❤️
Thanks for the video, what oil did you use in the beginning?
What shampoo conditioner do you suggest for long natural locs?
After twisting my locs with gel for how many days will it take before washing
does it matter the direction you retwist in ?? bc i usually go right on retwist and on two strand
No it doesn’t matter hun. It can be done both ways.
Once you start twisting on one direction you need to keep going in that same direction. I twist clock wise 🤞
Aww you are so sweet and paitent and we'll spoken also you did an amazing job
Thank you I really appreciate it ❤️

@@solashaychannel okay that makes me feel better 😂 i stress so much about my timing tho but i did just start so i know it will come with time lol
Does it not cause alot of build up ?

Doing this to your own head is really a workout
