I was on the other side of this. My buddy carried me through almost all of Dragonspine. I was so confused the whole time. 😢 I wasn't intentionally trying to be annoying. I'm surprised they were able to deal with me messing up so much.
When I started and was doing dragonspine I had 3 people come to my world randomly. They were all so nice and legit did everything. I was so behind them and when I caught up they were done and waiting for me. Then we friend requested each other lol
SAME, i was like, what am i doing with my Life? They were running through all DragonSpine and they didnt explain me anything
They were just saying "follow me", "activate this", "pick this"
I didnt know even we were doing a mission, i thought they were just random puzzle
same, difference is i wasnt new but somehow still confused....
you all r so lucky to have someone so patient... my friend literally scolded me for every little wrong thing i did and i literally felt so confused and guilty the entire time bcs i genuinely did not know what to click and what the objective really was- i was afraid to ask stuff too bcs she gets all snappy
@@glyde6865 that is not a friend. That is someone who expect newbies to know everything right off the bat. I kept apologizing to my one friend who helped me finish dragonspine every time I failed to get to where he was and he said it was fine. Even tried to find other ways to make it easier for me.

It felt as if I was the one offering help, the people were extremely rude because I (ar18) didn't understand the mechanics of puzzles in dragonspine, when I help newbies I just tell them what to do right away, because I don't want to hurt them, but I agree with you, I guess I kinda overreacted

That has happened to me too, when I do coop or accept someone in my world and they are asking for help with a quest, I always try to help them(a lot of times with this dragonspine quest...) and seriously, sometimes is annoying how many times I would need to go back even though they were following me and I was jumping all the time for them to know were I was...
Thats why i take an archer that has contrasting colors of dragonspine (amber, tighnari, fishcl etc.) and just keep shooting at them until they follow me lol

man I still remember when i first did that quest in patch 1.3, a 15 yr old girl was helping me with it lol!
and then I needed help with bosses, so one day, I joined her world.
"Do not join without asking", then I got kicked.
I unfriended her, but till this day, whenever I help out low ARs with dragonspine, I get reminded of that silly goose.

@@BlueRay7989 Some people have it to let anyone enter without needing you to accept a request to join your world, they can enter whenever they want if you have it like that
This is why I never asked for help from anyone and just watched yt videos to complete the quests even the most difficult ones
I still remember the first time when i got a join world request and i accepted...i didn't even asked them for help or anything but they did helped me out with a lot of difficult stuff when i was new and they didn't even asked for a chest or something in return just.. doing silly things with a new player and doing some missions was enough i guess ... Now it's one of my favourite things to just help the lower level players and watch as they get pretty excited over discovering new stuff in their world

I remember being a low ar and being terrified of dragonspine. I never actually asked for help in coop because i was a very intoverted player back then (now coop is my favorite thing and so is dragonspine)
Started my alt and the first thing i did was dragonspine as soon as i could. Especially the fight in the cavern is so much easier at a low ar.

Sama with me. And i know that dragonspine quest is LONG quest so i do it my self..like how can you bother someone with your quest for hours? Except maybe Its your best friend.

Although now dragonspine is my favorite place to go and hang out, i have the map memorized so when i want ill go into players with lower ar and offer help with dragonspine.
Helped tons of players on this quest and I`ve had a lot of similar experiences, it just brings me joy to be able to help other players enjoy the game
I did this with my AR16 friend… It took 1.5H (we had vc so it helped a lot)
I later did it with another friend. which took 75Min.
And two randoms that each took 3H.

You were never forced to watch the stream…plus you didn’t do anything and it’s not the persons fault they didn’t know much about genshin they are just a beginner.

As a newbie, I struggled to complete Dragonspine too. So I met a strong player who helped me with the puzzles. I always allow players with good manners to freely roam and explore my Teyvat. I don't care if they're newbies, just mind your manners and that's all.

I made a friend when both of us were about ar 23. We used to leave the drops for each other cause we had no idea it also spawns separately in co op.
It’s crazy to see how long it’s taken them to do it, I had help from a rank 56, did it in like 30 mins or less, barely learnt anything coz she did most of it for me but I do remember the scarlet quartz. Probably best to explore genshin by urself coz u get to experience the FUN in the game instead of just relying on ppl😂
Agreed. The only exception to this rule it should be when the enemies are way too strong.
I've never let people into my world until ar 50 or so, because I wanted to figure out and solve everything by myself, and I didn't even coop in artifact domains and did them myself for the same reason, can you tell that I agree?

deadass did this dragonspine quest soooo many times that i know that place like the back of my hand 💀 some were fun cause they actually followed, but some were frustrating asf lol
When I was a newbie I did that quest all by myself and like others I hated it so much because my team that time was chongyun, jean, xingqiu, and amber which was only there to light the torch. But now I help so many low ar players in that quest that I immediately know what to do and which character should i use to make it easy and faster (venti and yanfei are the best ones). Ngl it kinda grows on me and eventually like the quest even though some coop are like this haha frustrating at first but coop with newbies are fun.

