  • Hi, I'm Ashley, I'm a Permanent Makeup Artist located in British Columbia, Canada, with more than 6 years experience as an artist and educator.
I made this video to address the common confusion I have seen online about colour theory and selecting pigments for clients, particularly in achieving a natural look and predicting outcomes. I will be discussing the pigments I prefer, emphasize the importance of considering your client's natural lip color and skin condition, and debunk some common misconceptions in the world of lip tattooing.
Not every client is the same and adjusting your technique is important for achieving beautiful results. That is what this video is all about.
I hope this helps! If you enjoy this video please give it a thumbs up and subscribe. You can also follow me on my social media.
    Thank you for watching.
*Note: For those who follow me on IG, I'm sorry this video took so long to upload we shot in November and I was waiting to have it edited. I will be adding more free classes to my channel so stay tuned and thanks for being patient.*

Love that it was explained simply! I would love to see more videos on how to pick colors for clients as other videos don’t spend a lot of time on this but loved that you covered it. Keep em coming! 👏🏾

Loved this tutorial about color theory!! I do make up for my friends and family all the time, weddings, proms, homecoming queens (and 3 homecoming kings now woo-hoo 😊) and the more I learn about color theory the better the make up results are on my beautiful canvases ❤ you're so sweet to share your knowledge with us!!

For the last scenario, would you mix the coral color with the Molina for her lip neutralization? Or are you saying to neutralize with the coral first and then go in with the Molina?

Neutralize the lip area first & then go in with Malina :)
