New version product link: tinyurl.com/y72vsa4f We made some improvement of the cover after making this video: 1) the pressure regulator is smaller, no longer a bulky circular assembly. 2) The cover is transparent so we can check how much ink is inside.

Hey Kevin I'm looking for this type of an adapter for my HP Envy Inspire 7200e with Cartridge 64. So that I can convert it to a Sublimation Printer and attach a tank to the fill holes. Obviously have to make some cuts in the printer so the hose can travel through. But back to question where can I get the adapters for the cartridges? The printer is new.

I used my cellphone to take pictures as I go along with a project so I can refer back to them if necessary. Taking pictures works for lots of things: printer cartridges, replacing the clutch cable on your motorcycle, replacing an electric socket, working on the car, etc. And for black things I want to mark permanently (like a printer cartridge), I write with a white out pen (which works great for labeling spark plug wires and where the go on the distributor cap, too).

Hi is there any method whatsoever to reset the cartridge after a refill to make the printer think it is full? I have a HP DJ2330 MFD and am using it with a refilled 805 cartridge. The orange cartridge light just keeps blinking after the refill. Any software or button press technique will be great - cannot afford to buy these expensive cartridges any more - each costs like 20% of the MFD price and barely prints 50 pages.

Something about this that's more of a problem is ... The fact that more and more HP printers are starting to refuse cartridges that they think are empty, often without any ways to reset it or force it to continue printing whatsoever (yes, even with the cartridges filled to the brim with refilled ink)

    • @nikkiparis5399

    • @leunca
      @leunca 2 роки тому +6

@@nikkiparis5399 You can't do anything with HP. Even if it has been refilled until the ink is full, if the ink is still read empty and cannot be used to print, the only option is to purchase a new cartridge.
Canon and Epson are simple; simply use the "resetter" software after refill, and the ink is detected as full. Canon and Epson cartridges can be refilled indefinitely until they are damaged.
Buy HP if you rarely print, buy Canon or Epson if you print often.

@@leuncaI have an HP 8025e and I’ve had no problem with refilling the original cartridges which came with printer. So far. You get a pop up message from HP before you install their HP+ software (which gives you 6 months of free HP ink) saying you won’t be able to EVER use 3rd party cartridges once you install their HP+ software. And it was suggested by a UA-camr to turn of “automatic updates” on my printer otherwise I might find that my refilled HP cartridges will suddenly stop working. My only concern is if my HP cartridges which I refill ever get damaged and I have to buy new cartridges if I would have to update my printer’s software in order to use the new cartridges whether they’re 3rd party or HP. And if doing so if I will no longer be able to use 3rd party cartridges and / or refill my HP cartridges.

Your method worked like a charm for my HP Deskjet 2645. Unfortunately it developed a false paper jam problem and although there is no paper or leftover paper parts in it I couldn't get it working again. Your video about another model was informative, but this piece of junk is not even similar, A video for this model for checking the sensors would be greatly appreciated. Although the disassembly of the top part is easy and the insides is seen clearly, I don't want to go further without some information. I will probably junk it and never get an HP in the future.

  • @Shiruvan

I assume that if you let the ink to start banding no matter how much ink you put in but the nozzle seemed to not clogged( dripping with fresh ink), there are something else that I guess is air bubbles between nozzle and reservoir, the priming clip suction is primary tool, you don't have to take out the sponge, give it a good succ with the tool after you fill it to near overfill, everytime you let the cartridge to be too empty you have to do this again, fill regularly before banding starts
additionally, sometimes the electronic pins don't recognize the often-reinsterted self-refilled cartridges and just say that it's broken, swab those pins on the printer and cartridge with a contact cleaner, snap the cartridge with confident back to the carriage.
at least there's no 1x install chip like old Epson, that was awful

Love the large BCH ink bottles, buut... HP up to their old tricks, or what?

Thanks so much for subscribing and helping the channel grow - we’re getting closer to that 100k goal! To answer your question, you’re absolutely right to be concerned about the colors mixing in a spongeless refillable HP cartridge. The key is to glue the middle “T” section that separates the color chambers, making sure it’s completely airtight. If that isn’t sealed properly, the colors will blend if the cartridge is tilted or turned upside down. As for CISS compatibility, spongeless cartridges can work, but ensuring each chamber stays sealed is crucial for preventing cross-contamination. Subscriber questions like yours are a priority, so feel free to reach out if you need more details or want to dive deeper into CISS principles - I’d love to make a video on it!