I’m the I one at low AR, but what’s annoying is when I’m in the middle of just doing commissions, higher AR players try to join my co-op world just to say, do you need help? I swear it’s so annoying because I don’t need help all the time and that’s the only thing they ask and not anything else. I’m AR 25 btw, I’m living pain because of that stupid cube (electro hypostasis)
Electro should be one of the easiest cubes. I generally use Noelle for the shield, Kaeya for DPS, Barbara in case I get hit, and Yanfei for additional damage. The thing you need to remember is run. There is probably better way, but I run in circle, so the attacks won't hit me and when cube's 'inside' is exposed I hit as much as I can. Then run again. Hopefully it's won't be pain for you soon ^^
@@Aki0Hikari that should be helpful, I get that but the thing that I struggle with is breaking the revival prisms at the end. Btw, my team is fischl(I don’t use for electro bosses), ningguang, beidou(only for the attacks), and Candace. If you have any suggestions for any of my team characters you can tell me
@@Lostbeams I'm not an expert, but I wouldn't use the same element for fights, so I wouldn't use Beidou there. For the revival prisms I use Keaya burst, cause you need to destroy it with element, his burst is great for that.
@@Aki0Hikari yes what I meant was using beidou for her basic attacks with the claymore bc she is the only character on my team who has a 5 star weapon, but basically I just use her basic attack but thanks for giving me the kaeya tip
@@Lostbeams What world level you are? I'm on 5 (didn't do ascend quest for a long time now) and I don't use any 5 star weapon or character.
If you're on EU server and want it I can help you figure out your way to deal with it.
Dragonspine was total nightmare, I remembered how co-op never crossed my mind and I used to google the mission names one by one whenever I get stuck or clueless on what am I supposed to do, I'm really thankful for youtubers that made video walkthroughs for various quests, they are useful even when I'm at high AR.
I raged too with my friend. Kept telling her to go to statue of seven, to use fire, to break the rock, everything. Turns out she didn't know about the sheer cold mechanism bc she didn't read the text abt sheer cold, or any tutorial stuff. Got real mad for the whole of 2hr helping her

That happened so many times.... I just feel bad (and relate to them when I first joined the game) just leaving them behind, so I waste my time until they say they are finished.... I'm always helping low ar I my main cuz I'm bored in my main when resinless. I relate to them too so that's another reason
thinking back there is someone help me few years back when I was newbie. the puzzle that you show is very hard for newbie to understand. I used phone and my internet is bad, the lag is unbelievable, I said sorry and thank you so many times because I'm frustrated I can't understand the mechanism. that person is like saint, so patience in handling me and never give up. she brings me from monstadt to liyue by passing using dragonspine. thinking back she can just show me the back alley (shortcuts) but instead she lead me to dragonspine waypoint and solved lot of puzzles.i hope my story reach to her so I can thank her properly.
Bro low ar players are one of the most wholesome people so far in this game

I remember getting irritated while helping a newbie with this quest too. Like bro, just follow me and do as i say. But apparently, newbies fear the sheer cold too much unlike veterans and pros and keep running for a torch or teleport.
you’d normally help them but you do the opposite this time, very interesting I’m excited.
I mostly help newbies when I have time, they're not so bad, co-op ppl are just confused :'). That's how I get friends-
thanks to kind people that helped me start dragonspine and do this quest. we were done in like 10 min.

