Yeah, it’s frustrating when your coop teammate is a man-child. C0 Zhongli has only 1% contribution in coop battle, unless it’s dps or physical
This. I have no problem with people bringing C0 Zhongli as long as it can contribute to the damage. Physical or heck burst damage c0 zhongli's are welcome but when they're not only c0 but just a shield bot... Then why are you even there? 🤦🤦
Yes zhonglis big problem is that he doesnt share his shield until you have c2 and its not even everytime(i think its only after burst.) Its really a shame because i absolutely love to play this character but i also coop a lot
@@alinee7698 as a C2 zhongli haver with a favonius lance and careful pillar placement you can basically get his burst up even before the cooldown ends

I love zhongli but I’ll admit he is quite useless against azdaha in co-op without c2. Like c0 zhongli can be good for co-op if his meteorite can actually turn the mobs into stone, but if not then there’s just no point in bringing him at all. The way a c1 Layla contributes more to azdaha then c0 zhongli is so funny to me 😂
Yeah, that's why I bring c1 Layla to co-op even though her shield might be waay less stronger than Zhongli and break easily, but at least I'm helping my teammates rather than just protecting myself with a thicc shield. 😂 it's just selfish.
Also I think Azdaha has geo resistance too so Zhongli's probably not the best character to use in his domain 😅

As a c0 burst support zhongli haver I don't even dare bring him to co-op since he doesn't contribute much. Also, I always give way to the host when they want to bring the same char. Anyway nice choice of bgm/music (not me jamming to it instead of paying attention to the vid lol).
You might not be able to use your C6 Zhongli, but you managed to get one of the luckiest co-op teams

Even without communication you should never bring a shield bot c0 Zhongli to co-op.
- Can shield-bots deal dmg? No.
- Can c0 shield teammate? No.
- Can c0 heal? No.
The only thing a shield-bot c0 do is 20% res on all dmg, which only happens if you stay close to the enemies, at the expense of everything else.
Is communication necessary? Yes. But so is knowing that you have the responsibility to contribute to the co-op. It’s called co-op, not everyone-for-themselves, for a reason.
And if anyone should reach out first in this situation, it’s the c0 Zhongli user. Maybe they want to farm his friendship, or is a newbie who has no healer/support/dps decently built and that’s fine. But in that case they need to state that this is a c0 shield-bot and for these reasons they can only use Zhongli and need to be carried so that the others choose their characters accordingly.
Heck I once went in with a 20Cr/200Cdmg c1 Heizou and said that I hadn’t been lucky with artifact but wanted to farm his friendship and therefore needed to be carried and my teammates were ok with it too. You just need to ask politely (and maybe pull out your r5 catch c2 zhongli if they refuse)

Normally I will look at other players weapon if their weapon is much better than mine I will just give way..
In co op I always feel bad when I see another Yoimiya main because they probably have a better build then me but she’s my only well built character so if I want to contribute I have to use her 😥
No your situation is different. The problem is when someone has multiple well built characters but decides not to use a different one when there's someone else like you who wants to use them too. You don't have to worry about what other ppl think. Just tell them you don't have other characters that are well built and I'm sure 99% of them will understand and switch to someone else :)

Don’t be afraid of people in coop man.
If you know you have the better character, then tell them.
If you’re sure that they will be useless then leave that coop team and find another one.
I’m not saying to trashtalk them but if they don’t care then don’t waste your time on them.
Coop is used to make things easier especially if your characters aren’t well built.
The main point of coop in domains and bosses is finding other good players to help you farm.
If they won’t cooperate then just leave them and don’t help them, they find good people to team up with but they just won’t cooperate when someone else has a better character.

True. I was hosting one time and someone had a c3 Scara that was lvl 90 the other had c0 Scara at lvl 80. I told the lower lvled person if they could switch. They got mad and starting whining for like a while. So I uh kicked em lol cos they were wasting time and like you said if they don't want to cooperate why co op.

