    Hi, ive really been enjoying your videos. I was wondering if its possible that you could test the new VW Amarok Biturbo 2.0. I cant find any vids on it, idk why.

      Thanks for your comment! I'll try and look for this model, but i have not seen it on offer at any rent a car business in my area and my connection with the VW dealership is somewhat non-existent 🤭 but i'll see what i can do

    Reasonable performance for this class. Did you feel some drawbacks in terms of comfort because of the 3 cyl. enginge? Like more vibrations or noise than in case of 4 cyl? Because it is more difficult to balance such type of eingines.

      Yes, your last statement is generally true. To be totally honest, i did not pay close attention to this aspect. On the other hand, i did not notice anything upsetting or out of place regarding this aspect, i can imagine that if something was noticeably wrong i would have noticed.

      And yes, the performance is quite ok. I'd say this car's strong point is the decent rolling acceleration from low(ish) speeds. For example, 5.1x sec 60-100 is actually not that bad, but 6.8x sec from 80-120 is not that great 😀 Moreover, if the transmission would allow a strong launch from 0 kmh (and not the sluggish one it has) i'm sure the 0-100 would be sub 10s.

    is this reality test with GPS? is your excel sheet available for download? 🙂

    • @AcceleratingCars
      @AcceleratingCars  Рік тому

      Yes, absolutely all tests are performed with GPS measurement. I'm using the PerformanceBox Touch from Racelogic. You can clearly see it in the videos, it's picture in picture. The Excel sheet is not publicly available right now, but probably will be.