I've experienced this aswell haha and I was very mad back then and want to scold them but they're so innocent...they dont even know how to tp to wp or domain and don't even know what is pyro mean and the character 😭 the hardest part was the domain...they keep freezing and random jump or gliding everywhere
I like to help in coop~ since I stayed in AR35 for a year or so, i can only help AR35 below. Most of the pepz i joined in are doing dragonspine quest!
Let’s just say i have enough patience to help them. What i do tho is I follow them. I let them explore the area. Just help them with obstacles, explain how mechanics work, and show them where the chests are. But they’re totally leading the way.

i've helped about 6 low ar with their dragonspine quest, and lets just say.... it's easier when there's 3 high ar helping. ahaha helping them with yourself is fun, but long, long. but when there's another high ar joining in the lower ar with their dragonspine quest it goes way much faster, and a lot more fun. because while one high ar is explaining, the other 2 high ar runs and does the job

Just wanna share a bit of my own opinion after watching your video.
I think you have a very good mindset of wanting to help other people in Genshin to progress, is fully normal about it.
I think it is more appreciated if you can show more consideration for a Newbie.
Communication: He is 16 years old. For people who just been through Covid-19 and stuck at home, most of them don't really know how to communicate well with strangers. For Skylux, he did bring out a few good conversation of getting to know you more first. He is basically looking to have some small talk, which i think is a very good attitude of him instead of just playing the game itself. Making joke of what he said to you feels a bit.... ( U know what i mean)
Following command: Personally if i am 16 years old, i just playing my game here, suddenly a stranger come to know me, and bring me everywhere, i don't expect myself to 100% listen to him lol. And so much new stuff in the game, i would be overwhelmed, following command seems to be and *Easy* thing for you, but for beginner, it might not.
Confidence: From the way you speak with him, do you notice how much he feel bad on asking your help? the emoji he had >

I'm a new player myself (although I'm not 16), but when I ask for help I'm 1000% listening to other person. If they were getting confused, they should say so. Just a little 'hey, I don't get it, can you explain more?' Is enough.

i am here tonight because i just helped a newbie AR18 on dragonspine quest! I am happy for him as we talking and joking around on chat while doing it not until he's going everywhere, istg sometimes it's annoying but after doing the quest it's worth it

I remember someone using Yelan to help me when I started the game and after thawing the first ice they left and never came back. I swear I listened to their every command and followed them without running into strange places, so then I decided that dragonspine wasn't safe to go alone and ended up finishing that quest at ar50

Imagine how much patience I have when helping atleast 20 new AR players clearing Thaw the Ice and that claymore that needs 3 boxes 💀 I did this when I was bored and I pretty much remembered where some of the major chests are because of that
oh dude i remember now when I got help by THREE FRICKIN lvl 55 players and it still took like one hour and ye holy i must have been so annoyingggg
Helping newbies just makes us want to do the quest for them instead but we can't so we have to be patient but it's hard to be 😂

Yeah helping out with Dragonspine is the worst... but I actually helped out a low AR player with it recently and it went surprisingly well ^^ I think it still took quite some time since the quest is a bit long, but they catch on pretty quick so it wasn't an infuriating experience at all!
They were super grateful for my assistance too. It was pretty nice.

Someone joined my co op said they take something, I didn't know what it was and he never faced me. Went straight to a random place to steal my resources. I kicked them out.
I feel so bad laughing at this especially knowing I was a genshin noob once
Dragonspine was so fucking.... Complex.. i mean think of it like this.. it was released after many patches from monstadt but many new players just go there first after clearing monstadt and the puzzles are quite advanced.. paired with the ridiculous paths... And sheer cold and enemies everywhere.. u can't get anything done in there easily..
+ Many times the place affected by u doing a certain quest is far from the place where u actually do it and you have to know the mountain quite well to understand it.. it's just unfair

Recently helped a newbie through dragonspine despite not being very experienced myself (was like ar35 and it’s been ages since I last visited dragonspine) but it was really fun! What I didn’t know we figured out together. Definitely a very nice coop experience!!
They were listening to me tho so it’s not like they ignored me and went off on their own xD so that made it a whole lot easier

I've helped multiple ppl with this particular quest line over the years lol, I can probably do it in my sleep. When I first did the quest I did it alone I think? I don't think I struggled too much with it, and the puzzles were quite fun despite the cold lol
Oh this back memories
So i was really stuck on this dragonspine quest there was this challenge i needed to do but couldn't cause every time my characters got freeze i just did not had good pyro characters I tried everything. Now after failing every time i decided to leave that quest for ever but a miracle happened when I was ar 34 ig when a higher person joined me and im telling u guys i had my best fucking experience ever cause at that 10 mins before that i helped a newbie to do her dragon spine quest and had came back satisfied and they were literally calling me their saviour. And now this higher person joins me so i thought might as well give it a try. I told them to help me with the dragon spine quest and guys they literally carried me the whole way they defeated everything thawed all the shards , completed the challenge, then got me up at some bigger stone that looks like zhongli's shield and they completed it and after that everything thing was completed the person climbed a statue ig i forgot what it was but the view was beautiful and then they played me a song and my heart literally melted like that was the best day of my life. Really so thankful to that player and yes they are my saviour so glad I met them.
Gladly i got super friendly people to complete my quests . They were very kind i failed like 10 times they didn't get mad at all just asked me to mimic them ❤

