Over the past 2 years you have inspired me to become more minimalistic. I would look at many beauty gurus and thank that I needed as much makeup as them. I then stumbled across your channel, one of your makeup declutters. Thats when I had my light bulb moment. I don't have to have things, just to have them. After a large makeup declutter and constantly asking myself "do I actually really need/want this?" I am finally happy with my small but functional makeup collection. I made a conscious decision to change my life 2 years ago by becoming a Vegan. Since then, I have quit smoking, changed careers, ended/started relationships, and built my credit all over again. Now, at 41, I am planning to build a Tiny House which will lower my expenses and allow me the financial freedom to work less, but live more. I encourage you to keep on the path you have made for your self. Wonderful things are in your beautiful future. I've recently moved back to Australia after living in the UK for 2 years. It felt so good to clean out and pack my closet in the UK, I donated so much stuff, and felt really good. Then I got back to Australia, and am living back with my parents until I decide where to next. My wardrobe in my room is so packed with things I don't need or haven't worn for a couple of years. Can't wait to have a day just to dig and and simplify it!
i love this so much, i have been doing this little by little lately and a great way to make sure i don't buy too many pieces of clothing is i put a shelving unit in my closet so that there's only a specific amount of space on the side of it for clothes, so whatever fits there stays and everything else needs to be re-evaluated. i also try to do the "when you buy a new piece, get rid of an old one" mentality, it really makes you look at your clothing items and realize what you're hanging onto for sentimental reasons and what actually works for you.

This video was so inspiring that I jumped up right away after seen it and went to my closet - I cleaned out lots of stuff I know I'm never gonna wear again and now I just need to take those bags to one of those donation boxes (or whatever they are called). I've been wanting to do that for the loooooongest time but I've been only postponed and postponed and postponed it. Thanks to you, I finally got it done! I'm so proud of myself now. Hi Christine, I loved this video and yes, I would love to see more. I follow the 10 Capsule wardrobe and I loved the simplicity of it all. I have to admit, that I have large accessories collection and continue to get more since I live in four season area. I use accessories to change my look and tossed old shoes. I noticed that you don't have a hat collection? This is what I have to block the sun and unfortunately, I live where it get cold here and require a proper warm, full cover hat for the winter. My extras are my coats, sweater, blazers and I own one pair of jeans (no pants) and so glad that I am not the only one who does this. I love you added more plants and I love Harrison Ford! :) I discovered your videos about two years ago and I love your style and dream that I can live somewhere warm all year round like yourself.

What I found to be very efficient for me is to hang only the clothes you know you wear everyday all the time and the rest not think about it and put it in bags and then after some time you go through the bags of clothes and see if you missed anything

Great video. My grandma passed away in April at the age of 104. My son and I lived with her. We are just know going through her stuff and packing away her clothes. I'll keep till the anniversary, we did when my grandpa passed. I noticed how much clothes she didn't get to wear. Tags still on them. My son and I have started to go through our own stuff and slowly purge the items we don't need or use. I always watch your declutter videos when I feel I need motivation

Great video. My grandma passed away in April at the age of 104. My son and I lived with her. We are just know going through her stuff and packing away her clothes. I'll keep till the anniversary, we did when my grandpa passed. I noticed how much clothes she didn't get to wear. Tags still on them. My son and I have started to go through our own stuff and slowly purge the items we don't need or use. I always watch your declutter videos when I feel I need motivation
