For the golden wasp considering dnd has no luck stat and your luck is determined by your real luck, and lvl1 hp is usually around 8 to 12 hp. I would say becoming more lucky irl is worth killing your character.
I'm assuming that the luck stat would be something like a permanent inspiration. But still, a permanent +15 to ALL dice rolls within that campaign would probably be worth killing a level 1 character. And it would probably only kick in during something like a god-slaying campaign with something like "An unknown being has sacrificed their life to add +15 to your rolls from now on" right at the end of the campaign. (The unknown being is that random character you sacrificed.)
There is the Lucky feat. 3 times a day, you can use it to reroll an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw that you do, or an attack roll against you. I'd say that +15 Luck would give you 15 extra non-regenerating uses of said feat. If you have the feat, the regenerating uses will be used first. Effectively, it's like having 15 inspirations, which isn't normally possible.

And 15% luck is like... +1/2 to hit... It's not a +3 because crit fail and crit success exists so the nat 1's and 20's don't really count... It's worth it... But like... By the time you can take it safely you probably have 7 other +2 items and at least 2 +5/+10 feats that overshadow the wasp... It's like those "Only useful for beginners but only accessed by pro's" items that other RPG's have.

2:11 Lets just say that unless you're a Barbarian or you're higher than level 6 at minimum... 30 damage is the equivalent of a nuke, level 6 doesn't seem that much, but DnD only has 20 levels so you gotta go through 1/4 of the game to insure that a golden wasp item doesn't kill you... And 15% luck is like... +1/2 to hit... It's not a +3 because crit fail and crit success exists so the nat 1's and 20's don't really count... It's worth it... But like... By the time you can take it safely you probably have 7 other +2 items and at least 2 +5/+10 feats that overshadow the wasp... It's like those "Only useful for beginners but only accessed by pro's" items that other RPG's have.
