Their booth of equal measure . That’s so money cars n jewelry is like our acorn. So a man has no preeminence over a beast , and we all gon die so what death is like the reward for us all
Just watched a news video of 700 lbs of acorn's stashed in the walls of a house. Decided to look up more about acorn woodpeckers and here I am! True story!...Amazing Creatures"! Great video! 😊👍👍
One of my favorite glimpses of these woodpeckers came from my window where I watched one woodpecker sending acorns down a small gutter pipe from the roof top to its friend posted down below! Ingenious!
Same with squirrels they’ll stash acorns and not remember where they are . I think the behavior is such a trait with them it’s something that becomes like second nature go get acorns stash go get acorns stash of course the cycle never stops
that probably means it's been banded, which is used to track migration and lifespan by scientists. They record where and when they catch the bird, add a band with identification, and if it had one already they add data to their database
Yeah except the value of said currency actually fluctuates whereas an acorns value does not. So your poor attempt at a joke really only works if youre a child or a moron.
That's NOT a real disease! Stop comparing every series of holes to the plague, you morons. Just because a bunch of sheep on social media aren't special and need validation doesn't make you any more correct
I have red bellies Downies and pileated woodpeckers in my area I know there’s other species like this one the acorn woodpecker the hairies the flickers and many more I’m glad for the 3 species I do get to see I’ve been able to get videos of the pileated one was right outside my patio hammering away at a hole in the tree the red bellies and Downies are regular visitors to my feeders One of my favorite kinds of bird for sure
Man, i kept seeing this on hiking trails and not understanding who or what was doing this. I never seen squirrels or anything plopped them into these holes.
This video depicts the peckers just doing their thing and pecking trees. How charming. However on my rural property year after year they have constantly pecked into the cement siding of my house and shop buildings and have caused thousands of dollars in damage! I get the siding repaired and repainted and then they just return and destroy the repairs.
I wonder if there is a coating you could use that they wouldn’t like? Gardeners put capsaicin on plants, for example, but I know birds have bad senses of smell so that in particular wouldn’t work. A friend of mine has wood and aluminum siding and they kept either damaging it or banging the metal, but one day they randomly stopped.
Acorn woodpeckers gives us lesson to think about saving of our resources for future Really amazing territorial worrier bird. Nice video from Pakistan 🇵🇰

The woodpeckers seeing another woodpecker trying to integrate into the flock. "You're not that guy pal, you're not that guy"
Beautiful woodpeckers 😊🎉
Masters at work
This is beyond crazy. That's more food than they can, _collectively_ eat in a single year. NUTS!
They’re like human beings trying to be a millionaires!

This is actually really freaking me out. Holes packed together with things in them, just makes my skin crawl.
🤦🧠
You really need some exposure therapy. Do you not see anything WRONG with you feeling this way? That's not a real disorder. Wow
trypophobia
Oh god this world is doomed, y’all are so soft lmao
@@upperechelon1593 Yep. My fear of holes will definitely cause the apocalypse. Sorry.
Acorns are enough to make these birds happy. I wish us human are like that.
Nah, not for me. I still want to see human race create colonies on other planets.
There is no "us." Only you. Stop accusing your bad ways onto others.
They're not doing things for "happiness", they're doing it for survival. Grow up

I thought I had OCD!
You don’t.
They are very organized indeed -but TV please remember that Ocd is a mental disorder not an adjective or expression.
we are all acorns after all
😂
At least most people with OCD aren’t too much concerned about how the inside of their fridge looks like.
They're wearing their ID on their ankle's so they can tell who belongs and who doesn't. 🤣
One, the holes are freaking me out, two birds apparently can have ocd lol
Seriously work on yourself. Those holes can't harm you. It's a TREE FOR GODS SAKE NOT THE PLAGUE
That’s real dedicated work ethic!
Thank you so much for this magnificent video 👍👍😊😊
How great and Unlimited is the beauty, power and wisdom of God. Such a beautiful creature

Yeah me too
These guys are fun to watch. Lots of things about them are funny and Goofy. And for woodpeckers they are rather not shy
How do they eat those acorns? How do they break the shells?
If they can drill holes into the tree, they can crack a little acorn.
lovely ! one of my fav. Birds😍
That one batch of woodpeckers who kept on sending down 700 lb of actors through the innards of a home must have been so confused
This would be a good movie to watch the fight against the other woodpeckers and squirrels 😂 someone make a movie
These all birds have steel and orange rings on there legs… I think they are someone’s pets😅

Ah, THAT'S why while trying to figure out whose voice that is, I kept picturing Adam Savage even though I knew it wasn't him.

They do that for attracting mates , i think
"your" property is only yours to other people 😂
Very good ❤
Do you think birds are able to tell the difference even in their own species by look, smell or what?
Birds don't have a sense of smell. They make up for it in sight and sound. It's why they get loud and colorful!
Their bank account! 😂
beautiful birds! i love birds very much. they are beautiful creation from God.
i wonder what acorns taste like. must be good if birds and squirrels go crazy over it
