A few people who don't know he actually put the writing on the wall a few months back in a summoning video where he discussed that he had some levels of resentment for SW and how the game progressed in his past, the things the game cost him in his life, and how he wished that back then he had just botted like everyone else because no one ever got punished for it and how not having the "Dungeon Replay 10/10 System" for YEARS just ruined parts of his life. The writing was on the wall from that moment on. I think he's been planning this for a while and glad to see him go do something that improves his mental health.
(I went back and found the two videos - 5 months Ago titled GAME CHANGING SUMMONS at 1:15:00 and 3 months ago Titled 2.5 Years of Saving Summons at 33:00 in) Both videos will give you context to him leaving and why he didn't choose to play any other game.
But - this should really be a turning point for Com2Us - Chronicles wasn't received well and 10/10 replays on dungeons isn't enough. It should be timed based. Autoplay based on Time (Say 1 hour) because a good team means 10 runs can be done in less than 5 mins and having to interact with the game EVERY 5 min is miserable. When you could just cheat (like everyone else) and get a Bot that is going to do it for you. It's essentially - cheat - or quit. And Com2Us has taken the side of cheaters. And slowly but surely that is going to kill the game outright.
Time based makes no fking sense, people won't interact with the game and will quit much more likely. Time based runs would be the end of the game, 10/10 is easily enough.
@@friedvegetable6796 You realize everyone is using bots that run on time based settings to grind runes/dungeons while people do other things all day right? People are literally cheating in every aspect of the game time-based. You are delusional if you don't know that already.
@@BroxigarZ I was G1-Legend since 2014 to 2021 (Global to EU) and no one I knew (also g3/legend) used Bots.
People used to refund back in the day and refresh data/cache/multiple phones for multiple reapp packs and LD packs etc., but Bots for sure not.

I think the source of income as a content creator is not the ads alone, but also business opportunities that comes. For example paid sponsorship. But Bagel had always say no to paid sponsorship. If not with 300k subscribers, there is no reason why he could not live off as a content creator
I remember one Saturday Morning video he stated that Com2us blocked him from gaining gaming sponsorships since he had stated negative opinions about their games. The whole segment is like 20 seconds in a long video but he looked into the camera and said he holds in a lot.
@@PandaMochiSlug on multiple occasions he did mention he received invites from com2us, but he rejected them. Also, the notorious raid shadow legends, you think they would not try to give bagel a sponsorship?
@@PandaMochiSlug I call bs, there are so many that gave negative feedback and still received sponsorships. He is the reason alone, why he makes no/not enough money with his size and just sleeped on one game which gets less and less popular.
@@friedvegetable6796 I always viewed his approach as an unsustainable one and it was clear that he wouldn't grow because his content quality never improved. He should have hired an editor AGES ago because tbh his editing isn't that good in today's YT. He could've hired an overseas one to cost less and it would've been the greatest investment his channel could ever dream of getting.

It’s sad. Especially because his other channels and attempts at multi content haven’t hit it off. They’re going to demonetize his food channel if he doesn’t get a certain amount of watch hours. I know so many people watch him for him and there are a lot of gacha games with large audiences where he could try to move to but I feel like when he’s tried the viewers haven’t followed him. 😢 Maybe you can privately speak to him and offer some advice or insight. I think he has the personality to remain and play other games but I don’t know what’s going on in the back (but I do think he’s been solo with no agency behind him or many sponsorships.)

I could have sworn you along with all of the other big Summoners War content creators had all met up in Vegas one year and hung out. Afaik on his main channel he gets a few to no sponsors every year. I've seen him play other gachas via sponsor on his other channel but those are still widely spread.
Bagel from what I've seen over the years has always been solo for the most part. He doesn't really do the meetups.
@@TheAce5399 This would have been in like 2015-2016 so when the game was at its peak. He used to do a ton of collabs believe it or not.

MlO had great shoe designs but terrible construction. Ordered 3 separate pairs, all with shoddy build quality that didn't last more than 2 months. Took the issue to the support team, not once did I receive a response from them. I feel as though I've been scammed
Its because people say over instantaneously & over the vicinity that summoners war is actually broken com2us is actually putting too much patch notes on the monsters & sooner or later summoners war may shutdown, that's why over millions of people leaving sw claytano that's the truth.

@@WuZetian34 As far as I'm concerned they don't change enough things that matter and often change things that are pointless. I don't like the most recent changes because they haven't been impactful. Even the most recent 2A's don't seem to really matter at all.
@@WuZetian34The Meta mostly stays the same, their patchnotes are actually perfect and probably the best for a mobile gacha game. There is a reason, why E7 and others never got that big as Sw.

I think Com2Us killed a huge part of what made the game fun... The difficulty in making monsters 6 stars. When they announced the GUI improvements for feeding monsters to one another we thought it was just a GUI improvement, which looked great. But they actually changed the mechanics and completely removed the need to level up material monsters. That made 6 starring mons so easy it removed a huge chunk of the game.
Com2us stocks have dropped to its lowest and when happens companies quit. In other word goodbye summoners war

One can say that he should just switch to another game, but the problem is there are no other games. SW ruined it for every other game. He's been trying other games on his other channel and nothing sticks, because eventually they're either just like SW and you can't stand it because of that, or they're so different that they don't scratch the itch. He would have to pivot to something else entirely.