I remember when I first joined a coop I'm so scared, I even couldnt manage to say that I only had Ganyu as the most well-built character and i couldn't switch to anyone else, i didnt even have a healer and rely on food.
Now I can at least >33 stars Abyss and just bring a dps or Bennett to everywhere to help them

I bet they just wanted friendship levels for their zhongli, or maybe just pulled him and wants to use him more. There’s no point in silently changing character then judging other people’s build/wallet/weapons LOL
Or the c0 shield-bot can ask for help nicely if they can’t contribute to the co-op (it’s called co-op, not everyone-for-themselves, for a reason).
It’s okay to not have the most meta characters, or the most meta builds, but they need to state that they need help so others know what to do in that situation. What if the other 2 ppl were newbies who can’t clear this boss alone and yet were trying their best to contribute? In that case isn’t it unfair for a c0 shield-bot who only cares about their own survival/enjoyment to also receive the same reward off of the other two’s efforts?
Once again, it’s okay to need help, but you don’t expect people to politely ask if they have the permission to help you. You ask others nicely for help if you need it.

Yeah, I almost never use Zhongli in weekly bosses coop. He's my favorite character in this game and I love playing him but I only have him at C0, I don't wanna be a burden😞 I wish I had his C2 but I can't really spend that much money on one character since I prefer having multiple units. I build him burst dps with staff of homa, so he does deal some damage, but at that point I rather use Diona, Bennett or Kokomi.
if its a decent amount of damage (comparable to that of a sub dps or higher) id say you could get away with bringing zhongli in if there is someone else bringing a healer or you may want to mention your zhongli is a damage dealer and not c2

The only time I brought my C0 zhongli was with my friend to to a troll team, I finished the boss with my 2000 damage zhongli while having a blast and everyone cheering x)

I hate this too. Someone forced me to swap my level 90 hu tao for their level 60 in the dragonspine domain. Then when I pulled out Diluc, they kicked me out.
So I simply farm alone.
Ive done thousands of coop domains and having bad experiences with jerks is few and far between. Don't let those few bad experiences keep you from coop because the good outweighs the bad by a lot.
If i were you, i would let that Zhongli main know that my Zhongli is c6 even if it sounds arrogant just for the sake of keeping everyone in the party alive. Just saying.
All those frustration could be avoided with communication.
Since you are the host, maybe Sherlock will listen had you asked them to switch.

Oh my god. This is so painful to watch. Even my c0 burst damage dealer has consistent uptime of burst with favonius lance and has bigger damage on his burst. 😭😭 Why is he using black tassel on coop ??? He can't even consistently burst because of it.
i don't mind C0 zhonglis in coop since, if well built, they do absolutely decent damage (even with hp sands and goblet mine easily hits 3K with autos), but bringing C0 zhongli to azhdaha is literally pointless because of his insane geo and physical resistance. ESPECIALLY when it is clearly a shieldbot build with black tassel who rushes to hold E the moment it's CD ends. like, you shielded yourself, good for you, now what are you gonna do when all your teammates die? tickle azhdaha to death? honestly, annoying asf, not because of selfishness (i know how to dodge and i always have nre, i'll be fine), but because of absolute stupidity and ignorance. seems like they joined the battle not to help the team win, but to participate in "i can't afford losing a single hp" challenge.

A bit of topic but I really wish c2+ Zhonglis could tell us their c2+. I remember I joined as Koko this one time and this c2 Zhongli didn't communicate. Another person chose Hu Tao and another Ayato. So the whole time I felt I was doing more harm than good :( So I basically stayed back. When I'm Koko I like being the only person keeping us alive, the only character I'm fine with being Deyha. So I prefer communication
To be honest I'm a C2 Zhongli user but I'm afraid to tell people that mine is C2 bc

- C2 can only shield when Q, which isn't much of a problem for Zhongli, but I do f up sometimes and not have my Q off cooldown (and I'm extra scared when Hu Tao users are involved)

Typically, I dont use my c0 zhongli in Azdaha's domain. I rather use characters that can contribute to the damage than someone who doesn't do anything other than provide shields for oneself. Same reason in coop domains, I'll use c0 zhongli, but ONLY because he does dmg with his burst and I can get it repeatedly.

