I have the sound oasis and it definitely helps. Ty for sending it to me. I also have the hatch both for my kids and me. It’s really awesome. It plays a lot of different sounds. Great video Dr. Ben for those that don’t known or have the knowledge of them. Ty!
its crazy how tinnitus rarely effects me now... I hearing it all the time, but when I lay and bed. I have ZERO issues falling asleep.. maybe like once in a blue moon I can't sleep with the ringing.. I'll sit home in a dark room and completely tune it out . no pun - intended... lol
Thanks - but I'm wondering how these compare to simply using your "Alexa" device (Amazon). There you can say things like "Alexa - play rain" and then say "Loop On" and you will have rain sounds all night. You can pick waves, streams, crickets etc. Is a dedicated sound machine really better? If so, why?
Hi. Do you know if it's possible to add your own , personal sounds/songs to the micro SD card, in addition to the pre-programmed sounds you can get from their website?
Not sure if you read these comments. If you do , you know who I am. I find it so reassuring to see you and hear your voice when I'm in a bad place. It really helps. Thanks Ben.
Hi I’m looking for a white noise or sound machines for my dad . I live in USA and my dad lives in South America . What you recommend it, he is been living with tinnitus his entire life but now is getting worse.
The Sound Oasis Sound Machine is a great option that has a built in SD card with 20 different sound therapy options. The device is also bluetooth compatible so you can stream sound therapy from a cell phone as well. It can be found on Amazon for under $50.
I work on my electronic music, when mine gets loud during the day, and evening, but your number one machine would sure benefit me greatly, at bedtime! I have been using my tablet, or phone, to play your cricket sounds video, and a couple others, by Dalesnale, but I don't like the idea of my currently used devices, running the UA-cam app all night long. (Battery life, over the long term, because phones are many times more expensive, than this $60 device.) If I don't win, I'm definitely going to buy one. 😉 Also, for a little background on me- I'm nearly 50, and have been making electronic music, since I was 12 years old. I was treated for 3b non-sm cell lung cancer, beginning in the start of 2019. (Radiation, cisplatin, etoposide, then immunotherapy.) As of now, my lung cancer is gone, but occasional, brief tinnitus from the cisplatin, became my new norm. A couple weeks ago now, I was infected with the Omicron variant of Covid, and now my Tinnitus is much more frequent-near constant, for days at a time, with short periods of silence, only in the "right ear".
I have a sound oasis and I like it, so not signing up for the giveaway but do you have a recording for 8-9 KHz that might help my Tinnitus while I sleep?
I would like to understand this sound therapy for tinnitus a little better, ie: how or why it works.Too be honest, i have not heard of it until this video. Tinnitus has been with me a long time.
Hey Ben. I have a question for you. So I started to experience tinnitus in my left ear 5 days ago and it’s been pretty constant since. However, for the last day I’ve noticed it is actually better in silence and it’ll start up again as soon as I make an external noise. It actually seems to “respond” to any kind of noise, for example by continuing for however long I make the noise. Is that normal? I can’t see anything online about this!
Hey Elia, you asked some good personalized questions here. My answer depends on more information that I do not yet know about your history. Feel free to contact our team at Treble Health and we can do our best to help you.

@@treblehealth hey Ben. I would love to but I’m in the UK and I think you only support US citizens, right?
The dream egg from Amazon is also a great white noise generator. Has white noise, fan noises and environmental noise. Plus a light and timer 😊
Awesome. Thanks for sharing, Sarah!