For those integrated cartridges, HP lost a lawsuit so they won't stop you from using it after the page exceeds the limit. The printer will ask you "Do you still want to use this cartridge?". The answer is of course "Yes". Then it won't bother you again.

My new office jet pro 7720 is not allowing me to put the black cartidge back in because the door is closed to access the printer catridges! It keeps running a message door is open might damage the cartridges. I need to put the cartridge back in so that there is not a problem re drying of the port for the ink. It seems to be a stupid printer in any case due to the screen not working as normal LCD screens do. I've switched the power off and will try to access the cartridge carriage. the black cartridge was out for a few minutes then it shifted the carriage to the right out of reach of accessing the black cartridge. and has stayed there . I switched the machine power off. Then switched it on again and when it re booted I found the gear symbol the carriage came back into position . I put the part empty cartridge back in so hope it will be OK with compatible but not genuine HP cartridges, in three days time! Do you sell refillable sets of cartridges for this Office Jet pro 7720 ? I see the black high capacity is 953xl. ?

    • @glennlopez6772
      @glennlopez6772 2 роки тому

      Hope all's well!
There's always a snag, when the printer hasn't been used for some time!
Try this, when the pc is off.
When only the printer is powered on, open the door to the cartridges, which will park them for removal, or maybe to simply manually clean the print head.
Remove the cartridges, store them safely, switch off the power and disconnect the power and data cables from the printer chasis.
This will reset the chip in the printer and you don't have to wait all night long!
Provided of course you, didn't forget to disconnect as mentioned!
After a short while (you may have to repeat the procedure to find out if the chip needs more time!), Reconnect, while the pc is still off.
      and load the cartridges.
      Keep paper loaded!
The printer will do it's jig and maybe print out a sheet for alignment, which you place in the scanner and press the scan button.
When lights stop blinking, you're done.
Boot up and do your work.
Keep that alignment printout carefully for the future incase there was no paper ready, and fool the printer with it. Don't mix printer model printouts, write or paper punch them.
You may have to repeat these steps if on the job you get a prompt that there the printer is under control by some program! ( It had to print that sheet!)
Acetone works better than alcohol for cleaning but careful as the print nozzles are on a delicate very thin sheet!

Thanks, could I wash the insides of the catridge and the sponges with warm tap water first and then warm distilled water after to save on distilled water?
Thank you. God bless, Rev. 21:4

Thanks so much for subscribing - your support really helps as we push toward our 100k goal! Yes, you can definitely rinse the inside of the cartridge and sponges with warm tap water first, but if your area's water has high hardness, I recommend boiling it beforehand to avoid mineral buildup in the cartridge. Alternatively, you might want to invest in a distilled water maker, which costs around $80 (here's one I recommend: amzn.to/3DGhfmx). It's a great long-term solution, and considering distilled water costs about $1.50 per gallon and I go through about two gallons a day (including for drinking), it pays for itself quickly. Plus, it really improves the taste of coffee and tea! Let me know if you have any other questions - I usually respond to subscribers within 48 hours. God bless!

Is it needed to use pressure regulator? I have heard that a lot of people does not use it.

This is really cool! I would consider possibly doing this as well. What does the kit come with? I seen another company showing how to refill the sponges that comes with everything like the syringes/ink/ the primer tool. I would see how this would be so much more beneficial in the long run but I just wouldn’t know where I could purchase everything else if it did not come together. Thanks for the video by the way it was very interesting to learn how this is possible :)

You can go to here: www.bchtechnologies.com/mod-kits/for-hp.html and select the AS-RFC-HPSQ. If you don't have sandpapers, gloves, glue... there is another add-on for $1.99. You will also need a utility knife if you don't have one ($3.37)

Are you guys still able to see estimated ink levels? As when adobe flash stopped this January 2021, the HP solution centre didn't work anymore. Any other options to see estimated ink levels?

Hello, nice trick and job ! do you soak your printhead in 99.9% isopropyl alcohol? We managed to unclog the cartridges with hot water (under pressure, jet for the teeth) but I think that if the ink has hardened in the sponge, it cannot be repaired. (I mean , without using your method)
