It's days like this one that shows you how much can get done in 24 hours! I couldn't contain my excitement when we heard the news that the boat was ready to go into the water, but then panic set in as I realized how much was left for us to do. To-do lists always help manage that overwhelm feeling, so we took to writing a huge one and bit by bit checking things off.
I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the realities of boat life and can't wait to share adventures from life aboard very, very soon :)

She knows how to keep a pen in her hand and write, not as so many who are forcing their hands and fingers in an unnatural and stressed position. It is not so common, today. My compliments.
My attitude to getting a boat ready to float is anything that can be done in the dock post-splash is never done before! I check the sea cocks and through holes, fenders and engine.. but dragging heavy stuff up ladders like a life raft? That is a dock job!