I don't really see the issue. I've got C6 Zhongli but I still let people play Zhongli if they want even if they're C0. Coop is supposed to be fun. I find it more fun that we actually struggle a little with the chars we bring. If it doesn't work we'd just leave and try a different team. No big deal, smh.

The issue is azhdaha has 70% geo and 40% phy resis, so those who use him there either r trolling or have 1 brain cell.

My yao yao and zhongli have the same build, but lately I just have been leaving it on yao yao bc I'd never take my c0 zhongli into co op and he doesn't even need the artifacts anyway, you can literally just put him on any support artifact with an HP main stat
played on my alt for reasons and i didnt have my c4 zhongli so i just went w/ my c0 one but i mean the team did have like 2 healers so they didnt mind much its just that when i was abt to get my reward i forgot that i already claimed a reward this week 😞😞

Dunno about other ppl, but personally I'd rather have someone bring a lv1 character to Azhdaha than bring lv90 C0-1 Zhongli tho...bcs when someone pick Zhongli in Azhdaha, a lot of times, the other ppl will just trust that you have C2 and don't bring any other shielder or healer in...If you just made it clear you want a carry and the team lets you without any toxicity, at least someone else might help bring another healer or shielder in and it might end a lot faster...Just my opinion tho...Not like you can help deal any dmg against boss with 70% geo resistance anyway, so I see no point of bringing Zhongli just so you alone can survive while everyone else dies...

i got zhongli for myself to help in early game but later on i ended up building diona (i already had her c2) so that i could shield people in coop. I only ever brought my c0 zhongli to coop when i played with one friend and couldn't survive without him
Cases like this is the reason I practiced solo not only because I can find my optimal character to use in the domain, but to find possible alternatives depending on the situation. But yeah, communication is most important when in co-op otherwise the whole team could start pointing fingers and blaming others.
my zhongli is c0 and i knowingly never brought him into co-op cause id feel so bad for the others if i basically just run around not getting hurt while they do all the work

My Venti is a 3 crowned well built dps with c2 and pole star. But they dont let me take him even if i took him first and they have other good/better chars.

How do you make your Q do 1k-2k damage with your venti? My E does and charge shots do more damage then my Q- it only do around 700 damage
Hi venti main here, I haven't tried em but did it with atk. 2k atk is average for venti and you could easily reach 3k burst with vv and 1:2 crit. I currently using 2 atk and 2 vv and he did almost 4k burst

I wonder what's ur stats. I have 30k hp, 2007 atk (homa passive, hp less than 50%), 205 cd, 64 cr, and I only hit 97k with his shield shredd only.
I spent a year in r/zhonglimains, and from what I've noticed, most like to exaggerate abt their dmg for sm reason.
My c0 zhongli can do 5x that damage on a support build 😭

4pc tenacity of millelith hp sands, hp goblet, crit rate or hp hat depending on what you lack. go for over 40k hp and 50/100 cr/cd and ~150% er
tenacity will buff yourself and your team when zhonglis pillar hits enemies and have some crit rate so his burst does damage.
@@machinegun_ Thank you! A friend told me I should do triple hp since shield bot is better because that way I don’t lose out on dps or something. But I have artifacts saved, just need to get the 4pc of tenacity set for him. So hopefully once I get him I’ll know where I need to work on wether it be crit or er if I’m missing a bit on it
Hi! Not sure who told you shield bot is strong. It is as it sounds. He is a shield bot and does no damage. Once you get him, you can play around with how much HP you need. I’m a terrible player but 30k HP gives me a good enough shield. If you build triple HP, you do lose out on damage, but Zhongli isn’t going to provide a lot of damage to begin with.
If you had c2, I’d probably recommend 4pc tenacity HP/HP/Crit rate, favonius lance. Good luck!!

My casual Barbara is better than that, with 1k hits, 25k on that watatsumi set per 3 sec, and 1,2k heals per hit

Bringing or using C0 Zhongli is just hella selfish as I learned from experience so I try using mine if its really necessary as I built mine for just the shield and bringing C2 Zhongli is good enough.
Moral of the Story never bring C1 or C0 Zhongli to a domain or co-op
