    I look forward to your videos every Sunday. Your style is very aligned with my own and your videos are really helpful or introduce me to styles/brands when I’m looking for something new. Sezane has been a fav of mine for several years now, thank you! ❤

      Oh thank you so much, that's an enormous compliment :) Hehe and mine too. Funny as my first experience shopping from the brand was an absolute disaster. Glad I ended up persisting as it's gone on to be one of my personal favourites :)

      Fingers crossed! I would check on Wednesdays and Sundays as that's when they tend to do restocks. I just took a peek and looks like they must have had some come back in for the gingham (a larger size - 14 - still left this morning). Hope you get lucky :)

    Hi JamieLee
    This is a wonderful selection - the knits really suit you.

  • @lunaticeyes93
    @lunaticeyes93 8 місяців тому +8

    The Chlo blouse and the Betty cardigan are my absolute favorite from Sezane as well! I just wish they would release more knits in 100% merino wool. There are sometimes pieces like the Lucas jumper that are 100% merino wool as well, but they are more suited for the winter season. The Betty however is a light weight merino knit and suits ever season!

    • @mademoisellejaime
      @mademoisellejaime  8 місяців тому +1

      They're both so good aren't they? And agreed! The James is another great example but it's a super thick wool and definitely not a year round piece. Fingers crossed off the back of the success of the Betty they do some similar styles - I'd love if they did a longer version!

    Im still thinking about that Pippa dress. What's the fabric like? Is it it flowy like stretchy Jersey or is it cottony? The hem in the pictures looks pretty stiff so I'm wondering how it drapes. Thanks for the video, lovely as usual! 🌸

    • @mademoisellejaime
      @mademoisellejaime  7 місяців тому

      So sorry that this message is hugely delayed - we've been struck with a quite a few bugs of late! It's more of a stretch jersey, but that's primarily made of cotton. I find that there's a weight to the fabric, so it falls nicely, though will also hold its shape. Does that answer your question?

    love your rec's and agree with most. The only one that most people love but doesn't work for me is Betty - I have large bust and narrow shoulder and that shape is generally a no-go. I think I wear my Chlo blouse and my Leontine (both in navy) more than anything else in my wardrobe. I'm a bit scared of trying their pants though as they seem mostly straight cut. Is there a pair you recommend for those with large hip to waist difference?

    • @mademoisellejaime
      @mademoisellejaime  8 місяців тому

      Ah yes I can appreciate that! I sometimes find the length a little on the shorter side for me (long torso here) so am generally quite mindful of how I style it). Those two pieces are GORGEOUS though, can see why you love them so much (two of my faves too). Styles you could look at: Austin, Loulou, Silvio, Syra, Lazare, Melchior, Tiziano, Jimmy and Tyler. Some of them are knitted so will have a fair amount of give x

    • @mademoisellejaime
      @mademoisellejaime  8 місяців тому

      So I usually would wear a strapless bra, or alternatively a racer back style bra (I have one from Boody which works well with these tanks). You can also get those convertible strap bras too where you can crossover the straps at the back :)

    Thanks for the great content. I am in Australia and saw your Quince recommendation from an older video and spent 2 hours late night to pick a lot of items - only to realize after it wasn’t shipping to Australia haha. I used to use parcel forwarding service some years ago but wasn’t too happy with it. Any you recommend?

    • @mademoisellejaime
      @mademoisellejaime  8 місяців тому +1

      Oh noooooo!!! Listen that actually happened to me the first time I discovered them and I was like screw it I'm just going to do mail forwarding LOL. I use Shipito - I can't say whether they are the most affordable however they are reliable. That said, depending on the option you choose it can take a while to arrive. If you go with the cheapest shipping option it's usually 2-3 weeks so if it's not that much more I'll usually spend the extra $30 to get it sooner. That said, I do balk at the current pricing as it's gotten so expensive. Last time I shipped out a box it cost me about $170 in shipping fees 🥲

    • @cupoftea5189
      @cupoftea5189 8 місяців тому

      @@mademoisellejaime it’s good if you have a lot of American brands you love and can’t get in Australia but true that increasingly they are becoming expensive and more brands are now available here. While I have your attention here :) , may I ask if you think Scott trench is still better choice than Uniqlo: C trench (if quality is more important than price)? I’m about to go look at the Uniqlo one in person..

    • @mademoisellejaime
      @mademoisellejaime  8 місяців тому +1

      @@cupoftea5189 Yes 100% this and we have so many brilliant brands on our doorstep which once you add in shipping are reasonably similar in terms of price. Hmm, I think from a value perspective you'll get just as much out of the UNIQLO one while spending half the price. I actually didn't see that one when I went in store so couldn't tell you how the fabric is. It looks perhaps slightly thinner? The Sezane one is a bit more sturdy and thick, where as the UNIQLO:C one looks a bit more fluid. So, I guess my feedback would be is that a dealbreaker for you. UNIQLO stuff is pretty good quality across the board though would say that fabrics etc have gotten a little less robust than in previous years. HTH! x

    • @mademoisellejaime
      @mademoisellejaime  8 місяців тому

      Basically you get a US mail address, and then the staff at that warehouse will repackage multiple parcels into one for you to send to (almost) any address. The only downside is that it has gotten really costly. When I first started using the service it was fairly affordable (in my eyes) but now I'm usually looking at $180 AUD for 5-6 items which is a lot.

      Great video as always. I bought the Scott trench on Poshmark New a few years ago but sadly I only wore it once a it just felt too structured ( think I like slouchier trench better). So decided to sell it. The Sezane Claude bag is on my wishlist. Hoping to find it second hand someday.I did buy the Leontine second hand but found it was uncomfortable cotton as I am very sensitive. So sold that too sadly. That lovely ivory cotton you mentioned. Is that the same cotton as the Leontine or is it softer? I wish there shoes came in half sizes as I tried two sizes of Jack sneakers and neither fit. Very informative video
