Lets count all the things that make gas prices go up. 1. cost of crude oil 2. Cost of refinement (including wages now must be over $20/h) 3. Cost to transportation (including business taxes for drivers) 4. Cost of electricity and pumps. 5. business taxes (oil company) 6. fuel and gas taxes 7. employees running gas station (at least $20/h to keep them from fast food now) 8. open hostility by government personnel making business owners think that they are going to get shut down. 9.
