It was a nicely presented tight race. The commentators might have been a bit excited as well - I do not see anything wrong with this. I remember years ago I was running a cross country race (about 8K) and at the 100 yards mark to the finish line I was still behind about 8 yards. Guess what - with the excitement from the race commentator and my own I was able to close the gap and win - I wouldn't have it any other way..
How sad that these commentators couldn't overcome their bias to think it was important enough to say the name of the Fullerton athlete who came from behind to win this event. Ugh! Inept, bias, dull witted...or all of the above. We may never know.
