@@NestArtfully Please also do a 'how to remove contact paper' sort of a video for people who are moving out of their rented flats and have to handover the flat as it was to the owners 🤣 (real problems iykyk)
The contact paper on the countertops really worked wonders. Seriously considering that hack now, as even our kitchen has very dark granite counters. Good job, Anusha!
Thank you Subarna, there are wall tile stickers and flooring ones too but we only did the countertop as we didn't want to splurge either! But like you said just this makes so much difference, you should try it too!
You are such an amazing idealogist!!I have been looking for some ideas to label my spice jars as I dont have the expensive circuit.its so lovely to watch your videos.i think after a year I comment.couldnt resist👍
As rightly said simple and classy. Very minimal yet so beautiful and functional. All the products used are rental friendly. Your videos are so relaxing to watch. Love
You won't believe my kitchen is just like yours and I have been planning something nice for my kitchen make over too bt I was unable to decide it..you have given me great ideas..Thank you so much..love you🥰♥️
Superb sharing... entire video was so nostalgic... reminds me of my times when I would do lots of new changes to my kitchen area...thanks dear... lovely ways you chose ... motivational 😀👍👍
Thank You! I went through all 3 types; Synthetic hi-gloss paint, Acrylic and Chalk...easiest to maintain is Synthetic Hi-Gloss, super smooth so easy to clean, Chalk paint is second best very nice classy finish, Acrylic was the most messy, kept sticking and peeling off...also a dirt magnet...
No words Anusha! Brilliant, elegant and beautiful! Wish I could get some tips from you regarding my kitchen .. I am not able to figure out which corner to start , will it be ' too much decor'?, Will it look cluttered, will it look aesthetic?...
Thank you so much! I personally think less is more in the kitchen as once the cooking starts especially if the kitchen is small it looks less aesthetic and more cluttered so you want more space to actually cook rather than simply sit pretty... best way to actually add colour is in say the storage used like transparent jars, nice cutlery, maybe hang some nice wooden spoons... organise the counter top with a tray, add a small vase with flowers or a live plant... and do up any one of the walls with something if you can..art frames or plates or baskets...do it in small steps like just the countertop around the stove area first.
There was no wet and dry kitchen area really, so we treated like it was entirely wet kitchen and we didn't face much issues... unsure how it will last beyond the period of a year though...
You are actually justifying the name of your channel. Your ideas are simple yet elegant. Today I watched your videos for the first time, got impressed and subscribed this channel. The videos are both aesthetically and elegantly designed. keep doing great work dear
Everything so simple yet so beautiful and elegant your choice of products is very nice 👍 I like all your ideas of decoration thanks for the video waiting for many more to come 😊😍
Hi Anusha.. I loved your kitchen transformation and I would like to implement few things in my kitchen either.. could you please review on the kitchen tap extension? How is it working now?
Thanks Jhansi. We have had no issues with the tap extension and it worked very well for the few months we used it. Just needs to be fixed correctly so there's no water leakage.
Thank you! All products were purchased from Shein.sg and Daiso in Singapore, I have provided links to similar products available on Amazon India in the description box as well :)
Hi watched the video almost 10 times to give a make over to my kitchen. It's so good. Just one question, did you peel off the contact paper on the counter top before leaving Singapore and if yes.. did it leave any marks on the counter top.
It is so heartening to know that you found the video so useful, thank you for letting me know! I did peel off the contact paper and it did leave patches of adhesive on the granite which was super easy to clean with either dish soap or a bit of acetone ... just a 5 minute job really and no damage :)
Hi Tanvi, it's in my kitchen organization video and the link is included in the description. You can chk here as well ua-cam.com/video/oZJHqNY6Q_0/v-deo.html
Yes, so fresh off the stove like hot oil I would place on a silicone mat, otherwise the sheet is heat resistant and I personally had no issues with it... but obviously granite / stone and wood countertops are more ideal in the long run.
Words are not enough Anusha 😊 Very nice and very useful video... so many kitchen related issues you have beautifully tackled... creative brain, huum 😊👍👌👌
hi very beautiful.looks so neat and clean.just one question is this same print for marble contact paper for kitchen available in amazon.i tied in the link given but cant see it.it will be good if you could give that link.
First time I watched ur video, simply awesome.even this idea for dark coloured counter top is good hack.I loved ur steel hob, bored of glass tops.can u pls share details of ur steel hob, I have the plan of buying ,how many years u are using that? Is that works well & maintainance is it easy? Pls if u share it would be helpful.
Thanks a lot 😊 However, this is a rented apartment so the steel hob came with the place and I have no idea with regards to the brand or how long it's been here... it does work without an issue and maintenance is the same as with glass tops definitely more work than the older burner stoves...
As an interior decorator I can say your style is refined , minimal and pleasing to the eyes ❤

I really like how you designed. But what happened if we put something heat products or utensils on it. If it burns?
Yes, so fresh off the stove like hot oil I would place on a silicone mat, otherwise the sheet is heat resistant and I personally had no issues with it... but obviously granite / stone and wood countertops are more ideal in the long run.