idk if it's just me but i loved dragon spine at low ar. Maybe its cus i understood how it worked but I really found it fun to explore
I recall when a Childe Main helped me with this quest, they were nice an everything and helped me fight the monsters since I didn't know how to build my characters back then
I started genshin not knowing how anything worked because I skipped all the tutorials and I still had a better grasp of playing than this person 💀
how lost I was at the beginning:
I didnt know what oculi were and the purpose of statues of the 7 nor how to cook
I once helped someone complete this quest too, they were around 20 AR ( I hadnt completed the dragonspine quest yet ) So, ye both figured it out ourselves, it was pretty fun. Went on for about 2.5 hours then I completed my dragonspine quest after returning to my world.
it's fascinating but also frustrating to see people who get this lost in a game that already holds your hand. Those are the kind who say "no story" to Souls games.
When I started some random kind guy helped me a lot taught me seelie when I lighted up stones the wrong way they watched and laughed and told me how to do

I remember back then i started genshin when it came out on ps4 but really soon, i was ar 12 or so, i stopped playing because other games. then i started again and after some pulles a friend recomended a team i should focus on first (raiden, yanfei, noelle and xingqui for everyone who is interested. the second and last i didn´t liked from the design back then but i now love them) but befor that i let a high AR player join my world and he helped me. it was fun and one point we made a little break and i fought a ruin guard with my back then c0 or c1 amber. it took a long time but i got that thing killed. the other player watched the fight and congratulated me after that. i don´t know if he was just nice but it felt so good. And i am thankful that he helped me with dragonspine while i wasn´t even aiming for that at that day i hadn´t any idea what i wanted to do at that day anyway.

I was helping someone with the dragonspeine quest and we were doing the cryo light up puzzle thing and I told them to light up with cryo in the order the seelie went and they did it wrong I was showing them which ones to light up and they did not and lighted them up randomly ignoring me we were at that puzzle for 30 mins😢😢😢😢😢😢😡😡😡😡🙁🙁☹️☹️☹️🙁☹️

I got very patient helper going through dragonspine. I got confused a lot and the lag for mobile player are quite painful. understanding the order, its not easy when I don't understand what is the machine for. The so easy part are so confusing for new players. the puzzle are so hard to understand. its like when reaching inazuma and everyone complain how hard it is, thats what newbie feel when reaching dragonspine.

In my case I met a player with his ar45. Still he even can't choosing right artifact for yanfei. One day he ask me to help him do a domain on viri, I thought that for sucrose but he said that for yanfei(I mean like why you not asking first). This is not joke. He really didn't trying to find out or asking for a tips. Nothing to comparing but me at Ar25 I do some research from many youtuber even I have some friend and they carry me I still can't understand. I keep positive maybe he just never thinking bout it and so i trying to explain. But when I explained I feel like this man ignore me by responsibleness and making me like just damage machine to solve his domain. Now i blocking him after he told me he too lazy for that. If that man read this maybe. I know that me the one who come to your world first for taking some material and offering you help and accepted your friend request to be kind but please learn how to respect when you need help.

I remember when I was still at ar 37🤣 Asking for help with random players and many of them are ar 50+ and some are 60 helped me. I was still confused af about the mechanics of this game and I probably made them raged as well🤣 But all of them helped me finish those difficult quests. I just finished the Tartara Tales quest in Inazuma with random player again🤣 Even I'm ar 54, I'm still asking for help since I'm only focusing on my serenitea pot and don't have much time on building my characters🤣 It's really fun having someone to play with, even a stranger🤣 But I know who to trust and I don't speak much just asking for help and get it done🤣
I'm the typa person to loose patience quickly and when I see someone do dumb shit like this (even tho ik they're new to the game) it makes me wanna give up on them and leave 😭😭😭

anyways, this brought back so much memories when id make random friends in genshin because i get bored and join people's worlds for fun-all of them would end up with the players asking for help in dragonspine LOL.
honestly it was super wholesome and one time there was a low ar klee main that i helped out and they were so enthusiastic when they saw me switch to albedo huhu. they even asked for a photo next to my zhongli!
oh to be young again and enjoy the simplest things in life~ XD
